Weekend Trip to Soluna Springs

We loved staying at the Tiny Glamping gator home!! The host was very communicative and clear instructions the whole trip. The home is very clean, organized, glamorous and spacious! The shower was my favorite part of the home better than most hotels!

Weekend Trip to Big Oak Farm Dog And Horse Camping

We needed a place to crash for our spontaneous weekend getaway to kayak, paddle board and snorkel. Just a place to pitch our tent. We stopped in mid day and set up our tent and Travis met us and showed us power and water hook ups. We went into cedar key and had a great water day, stopped at a cool little tiki bar on the way back and made it back to the tent exhausted and slept great!! We left in the am and headed down to the springs to snorkel! The campsite is off the road on the property which is in the country and it is a farm property. You will still hear cars pass and its dark with lots of stars to see. They provided water via the hose and a trough to catch it and electric is available although we didn't need it. We will definitely stay again. Plenty of room for multiple tents or smaller pull behind type camper Dog friendly for a well behaved dog.

Beautiful farm, very private and the house is cozy and comfortable like grandma’s place. Excellent shower. Perfect if you want less people and more nature. Nice patio pad with chairs and a fire cage. Great spot to watch the donkeys and sheep.

The Ichetucknee Site has partial shade, and you can park very close to your camper, or you can park on the concrete pad that is next to the house. No camper is parked in the Suwannee Site, but if there was one, you would see the front end of it just to the left of the sidewalk next to the red-roofed barn.

2 nights at Happy Trails Snowbird Haven

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Happy Trails in Susie and Jay’s beautiful backyard! They were very attentive and generous hosts… greeting us when we arrived and helping us get hooked up to their 50 amp service with water, sewer and a strong WiFi! Susie also hooked us up with hot oven-fresh rolls, farm-fresh eggs and the “welcome packet of info” they share with their Air B&B guests. Our shady site was beside ACRES of woods that connected to MILES of wide, shady, neighborhood trails overlooking huge green pastures of adjacent farms… perfect for quiet, evening strolls and safe E-BIKE adventures for retirees like us. We LOVED being there on their 5-acre slice of country heaven in such a peaceful neighborhood of fine homes. We highly recommend staying with them and look forward to staying there again in the future.

Weekend Trip to Grazing Oaks Ranch RV and Horse Stables

We had an amazing time staying at Grazing Oaks, we didn’t want to leave! We were a party of 3 adults, two kids under 10, and two dogs traveling in a 30ft trailer. The RV sites are well spread apart, making the experience more exclusive to the travelers. We stayed right across from the horse stables, and got to meet the amazing staff that tends to the horses, as well as learn about them. We were in the area to scuba dive at Blue Grotto and Devils Den (just minutes away) and will absolutely be reservation again for our future dives. Although both dive locations have full RV hook ups, the laid back feel and exclusivity offered at Grazing Oaks Ranch will keep us as repeat customers.

This little campsite was perfect! So many trees and foliage so it was much cooler in this Florida sun. A dog park and a beautiful walking trail next to a bird sanctuary and even cows made the trip extra special. It was awesome to find a nice quiet place to stay. This was my first ever experience renting out a private primitive spot and it was absolutely perfect. Since it was Memorial Day weekend and we (myself, my partner, and my little brother) decided last second to take a trip, there was no camping available. I looked everywhere online and stumbled across the only space in the area for 30 miles.. Magnolia Sink on Glenn Farms. The land we stayed on was beautiful and away from all the craziness of Memorial Day weekend even though we were 10 minutes from Ginnie and Itchetucknee State park (right in the middle) Judy was extremely helpful and took us to our location where we set up camp and were able to come and go as we pleased with no worry about our stuff getting taken. The wildlife came out all hours of the day, but especially at dusk. We saw deer, rabbits, Judy’s sheep and cows, and even a random Turkey that came pretty close to our camp. The sunset was also wonderful from the open field with the trees surrounding it. Judy even offered to give us a little tour of the historical farm, but unfortunately our camp got rained out (we didn’t come prepared no fault of the site) and we had to leave a day early. Needless to say this trip was absolutely amazing thanks to Judy and Tom and we will be coming back soon and getting another spot on their beautiful farm! Note to add: If you want crazy and wild and partying, this isn’t the place for you. This is an area to appreciate the world and nature and someone’s private land. Stay respectful

Glenn Farm

The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.

