There is now an outdoor kitchen for all guests to use. There is no cookware, silverware or dishes. There is a counter-top oven, toaster, 2 stove top burners, 1 flat top griddle, sink and keurig coffee maker. There are reusable k-cups for you to put your own coffee in, or your own k-cups. The property boasts 2000 feet of trails alongside the creek, perfect for hiking and exploring the natural surroundings. Kayak rentals are available for guests with appropriate vehicles, and fishing enthusiasts are welcome to cast their lines into the spring-fed creek. At The Wandering Path, nights come alive under a starlit sky, unblemished by city lights, making every evening perfect for a campfire. It’s more than just a stay; it’s an experience of tranquility, a chance to recharge amidst nature’s embrace. We look forward to becoming your go-to spot when you’re in need of recharging. There are well maintained walking/biking/hiking trails are on the property, with many shaded sections. Porta potty on site for our tent campers and boondockers, but coming soon - a bathroom house w/ flush toilet! Our Sites: Red Oak Nook has 50 AMP power and we have an available converter from 50 AMP to 30 AMP. Go Bull's Landing and Long Leaf Landing both have a 30 AMP power hookup. We also offer Cozy Camper at Long Leaf Landing for an amazing "glamping" experience with A/C, microwave, refrigerator, and RV bathroom & shower! We also have a primitive site and Boondocking site. FOB Pelican is a small peninsula surrounded by Little Pelican Bayou. We have an airstream camper rental which can accommodate 2 to 3 people. There’s also another shower and restroom within a few feet for larger showering space. The FOB has an air conditioned trolley car converted into a bar that overlooks the bayou. There’s a larger outdoor bar that also overlooks the bayou. We also have a small beach with canoes and kayaks. FOB Pelican also has a two bedroom, two bathroom house with front and back porches. The back porch overlooks the bayou as well. There’s feeders that attract numerous turtles and fish to watch at feeding times. The bayou leads out to the Blackwater River accessing downtown Milton river walk or go south into the bay and Pensacola. We have an RV electrical and water hookup as well.

Beautiful dock for fishing. Less than 2 miles to Dollar General for most of your needs, 4 miles to Bruce, Fl. Learn more about this land: Tent camping on the Choctawhatchee River. Two public boat launches right next to the property. The boat launch has a port-a-potty as do we. We have an outdoor shower that has instant hot water. We can accommodate boat parking on the property. We have a dock that you can tie your boat to but the water level is often not good for getting on and off the boat. I'm putting a road into the back so you can go in and out without to boat dock without crossing the road.. At present, you sometimes need a 4 wheel drive to get to the back of the property. For those of you who wish to boondock with your trailer or motorhome, we can accommodate at most times. There is a breakfast nook at the tiny house on the hill with a barbecue available.
