We loved our stay. It was great having the wood deck at this site with the picnic table. We got there too late on Saturday for the ranch tour but got to visit the goats and having the donkeys and horses visit our camp site each morning was nice. Rob and Mike were great hosts.

Camping at Wildflower Ranch was great! Some of our favorite parts about this property: the stars, the showers, and the chickens. The property is super close to Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens, which was another highlight of our trip. Highly recommend if you're looking for a private and serene spot to camp out.

Rob & Mike have a beautiful property, camping areas are spacious, the RV spots are well laid out. There is plenty of shade. We loved being off grid. We took the farthest camp site and we will be coming back with our friends. The farm is wonderful, the horses showed up for breakfast 2 days in a row and we had plenty of fruit for them. The donkeys were sweet and a little timid. I do want to spend more time with them and brushing them. They were sweet and were in the field as we were leaving and surrounded me. My heart was happiest when we were in the goats pen and they ran to greet me and my husband and wanted so much attention. We got to see a baby goat not even 24 hours old. We both held 3 week old babies and I got to feed her with a syringe. She was born with 3 other sisters. They coffee bar was a very nice set up and the restrooms and showers were very clean and quaint. You definitely need to visit with Rob & Mike. They were perfect hosts, great personalities, attentive and very knowledgeable. Thank you for sharing your farm with us and cant wait to come back Rob and & Mike.

Our visit was awesome! Rob and Mike were delightful hosts, they went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience! Their property was beautiful! There were big shade trees everywhere! I loved the tour and enter acting with all the animals. The baby goats were the highlight of the tour! The on demand hot water showers were amazing along with the wash station for dishes! The Withlacoochee state trail was close and had easy access! I enjoyed Fort Cooper State Park. Walmart was about 20 minutes away if you have a rain day or if you needed anything. I cannot say enough good about this peaceful/relaxing escape! You must love animals like me, because the horses and donkeys are free roam during the day! That means they could come to your camp and get into your stuff. I didn’t mind, it was well worth it for me! I will be back!

Weekend Trip to Monarch Manor Farm

This is our third time coming to Rick's place. As always, it is a great place to recharge our bodies from city life. As a bonus, you will get a stupendous and gracious host full of hidden talents and surprises, just like his place. Although temperatures could hit the 90s during the day, at night it gets cool enough to turn off our portable fan and reach for a blanket in the middle of the night. Thanks again, Rick, for allowing us to stay at your place.

What a cool little farm! Rob & Mike have an awesome setup on their farm - from the private camp sites to the outdoor shower/bathroom setup they’ve thought of all the small details. Although I was only here for a day, I’d definitely come back for longer next time I’m back in the area. For a first time Hip-Camper they’ve set the bar for what a stay should be. Hands down better than camping on top of others at an RV park or even some cramped state/national parks. Highly recommend!

This was my second trip here with my granddaughter this year. We absolutely love it here. We just love the idea of camping with free roaming horses and donkeys. My granddaughter spends most of the day walking around with them and feeding them apples and carrots. We also really enjoyed hiking the trails. We love taking the tour of the ranch to see all the other animals and hold the baby goats. The campsites and the property have always been well maintained and beautiful. The bathrooms and showers are always clean and you always have hot water. The whole experience that Lucky U provides is simply amazing! The hosts Rob and Mike are the best! They have a genuine love for their animals, property, and people. They provide awesome service and are very accommodating. We are already planning another trip for the summer!

Rob and Mike have a jewel in the crown. Their place is well thought out and the bonus of the horses and donkeys having breakfast with us was wonderful! The showers and coffee bar (an added bonus) are spotless. We will be back again.

We can’t express enough how lovely this ranch is , a beautiful area to camp with hot showers , and some of the best landscapes to wake up too. Rob & Mike are such pleasant people and made sure we were all set and happy through the stay. We also loved that they offer a weekly ranch tour and show you all the animals and even baby goats ! Probably one of the best “campgrounds” I have stayed at yet. We don’t even consider this a campground because there’s so much space between camps it’s truly such a peaceful space to spend time away. All of the springs , beaches and places to explore are within an hour to hour and a half including a 5 minute drive to the local river boat launch. My only advice to anyone staying is a little bug spray and keep your camps tidy and it’s truly a 10/10 place to stay. We are already planning our trip back to magnolia hill and can’t wait to see Rob & Mike again. If you’re thinking about a stay here , go ahead and book it you truly won’t be disappointed.

Getting to tour their ranch and visit with goats was a highlight for us. Not to mention being visited by donkeys and horses while enjoying morning coffee. We would definitely camp here again and highly recommend to our friends & family.

This was our first time using hipcamp and it was an incredible experience. Rob and Mike were so hospitable from the fully stocked showers to the farm fresh eggs in the morning. My pup and I enjoyed our stay there. It was such an amazing experience to be sitting at my campsite and see a horse walk up to us. Then two others followed. Later, after our walk on the nature trail, seven donkeys came over to say Hi. Mike and Rob are very good hosts, quite welcoming. Their animals and the place are well cared for. The campsites are clean and well spaced out. I definitely recommend this place and would like to visit again.

We had a wonderful time at Lucky U Ranch, the beautiful land and peaceful nature were a great escape from the city life. Rob and Mike are wonderful hosts and were very helpful with anything we needed. The amenities are nice and everything you could need.

Great open land with nice clusters of trees for cooling shade. Owner does an excellent job in providing a bin of some essentials along with a very detailed and organized binder that explains everything you need to know to ensure the best experience possible. All the rules are clear so there’s little left but to relax and enjoy the property. They provide all kinds of add ons including access to a very nice gym. Restrooms and showers were some of the nicest hip camp amenities Ive seen, all cooled by brand new air-conditioners. Cold and hot filtered bottle water is provided to refill your camp supply. We saw several gopher turtles and the bird watching was incredible with 11 different varieties in one evening. We would definitely go back and visit again.
