Our love for unwanted animals from horses, pigs chickens, ducks, dogs, birds (well you get the idea) allows us to care for rescued animals. We offer many different unique stays from our Glamping Netted Hanging Round Bed to a converted Shipping Container made into an Eco Friendly Tiny Home to even a Tiny House Cottage and a treehouse! Soak in our zen garden hot tub . The Zen garden is a peaceful botanical retreat. It's a fun and romantic vibe if you love animals to just relax and breathe! Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run. Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground Pool Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

Weekend Trip to Kokomo Farms

Our stay absolutely exceeded my expectations! What a beautiful, calming, and hospitable animal sanctuary/farm experience. Every Friday and Saturday night they light a fire and had marshmallows and sticks already sitting out. There were so many small touches that made the stay just extra special for me and my 6 year old daughter. 100% will stay again!

Weekend Trip to Kokomo Farms

We had an amazing time camping in the tree house! We are “young” empty nesters and this was a great adventure in figuring out what future adventures will look like! Trudy and Greg were so kind and super hospitable! The weather was perfect! We bought the farm fresh eggs and they had an electric griddle to cook em. We sat on the porch while it rained, reading a book with each other, sipping coffee and enjoying the beautiful of the land on the farm. My wife painted a painting in the garden to add to hundreds of others… it was cool to be a part of so many others that have been through. We pet the horses, fed the roosters, played fetch with the dogs. We drove about 15 minutes to Suwannee state park and hiked Balanced Rock Trail. Our time at Kokomo was sacred, and for us a pivotal point into the second half of life! I know it’s a source of income for them, but it felt like they were truly sharing their land and home with us. Such a great time!

What a great place! It’s like a little paradise tucked away. Level parking space, access to the water, paddle boards, hangout spot, fire pit. Absolutely the description matched the spot 100%. Darrin was also quick to come get us when there was an amazing sunset happening over the lake!

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to an emergency back home, but boy were we sad to go. The treehouse is such a fun camping experience and our host, Greg, was so kind. He had farm fresh eggs for us every morning and even let us use some of the garlic from his garden. We woke up to his chickens greeting us every day and got to feed his horses. We were so bummed to have to leave whether it was a day short or not but we will definitely be returning to try one of the other camp houses they have available.

Kokomo Farms is so freaking wonderful! I was traveling alone and got the retro camper for one and had the most idyllic weekend, enjoying nature, underneath the live oaks. They have been so conscientious in the creation of this place and it shows everywhere. there is so much love and intention in every detail. i cannot wait to stay there again and try their other adorable lodgings :).

This was the most beautiful little farm I’ve ever seen! Don’t forget your bug spray but I absolutely loved going through the garden and the paint area. Trudy was very lovely and made sure we were set for the night.

We had a great time staying at the cozy vintage RV. My daughter loved that the welcome sign had her name written on it. The painting station was awesome and the roosters came to say hello while we painted. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful.

I loved staying in Kokomo. There were tons of rescue animals, bathrooms, showers with hot water, a fridge, grills, games, hot tub, art, and wild blackberries to eat. I got to wake up to the sounds of the animals and wildlife. There were lots of national parks around. My only regret is not being able to dive the underwater caves at Peacock Springs State Park.

Weekend Trip to Kokomo Farms

My recent stay at Kokomo Farms was truly wonderful. We stayed in the open-air treehouse, which offered a very unique experience. Trudy and Gary, the hosts, were incredibly hospitable, and the farm itself left a fantastic impression. They went above and beyond, providing board games, cards, a coffee and tea station, and even farm-fresh eggs for breakfast the next morning. We especially loved the stargazing trampoline and the blackberry patch. It was also fun seeing all the animals running around, and my wife enjoyed the painting corner. We enjoyed seeing all the hand-painted signs to see where everyone hailed from. The only minor drawback was the presence of frogs in the outdoor (open-air) restroom, but if you're okay with that (frogs aren't my favorite!), it absolutely doesn't detract from the overall positive experience. I highly recommend Kokomo Farms for a getaway.

After a very long day of traveling, the welcome we received was amazing. We were guided to our private site, shown all the hookups bathroom locations and even an invite for coffee in the morning. This place has real bathrooms and the hot shower was amazing at the end of our day. We only stayed one night so we could continue on our trip but we had a very peaceful evening and lots of rest. Highly recommend that you give this a visit.
