The place is well situated. Close to the sea, close to bike trails and near the grocery stores and restaurants. James is easily reachable by texto or phone. We didn't have any problems.

We loved this location, it was steps away from a public waterfront park. The site was level and the location was quiet. The host, James was very helpful and let us hook up to the electric and water. The directions to the location were very straightforward. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Great space! Fit our RV perfectly (35ft fifthwheel with slides on both sides). Big rigs consider your skills but don't look past this spot. May need a spotter to watch the loft at the top of the stairs and the fence but we have stayed in campgrounds that are tighter. Back in was easy due to empty parking in front of the house. Grateful that James answered questions about space before arrival! Electric hookup was on the opposite side of the rig so an extension cord may be needed. Nearby park and a quiet neighborhood.

We loved staying at Jame's land! The location was perfect, the host answers really quickly too. It's close to a park where dogs are allowed (not on the beach though), close to a Circle K and some restaurants. The neighborhood is very calm, clean and welcoming. The only downside is that there was a lot of dogs barking all night, but that's it. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip in the keys!!!

We loved our stay in islamorada! The property was great, the park at the end of the road was beautiful and it felt very private. We paddled to the sandbar and found amazing restaurants and got to explore the area… would def recommend and will hopefully be able to return sometime! Thanks James!

I had a wonderful few nights on Erica's land. I felt safe and the location was perfect to explore so many areas between the Keys, Everglades, Biscayne, and Big Cypress NP. I even saw some manatees in the nearby canel leading to Biscayne! I would definitely recommend and stay here again. As other stated it does get buggy at night but it's FL so I wouldn't expect anything less. There is also a Planet Fitness, along with many shops and restaurants nearby but once your on the property you wouldn't know it with how peaceful it was.

1 night at Gods Country in Miami
This spot was perfection. A true "get away" but the safety of being very close to the "regular world" very low key, beautiful spot with great views and truly felt alone being the only people for I assume miles. We will be staying here again when we visit Florida later this year even going to stay longer as this is a wonderful home base for the surrounding areas attractions

This was my first stay through Hipcamp and it was great! 👍 The host was great to work with! He went above and beyond helping our family. Went down for a quick visit to the Keys and the site was super easy to pull the RV into. Since it is on a quiet street and I was towing a car, I didn’t have any trouble dropping the car, zipping around the Keys, and putting it back on quickly.

This is an amazing location to visit the upper Keys. James is so kind and respectfull to our privacy. We felt very welcome and he gave us great adresses too. We were so confortable, we slept like babies in this quiet and safe neighbourhood. We enjoyed the sunrise every morning on the ocean just down the street at Harry Harris Park and barbecued there every nignt. We visited all the great attractions on key Largo and Marathon with a safe and private base camp for the nignt at a very fair price. It was just perfect. Thank you so much James for this amazing opportunity to live the keys vibe like a local resident.

James has made it very easy to park a camper next to his home and enjoy a fairly private space with electrical and water hook-ups. Where we parked, we needed an extension for our 25 foot 30 amp electrical cord, which we had (heads up in case you need that), and he supplied the dogbone adapter to connect to his 50 amp outlet. There was a nice private area behind our trailer with a beautiful tree giving some nice shade that we used as our outdoor dining and kicking back space. Having Harry Harris Park so close was a big plus, as it is nice to be so close to the water. I think the neighborhood is usually very quiet; the week we were there, there were city construction crews putting in some underground facilities in the area (mostly around the corner), and some yard maintenance crews which contributed a bit of noise but we were mostly gone during their working hours, so it was not a big deal. Generally a safe and peaceful neighborhood. The weather fully cooperated and it was a lovely week. We would love to come back again next year!

Very rustic, nice though. Definitely “Gods Country” for the area. Enjoyed the spot and area very much, mosquitos were very bad after the sun went down, but it’s to be expected for where it is, just prepare.

Good place…. Not many bugs. NASCAR track is close. But, it isn’t that bothersome the noise. Safe and secure. Plenty of firewood. But, I’d suggest bringing big pieces for when the fire is lit. Walmart is close. 8 out of 10. Would reserve and camp again.
