We opened to the public on Labor Day 2014. Most people come to stay either in our rental cottage or in their horse trailers/RVs with their horses to ride the awesome trails in the 20,000+ acre adjacent Croom Forest. However, because our ranch is so peaceful, many stay here without horses just to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are many opportunities to recreate in the area, including outstanding mountain and road biking, OHVing, hiking, golfing, and canoeing/kayaking. Many full-time and working RVers stay for extended periods. Note that our camping area is small and intimate, so you will be close to other campers. We have 5 30-amp hookups, and 2 50-amp hookups; if you need 50-amp service, please request it. Note that a minimum of a 2-night stay will typically be required on weekends, especially during our busy season. WiFi is available, but we call it "Country WiFi" since it sometimes can be slow and may or may not be accessible from where you are parked; also, Verizon cell service in our area is terrible. If internet access is important to you, we suggest having your own hotspot or internet service (many working RVers have Starlink). Note that GPS can be very mean in our rural area; make sure your turn off Highway 50 is onto paved High Corner Road, which is 2 miles west of I-75 (if GPS tries to turn you down unpaved, dead-end roads, DO NOT LISTEN..you will get stuck!). If you don't have your own RV, you can rent one from Ray Day's RV Rentals (229-515-7008), which is literally around the corner.

Weekend Trip to Spotted Dance Ranch

We had such a great experience at the Spotted Dance Ranch. The owners we so friendly and helpful. John even helped my camper backing challenged hubs into our space. We got a tour of the horse barn and great suggestions for the area. Clean bathhouse. Everything was perfect! Will return yearly for sure. Check out the nearby Withlachookie Trail, 46 places miles. We brought our e-bikes!

Weekend Trip to Trenchgoat farm

Lovely farm and great RV layout! We booked 3 nights but only stayed 1 due to our dog. There are some sort of lil dingle berries all over the farm that were matted into our dogs fur. We literally pulled out hundreds of them numerous times. They are about the size of a peppercorn. I assume it is a grass seed of some sort. Great place just not for pets & dogs.

We thoroughly enjoyed ringing in the New Year at Spotted Dance Ranch! Kym & John were wonderful hosts. They have a lil slice of paradise to share and it is oh so peaceful. Excellent in town spot to set up. We stayed here for almost a full week as we were visiting family in Tarpon. Location was surprisingly quiet for being a neighborhood setting, easy access right off 19. Very level and the hook ups worked perfectly. The space accommodated our 20ft travel trailer and tow vehicle easily, courtyard area is perfect for lounging, drinking coffee or just enjoying the weather. Host was very responsive and provided an excellent welcome/instruction message prior to us getting there. Highly recommend this spot. We will be utilizing this space anytime we come into Tarpon. Thank you for a great experience! Also check out Queens Pizza and restaurant at the end of the street (2 minute walk). Great pizza and service.

We loved camping at Chuong’s land. Our travel trailer fitted perfectly with enough room to walk around comfortably. Location is super convenient. Only minutes away from the Sponges deck, Starbucks, Pharmacy, Publix., Panera! Quiet and Cozy. Access to the electricity, water and sewer super convenient as well. Place is so clean that it gives you a beach vibe. Loved it!

We can’t wait to go back to Spotted Dance Ranch! Kym approved us quickly and was very communicative regarding directions, offered info on nearest grocery, restaurants and more. (It was easy to get in and out thanks to following host directions vs gps.) John was super helpful and answered all of our questions upon arrival as well. Leveling and set up was a breeze. Everything was well maintained and cared for. Our dogs enjoyed stretching their legs on the property after our dog show. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere after a hectic day too. 1000% would stay again, but next time we hope to stay longer so we have time to meet the horses. Don’t hesitate if you are considering booking here. It’s a great place to stay! John & Kym are wonderful hosts with a lovely ranch.

Such a great spot! Clean, level gravel pad tucked behind a privacy fence with lots of room to spread out (not around the camper since it’s tight on the sides) and super cute seating areas with grill. We felt very safe and secluded even being a block away from a busy area. Host was very accommodating and quick to respond!

Great stay! The property is nice.. secure and private. The hosts were friendly. There was a family of owls and we got to see two of them. We utilized the picnic table, firepit and wood that was provided. A few miles down the road was a park to walk and bike. We enjoyed our weekend!
