The forest has hiking, primitive camping, kayaking, swimming ( in the Black Creek, a black colored waterway due to the natural tannins in the water) as well as hunting by permit. We have fruit trees and flowers on the property as well as a small flock of free range chickens. At times we have baby rabbits and meat chickens, which are enclosed. The wood shop is used for creation of various projects. Jacksonville is a short drive away offering various city type activities. If you drive a little further you can get to the ocean.
