Stay by a lovely pond on 34 acre fruit and ornamental tree nursery property with great vibes. Located near I75 just 20 miles South of Tampa, 35 miles east of Saint Petersburg, 35 miles North of Sarasota, 2 hours West of Orlando.
Parts of property are wide open, other areas are rugged and difficult to walk through including some wetland areas. The nursery has plenty of trees, & some fields - large pond is surrounded by cattails and marsh/wetlands & has fish (Bass, Tilapia, Sunfish, Catfish).
Room for Privacy between campsites. Usually have fresh organically grown veggies and fruit available too! (Citrus, Starfruit, Banana. Mango, Papaya & more)
Several species of wildlife have been seen on the property. There are some lovely Hawks that are fun to watch. They follow us around at times - hoping we flush out prey for them.
Our pond-front sites do not currently have power, water or sewage hookups. Generator use is OK. Firewood is available, but please keep campfires small and safe. Generator power is ok and we have them on site, or a nearby Home Depot can rent one to you.
Areas around office and main gate may offer some 120 volt options power for charging systems, along with water spigots and waste dumping options. Note: 30Amp power outlets are currently all in use.
Please plan to arrive well before sunset to get settled in and see your way around the site.
We think the property is lovely, and definitely want you to enjoy your camping experience!
Note: Honeybee hives are on property about June through January, if any bee allergies within your group please advise - so we can point you toward a campsite further away from hives. Other insects and some plant species may be annoying.

Mike was super nice and welcoming! He helped us make a fire and even gave some fruit before we left for the road! Will definitely be coming back for another stay. It was very private and right next to a beautiful pond where your allowed to fish and swim in if you'd like.
Super interesting property with so much to see! If it comes out of the ground, it probably grows here. Mike was a very accommodating, informative, and friendly host with a wonderful piece of land which he works hard to maintain. Thanks for the great stay and for teaching me a few things too!

Host was great! Very friendly, kind and accommodating. My husband and I visited by the pond a week after Thanksgiving to visit our kids and new grandson. We essentially had the whole place to ourselves. There are many different areas to camp on the property, very peaceful and private. It's absolutely beautiful there! We loved the lake, gorgeous trees and sunrises. It is close to stores/restaurants. We had a wonderful time and definitely plan to return again!

Mike greeted us and opened up the gate when we arrived, and from there we were able to pull in and park our RV. We took a tour of the fruit farm and learned a little bit about what some of the unique plants grown on the property were and their health benefits.
Mike gave us our box of some really incredible and unique fruits grown on the property which we highly recommend adding on for your camping trip! It was totally worth it and adds to the experience. The fruit is all organic and was perfectly ripe and juicy, best camping food ever!
We picked the campsite that had the floating dock and close to the area with the honey bees which was perfect. We can’t express enough how gorgeous this large pond is and it’s a great fishing spot as well.
You can tell Mike is very passionate about the farm and loves sharing it with new people. We loved that this place is secluded and private but note that there is loud noise from the highway and airport. We hope to come back if we pass through or at least pick up some of the delicious fruits from the property, we are addicted now!
You guests were so awesome we didn’t like to see you leave! Sure enjoyed sharing ideas, information and the site with you. Felt like we could have talked for hours or days before running out of subjects! Circle back if you can.

We wish we could have stayed longer!!! Such a secluded and tropical feel. Definitely recommend stayung by the pond as its so serene with really beautiful views.

We had a lovely time at Mike and Bill’s place. Site 4 was perfect for our 20’ travel trailer. There is a little dock where we had our morning coffee and watched birds. Mike was especially welcoming and accommodating. Fresh fruit right from the farm!
It was great to host you and hope you return some time to see all the changes happening here! You were great guests!
