Primitive camping is permitted at designated wooded high grounds in the middle of the property. It is a 5 and 10-minute rugged hike in to the middle ground respectively. The trail remains under development, so please bring close-toed shoes or boots for hiking throughout the property (depending on rainfall, there may be mud and water).
We have two primitive campsites These campsites are first come first serve, they are not assigned when booking.
Our Glamper tent is a 10x12 canvas furnished full size bed with bedding, pillows and enough floor space for two sleeping bags.
The tents are located off a short trial, but rugged 2-minute hike from the parking area. We provide the opportunity to go camping without having to pack the tent.
Closed toed shoes are highly suggested as well as plenty of lighting with batteries or solar charging capability. This is a rugged, fun and serene camping experience.
Located less than 10 mins to Navarre Beach, - 30 mins to Pensacola Beach, - 15 mins to Naval Live Oaks, - 45 mins to Fort Pickens, - 50 mins to NAS Pensacola, - 45 mins to Santa Rosa Island, - 35 mins to Okaloosa Island, - 40 mins to Destin.

Come camp in the woods right off the Perdido River. There is a short walk to the cabin, either along boardwalks or via a trail, and we provide carts to make it easy. Across the floating bridge is a sandbar where you can hang out with other river rats and enjoy a cold one.
The Perdido River is known for great tubing and kayaking. We have tubes available to loan. A float from Fillingim’s Landing to our sandbar takes about four hours with stops. If you’re looking for an all-day adventure, you can put in at Barrineau Park Bridge.
We are 420-friendly, and if you want to enjoy a beer, we’ll probably join you. There is a large outdoor fire pit and grills available for use. I also have camping hammocks that can be set up for extra guests, as well as a camping toilet. All I ask is that you clean up after yourselves, bring all trash up front to the garbage cans, and keep the volume down by 10:00 p.m.

I camped here earlier this summer and came back for another visit! Easy to get to. Beautiful area. We went to several springs and this was a great hub. It was close to Morrison, Cypress, Ponce de Leon, Vortex, and Ecofina. Can’t say enough good things about Ronald’s place. It’s always clean and well taken care of. He is a fantastic, responsive host. I will definitely return!

This was a cozy, quiet river cabin. Very peaceful at night, but you do hear some activity on the river during the day. Nice sandbar to go sit and relax or cool off in the river. There were some challenges with the generator so if you’re visiting while it’s still warm, definitely recommend confirming it’s working ahead of time. I will definitely be returning for a future weekend escape. The owners, Tracie and Dave, were very friendly and helpful.

I took my 4 yr old son to the glamper again, we had a blast! It's such a beautiful place that makes camping incredibly simple and easy when you have a child. Especially when you have water easily accessible on the camp grounds.

We had an amazing stay glamping in the yurt! We traveled from Michigan and loved exploring the local area. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, even leaving us a bottle of wine and sparkling juice for the kids, which was such a thoughtful touch.
One thing we really appreciated was that firewood was provided and the yurt had so many basic essentials. It made packing so much easier because we didn't have to bring everything from home. The property is beautiful, especially all of the plants and greenery, and the outdoor shower was a unique and enjoyable feature.
We had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing glamping getaway!

Amanda was an excellent host and was gracious to help me get settled in. She was easily accessible for any needs that may have come up. She also reached out in advance to let me know when bad weather was coming. The campsite was gorgeous and the creek was cold. I will definitely be choosing this site again.

Absolutely gorgeous place they really thought of everything I believe! Ac is definitely a lil rockstar and the fan will blow you away no question about it you’ll be comfortable and cool with a great ambiance! The greenery during daylight hours and lit up under the moon it’s beautiful every time you see it! Wish we could have had more time! Will definitely return!

I had the perfect anniversary adventure! The private campsites, spotless bathhouse, and gorgeous water made it perfect for unplugging and just being together. It stormed, but the yurt stayed dry and the AC kept us cool. We’ will definitely be back. 🌿🏕️💙

My partner and I loved staying here! The site and host both exceeded any expectations. The cabin was clean and the AC worked wonderfully. The river access is super close to the cabin and beautiful. Tracie gave us a ride down to a tube launch and let us use her lanterns and supplies to make our stay more comfortable. It was very nice to be in a secluded spot in nature while also having access to support should we need it! We definitely plan on coming back sometime soon!

I had a great time with me and my animals. I enjoyed being in the cabin and near the river. I didn't have a vehicle and Tracy and Dave offered to bring me to the store and grab gas for the generator. Thank you for such a fun 10 day vacation and I appreciate spending my birthday with Tracy's beautiful family tubing on the river. I'd absolutely stay again.

The area was so much like the photos! What a laidback and beautiful property. The amenities were wonderful, and the nature all around is priceless.
Host was communicative and promptly answered all our inquiries. The area is private so we didn't see them during our stay but we felt the sense of hospitality in the details from the cards and guestbook. We have already started recommending this spot to our friends! Note: we arrived each night very late, and the road we entered through has little visibility, so just proceed with some caution and keep your eyes peeled! Thanks again and looking forward to our next visit.

We can't wait to go back. we stayed in the glamping tent in July and the ac and fans kept the tent nice and cool. We brought yoga mats to add cushion to the wood beds and it was perfect. The kids loved the nature trail. It is a beautiful, and well kept property...and it felt safe and peaceful. The Host is the best! He was so sweet to talk to the kids about all the plants and wildlife.
