Our property is 15 minutes South, from I75, 10 minutes from any restaurant or publix. We are a 2 mile drive down a dirt road, through the state forest. We offer 2-3 acres of a choose your own spot camping area. Located within the Picayune Strand State Forest, full of peace and quiet, and plenty of birds. We have a facility building that runs off a generator for running water. With that, we have a washroom, that consists of a large shower, and 2 bathroom stalls. we have then propane heated hot water for a nice hot shower. The sites are very " free range". Nothing that is too designated, so you have a free choice of where to pitch your tent, or park your camper van, or your RV. Come and stay within the Evergaldes in Naples, of SWFL. A special private place like no other. You may have the place all to yourself, or share with others. It is not populated like other campgrounds. The property is a designated farm, and we do have chickens. Day time check-in is 100% recommended. Please be sure to contact me for any and all questions you may have!

A wooded 1.25 acre cabin/camping site featuring a cozy modified A-frame cedar cabin. There are several areas on the cabin site for guests to utilize . The area immediately around the cabin (fenced to help keep curious wildlife at bay). A more isolated and remote area is located approximately 125 yards from the cabin area. Coyotes, Foxes, Bobcats, Raccoons, Armadillos and more have all been spotted and photographed on the property. Birdwatchers will enjoy Florida’s rich avian diversity, including Owls, Ospreys, Hawks, Falcons, and Eagles. Many water birds frequent the property’s small pond, though it is seasonal. Ideal for "day trippers". Just minutes away in any direction are Southwest Florida’s premier nature preserves, estuaries, sanctuaries, state and national parks. Delnor-Wiggins Pass and boat ramp access to the Gulf are 14 miles away. Audubon’s Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is 6 miles away. The CREW Wildlife and Environmental Area is 4.5 miles away. Everglades National Park is 10 miles away, and the Florida Panther Wildlife Management Area is 12 miles away. Note: We are located within the Collier "mosquito control district". This is a huge plus+ in the summer months.

Gorgeous, tucked away camping area. We had a great stay near the pond and were able to see two small alligators. Quiet and peaceful at night. Lots of beautiful birds during the day. We’d definitely stay again!

My wife and I were there for a few hours, unfortunately there was a brush fire that was a bit too close for comfort (wife is from Fire country out west). Amanda was very helpful getting info about the fire. Richard is onsite and is a hell of a nice guy, gave us some fruit and fishing advice about the pond on site. It’s remote and very quiet with some good fishing. Would recommend.

This place was awesome! Very unique off grid camping spot beside a lake full of fish and a baby gator. We tent camped here for 3 nights between the fruit trees and I wish we had stayed longer! Richard was kind and helpful and checked in on us a few times gifting us some fresh produce. Very cool spot for stargazing or birdwatching. If you love the real Florida in all it's glory you will love it here. The generator powered hot water for a shower and flushing toilets made it a luxurious camping spot as opposed to a primitive campsite. Chickens were really cute. Some people in their reviews complained about the rooster but if you are used to farm life it does not make any difference to hear the rooster crowing. Lots of wildlife to see and hear throughout the day and night. Very close to Big Cypress Forest and the Everglades both beautiful see them while you still can! Overall a great spot would love to come back in the future.

Finally a really QUIET place to pitch your tent. Make a fire, admire the stars, enjoy the birds. Beautiful central space. With kitchen. Plenty hot water. Limited electricity (generator), no drinking water. 4 miles dirt road to get there, so bring everything you need with you. Great place if you can live with the minor points mentioned. Recommended !

I sadly didn’t get to stay here, although we did see the site and it looked so lovely by the shady pond. The host had sent some vital check in information through a message on the app, but not included those details in the check in information. As we didn’t have much reception when traveling I had screenshot the check in instructions before she sent the other message. She was very kind to refund us and understanding to the mix up. I would attempt to stay here again when in the area and she said she would update the check in information so hopefully no future confusions. It is a bumpy 2 mile dirt road. Copy and paste the actual address instead of clicking on the app to bring up directions. That took us another 4 extra miles around our elbows on said bumpy road. Good luck and enjoy!

This is a nice quiet campground a little off the beaten path but still close location for exploring the surrounding big cypress and everglades. It is not a bad price for the area (naples camping/hotels are very expensive). We tent camped 3 nights here and next time would be interested to stay in the bungalow!

Plenty of options for setting up camp. The property was wonderfully serene in its setting. Have to turn on the generator before showering but the facilities in the building with the screen porch were excellent. It was a real pleasure meeting and talking to the gentleman host on site. Overall, it was an excellent overnight stay and I would definitely stay there again when we are in the area.

Has a great time camping here. Would highly recommend booking a tent site. We build a fire pit and cooked our meals on the open fire. We gathered firewood from the road outside the property. The lack of light pollution was wonderful. Got to see the stars and several planets. The property manager was wonderful. He gave us fresh fruit to snack on. The property is very close to Picayune Strand where we hiked the 5 mile figure 8. They have a generator to run the water for showering and lights in the kitchen and bathroom. But I really enjoyed trying to be completely off grid. I would definitely book this site again.

We really enjoyed our visit. Beautiful facility with full amenities, restroom, shower, grill, kitchen beside a pond with local critters to entertain. Amanda, Terry and Richard were gracious and welcoming with entertaining stories, history of the area and recommended nearby locations to visit. Nearby fruit stand great stop for local fresh product. If your a mountain bike enthusiast the near by limestone loop is awesome. Terry recommended it and explained it was planned to be one of the largest suburb east of the Mississippi River until the state bought it back to preserve the land. Had a blast riding for hours. Will plan to visit again, thanks for the hospitality.