It is specifically built to overlook the main blueberry field and peach grove. Stunning views at sunset. An outhouse / composting toilet is currently under construction with the rain water collection system now complete. In the meantime a portable toilet is provided. A potable water station is available and built from re-purposed materials and wood harvested locally. We are a working farm. We supply every Lucky's Market location with fresh turmeric and a host of stores with our blueberries. We also have an active u-pick program during the blueberry and peach harvests (late March to early June) that is available to Hip Campers. There are multiple springs within 30 miles in various directions - some of them of First Magnitude volume. Ichetucknee Springs offers excellent river rafting. Ginnie Springs offers world class underwater cave diving -PADI license required. Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs consistently offer up close sightings of Manatees without the crowds of Crystal River. Located out in the country in a gated community with about 40 homes on five acre lots with lovely shaded walking trails. Ten minute drive to restaurants, stores, Alachua County Equestrian Center, Easton Archery Center, and Champions Park Softball Tournaments. Florida's longest zipline opened July 2, 2025, and is only 15 minutes away. Also close by you'll find University of Florida Gator sports, many Florida springs, and Michael Singer. We have two sites, both with septic, good water, and 50 or 30 amp hookup. The Suwannee Site is for smaller campers up to 27’ feet,, and the Ichetucknee Site is more shaded and has room for campers up to 34 feet long. Because of the curviness of our driveway, we cannot accommodate any rigs longer than 50’ including tow vehicle.

This eco-retreat is located at Peacefield where we rescue and rehabilitate farm animals - this space helps support the mission, so we and the animals really appreciate you staying with us! We're minutes from town (1.5 miles to the Jonesville Publix) yet totally private. You'll have 8 beautiful acres all to yourself with power, water, and super fast internet. Our caretakers home is about 500ft away but you'll be facing west for the stunning sunsets through the oak trees and won't see it. Although they're ready to help should you need anything. About 1500ft away, and not seen, is the main house, gym, and sauna. You'll be surrounded by stunning Florida nature and most importantly dozens of rescued farm animals that now call Peacefield home. During your stay they won't be in your field but you can say hello through as they'll be your neighbors across the fence. We're also more than happy to give you a farm tour anytime during your stay. You're also welcome eat anything that is ripe on the fruit trees or that is ready in the garden. You'll also have access to our gym and sauna which are shared. It's about a 10 minute walk away up towards the main house. There you'll find a Peloton bike, peloton treadmill, peloton rower, yoga mats, TRX straps, a few free weights, AND Finnish sauna! It's a sanctuary for humans too :) Please note there is no restroom or RV hookup for waste. Vegan Stuff! Because we rescue farm animals we ask that no animals products be brought in, cooked or consumed on property out of respect for them. Please keep it 100% vegan. If this is new for you, as it was for us at first, don't worry, it's way easier than you think. Oatmeal, avocado toast, black bean tacos, etc. Whatever you already love, just veganise it. And the nearby Publix, or pretty much any grocery store, will have vegan pizza, burgers, and nearly anything you'd crave. We know this lifestyle might be new to you but it's the best thing we've ever done. Your stay could double as a cleanse from the standard American diet. Again, the sanctuary lives up to it's name and is an incredibly special and peaceful place. Run down the tree covered road, do yoga under an oak tree, enjoy the sauna, take a Peloton class, read to the chickens (they love a good story), meditate with the pigs, and so much more. Peacefield is a retreat and a tranquil escape for animals and humans:) We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and the this space directly supports the animals and our mission. These funds will be used for food, medicine, rescue operations, the emergency vet fund, and so much more! Location One of the coolest things about this place is that it feels so private and secluded yet less than 2 miles to Publix. Approximately 10 miles to downtown Gainesville, The Swamp (UF Stadium), The University of Florida, Whole Foods, and more! This is also a perfect launching pad to explore all the amazing natural springs in north central Florida. Ginnie Springs, and Ichetucknee Springs State Park are some of our favorites - and you're more than welcome to borrow some tubes and pumps. Although we're a little ways from the beach we do have beach chairs and umbrella for your use. Cedar key is about 45 minutes and St Augustine or Crescent Beach is about 1.5 hours. We live near one of the most beautiful roads for running and biking. Tree covered canopy for miles! Guest access Interacting with the animals. You can feed them and say hi from outside of their enclosures and pastures, but do not go in with them unless we are with you. Please always shut doors and gates behind you - they are sweet but escape artists :)
