The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.

It’s a slice of paradise hidden away from the hardships of society’s rat race. You can see to the bottom when the sun hits the water at the right time of day. It’s crystal clear blue like the springs that feed the rivers. This is truly a foundation of youth! Learn more about this land: Jewel’s Sink is a private spring that you can swim in, share a Picnic with your friends or family. Has a nice fireplace to sit around and roast marshmallows as you listen to scary camp fire stories. Generators are allowed don’t pay attention to what is says below

Relax with your feet up by the historic Suwannee River under majestic hickory trees, catch some bass from the dock or along the river bank. Walking distance to Royal Springs and boat ramp. Bring your gear to the Spring Diving capital or go spring hopping in a kayak to the many local springs in the area. Have the site to yourself, or bring your friends as there are 3 full hookups (30 amp) and one electric/water only as well as beautiful spots for tent camping. Just message me and I'll make the additional site(s) available. *Please note: due to 3 hurricanes going over us in just over 1 year, the dock and steps were under water for quite some time. We are working on refreshing them, but in the meantime the upper steps are closed. There is an easy path down so it should not affect your enjoyment of the property.

Looking for your own private campsite convenient to the area's rivers, springs and trails? Escape to Moonlit Avenue - A private treelined driveway leads to the primitive campsite with bathhouse nearby where the deer (and sometimes turkeys) have a regular route along with other forest animals and insects; birds abound in the trees. Goats, chickens (including a rooster), dogs and cats are domesticated nearby. Enjoy this private and serene primitive camping area in a forested riverfront neighborhood with a great public boat ramp a short walk away. The campsite is located on the back acre with cleared areas for tents and vehicles. Picnic tables and fire rings are provided. Spring well water access via hose at the campsite or at bathhouse with shower, sink and toilet. Whether you're in need of forest bathing, a dip in real fresh spring water (always around 70F or 21C degrees year round!) or looking to explore by water or land, this is a great location. Just a short walk from the Hollingsworth Boat Ramp which can act as a base from which to enjoy many areas nearby for fresh water swimming, paddling, boating or fishing via public parks and private outfitters. Close to Gilchrist Blue Springs and Ichetucknee State Parks, Rum Island Park, and Ginnie Springs Recreation Park. Birds especially love this area and the serenade from the treetops gets better each year with a wide variety of bird songs. Owls reside nearby and bats have also been known to fly in the sundowning sky! Make sure to bring a blanket for sitting around the campfire and stargazing if temps get into the 60s or below overnight. 1 night at Jewel’s Sink

This was such a peaceful camp spot. We really enjoyed our time here swimming and just taking in all gorgeous nature around us. Having the sink all to ourselves was such a treat. Especially after experiencing the chaos of Ginnie on a weekend, getting to swim alone here felt extra special. It was also giving me serious Mexican cenote vibes. Who knew there was a slice of Tulum right here in our backyards. It was truly a tropical paradise hidden in plain sight, we loved every moment.

We had a wonderfully relaxing time at Dunagan’s Meadow! The camping area was completely private and deep into the property, where traffic and neighborhood noises could not be heard. The camp site is clean and really beautiful - vast and lush with a meadow reminiscent of “The Sound Of Music.” The animals were friendly and we had the entire area all to ourselves! But what really made the experience special was Tom and Judy…they are amazing hosts - really attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely kind. This was our first experience tent camping together and they guided us through the set-up process, made us feel safe and comfortable, and even shared some of their future plans for a vacation home on the property…it will truly be a unique stay to experience once it’s completed! We highly recommend this site if you really want to get away from it all, be in a peaceful setting, and leave feeling rested, regenerated, and looking forward to your next visit. Thank you Tom and Judy for your warm welcome, hospitality, and care!

Our experience here was wonderful and relaxing. I hung a hammock in the shade and lounged to read. It was the perfect way to relax. The journey to the cave and sink was well worth the steep decent. The owner of the property led us to the site and led us to the path to the cave. Along the way she shared family history of the farm. We plan to return to this site!

This place is an absolute must stay in Ichetucknee. A private swim hole on the campground, gorgeous green and accommodating meadow to camp next to, tree cover over the tents. And not to mention the most gracious hosts, Judy and Tom. They were even kind enough to pop by and put covers over our tents when it rained unexpectedly while we were out. They clearly care for the land just as well as their guests. There were 9 of us here and we had a total blast. Thank you, Tom and Judy!

This campsite and experience was perfect! We booked super last minute on a holiday weekend and Judy was immediately responsive. We showed up after dark and Tom was kind enough to bring us to the camp site and point out animals along the way. The campsite itself was perfect. It was quiet and secluded which was exactly what we wanted. Tom even walked us down the trail to point out where the sinkhole was and told us the best times to go down so we could check it out the next day. We had a great stay and would love to come back!

It was such a beautiful place everything was so convenient meaning the river is right behind us so you can take your fishing out. If you wanna fish she had grills lots of hook ups for your RV water. It’s so super cute. I’ll definitely go back and I’ll definitely bring my friends as well and the springs most of all is so close by and it’s really cool place to explore and my favorite part is that you’re kind of off grid cause your phones in and out when it comes to reception which I absolutely loved

Beautiful spot on the Suwannee river. Our kids really enjoyed the stay and an easy paddle to Royal Springs. Royals springs is very stunning and just a lot of fun. Caught some cat fish off the dock. Plenty of space of the kids and dog to run around. Host was very responsive and helpful. Will definitely plan another trip back!

This was our second stay and for good reason. The site has everything you need. We appreciated the cover over the site with the heat wave coming through Florida at the time of our visit. We loved having our morning coffee sitting by the river and afternoon's at the nearby springs. My son still isn't giving up on trying to catch something in the river, but nothing yet. We will definitely be back!

2 nights at Jewel’s Sink

great piece of property! We enjoyed watching the deer , checking out the spiders and hanging by the sinkhole. We were here on 4th of July and got to see some fireworks too which was cool. The spiders are golden orb weavers and won’t bother you. If you’re lucky enough like us, we were able to see their golden silk strands. They are fascinating and are only by the sinkhole not where you camp. Don’t let the comment about the ants deter you.. while they were horrendous, the owner is aware and will take care of it :) the water was 80 degrees in July and a little debris from past storms, but that didn’t stop us from going in! It was surprisingly cool for the temp (we brought a thermometer because we like to cold plunge) anyway, we will definitely be back in the winter time !

Our second stay at Royal Springs and it was great. Had our canoe and it was difficult to get it in and out because the water was so low, but enjoyed floating down river and trolling up river. Spent some time at the springs and that was lovely. This is a special spot!
