We have a nice little RV pad on the back of our coastal home. Situated on a little bayou that opens out into Choctawhatchee Bay. Crab Island is only a 10 minute boat ride away. You would have access to our small dock and there is a neighborhood boat ramp less than one hundred feet away. This is a great place for kayaks, wave runners, and small boats. If you don't have a boat, we can set up any kind of trip you want. We are all licensed captains and own multiple Crab Island businesses. So we can set up charters for you on the following boats: Sailing trip on a restored 1963 Pearson Ensign. Can accommodate up to 6 people. This is a classic sailboat that is easy to sail and easy to learn to sail. A restored 1966 Boston Whaler that is perfect for couples looking for a sunset cruise, etc. Can accommodate up to 6 people but it perfect for 2 -4. We can go to Crab Island, look for dolphins or find our own private island beach. Waverunner tours. We can take you on a guided wave runner tour looking for dolphins and private beaches. You will drive one wave runner while our licensed captain guided you on another one. Insurance does not allow us to rent these out solo but there are many good vendors in the area to do that. Inshore flats skiff targeting redfish and trout on light spinning gear and fly rods. This boat is best fished with no more than 3 people. Rates: $150 per hour for less than 3 hours $500 for half day (4 hours) $600 for 6 hours The neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Fort Walton with large oaks and magnolias providing plenty of shade for bike riding and walking. Downtown Fort Walton with its shops and quaint restaurants is only a mile away. Didn't bring a bike, we have 2 you can use. During the summer, there are fireworks every Wednesday night that are viewable from this spot. The site comes with water/sewer and 30 Amp hookup. The sight can accommodate up to 43' for trailer and vehicle.

You would have access to our small dock and there is a neighborhood boat ramp less than one hundred feet away. This is a great place for kayaks, wave runners, and small boats. If you don't have a boat, we can set up any kind of trip you want. We are all licensed captains and own multiple Crab Island businesses. So we can set up charters for you on the following boats: Sailing trip on a restored 1963 Pearson Ensign. Can accommodate up to 6 people. This is a classic sailboat that is easy to sail and easy to learn to sail. A restored 1966 Boston Whaler that is perfect for couples looking for a sunset cruise, etc. Can accommodate up to 6 people but it perfect for 2 -4. We can go to Crab Island, look for dolphins or find our own private island beach. Waverunner tours. We can take you on a guided wave runner tour looking for dolphins and private beaches. You will drive one wave runner while our licensed captain guided you on another one. Insurance does not allow us to rent these out solo but there are many good vendors in the area to do that. Inshore flats skiff targeting redfish and trout on light spinning gear and fly rods. This boat is best fished with no more than 3 people. Rates: $150 per hour for less than 3 hours $500 for half day (4 hours) $600 for 6 hours The neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Fort Walton with large oaks and magnolias providing plenty of shade for bike riding and walking. Downtown Fort Walton with its shops and quaint restaurants is only a mile away. Didn't bring a bike, we have 2 you can use. During the summer, there are fireworks every Wednesday night that are viewable from this spot. The site comes with water/sewer and 30 Amp hookup. The sight can accommodate up to 43' for trailer and vehicle.

Rae was a super host. Met us shortly after we set up and provided a booklet of things to do and eat in the area. Driveway is a little difficult to back into and sewer connection in under the camper but was a great place to spend the day/night. 30 amp electric worked great. I would not recommend for a large camper as our 26’ just fit. Would definitely stay again.

The campground was beautiful! The facilities were clean and all trail paths were trimmed with no debris! They had plenty of fire would for sale and a cart to use to carry your camping gear into your site! The bridge was a little tricky to maneuver with your cart but after a couple trips we figured out how to make it work with the cart! Fortunately, we were the only campers in the primitive and glamper tent site but the 5 glamper and primitive sites seem too close together and would maybe be too much if all are fully booked and especially with all the open land they have that could be used to spread the sites out a little more so people have more privacy. The hosts were great and very attentive! Will certainly go back again soon!!!

Also inquire about snowbirding or a possible work camp opportunity. Please plan on visiting and check out all the great things to do so close. On our farm we grow Christmas Tress, have 2 beautiful cypress ponds full of waterfowl and fish. Also there are green lanes and fields and if your lucky you can catch site or deer, turkeys, all sorts of birds maybe even a cute baby armadillo. In just over 45 minutes you can be playing on the beach in Panama City Beach, (world’s most beautiful beaches). Something a little different is just a few minutes away Falling Waters state park (Florida's tallest waterfall) and a swimming hole with walking trails. Speaking of swimming Ponce De Leon spring is big and beautiful clear blue hole spring to the west. Or go east to Marriana, about the same distance and you can visit Florida Caverns (Florida's only touring cave) with a beautiful spring with swimming, and hiking there too. We have guest also go to the Econfina Springs and canoe rental and spend a day floating the beautiful Ecofina River with 8 springs to visit on a days float. There are many State parks so close. If you want to go out to eat or socialize a local brewery and restaurants are very close and beautiful Alabama too! We are super easy to visit if you are coming from the north out of Dothan are on Interstate 10 we are just Located 1.4 miles North of Interstate right on Hwy 231. Easy access to the interstate, fuel and shopping. The farm is gated with a remote controlled gate for security. All our RV sites have full hook ups with 15, 30, and 50 amp connections, great clean water and sewer at each site. Also a dump station on the property. We are currently working on a bath house with laundry facilities will be ready by the fall of 23. a total of 4 sites on 100 acres (with a couple of more in the works with some tent site on the horizon too) you are sure to be able to find a quiet place. While the area is still recovering from the hurricane, the property is fully functional, and its charm remains intact. Amenities (shared with tenants and other RV guests): Guests can enjoy: A screened-in porch A spacious back deck shaded by a historic oak tree Ample private parking for vehicles and a boat (bring your own) A shared laundry room (2 free loads included with hookups; $5/load for extras) Site 1 has 50Amp Site 2 has 30 Amp Both sites have water available, shared via a Y connector at the faucet. The surrounding historic neighborhood is still undergoing restoration, and while some areas show signs of the hurricane, the home-like atmosphere of our property ensures a relaxing stay.
