I was blown away by the care put into this site! Has pretty much all you need, very clean, and the host is so responsive! The private feeling of the site, the grill and the hot tub really added to our little getaway! Super close drive to find some neat shark teeth too!

AMAZING PLACE. So quiet and well kept. We enjoyed every second, even the rain. We were at the Hideaway. Very secluded and private. The bathroom was pristine. Outside shower was hot and wonderful. The launch for our canoe was fine and the creek was serene and easy to paddle. Pet Friendly!!!! Only comment… Would be nice to have an optional wee light in the shower, maybe a mirror.

A very pleasant place, great for relaxing. The place is very well-equipped and clean. All spots have 110-volt power, extremely useful for charging phones and using some cooking equipment. Firewood is very cheap and delivered to your spot. It has a bathroom and a separate shower. It also has a very well-equipped cabin with everything you need and air conditioning. I will definitely return to this hipcamp.

4 nights at Magical Pond On Flitterbug Farm

Trina was a lovely host. The area around the pond is very Beautiful. I really enjoyed the beautiful trees and their hanging moss. The most the trees were like old souls on that property.! The host was so welcoming. I felt immediately safe and at home. The only difficulty I experienced was there does happen to be a rooster farm next-door and I am sensitive to the sounds of birds and captivity. Outside of that everything was lovely and did a great price. The host was so kind and gave me some amazing fresh eggs from her chickens when I left. I felt very safe being a solo female 🏕️camper on this property and would recommend it to others.

Camping at J&P Creekside Retreat was a wonderful experience! The campsites are very large and all have fire pits plus the outdoor shower is great with hot water. Hosts John and Patty are friendly and really make you feel welcome. The retreat is located on the Shell Creek and the entire place is truly a little piece of country paradise!

We had a wonderful two days camping. Our 4yr old loved the Zipline and farm animals. If you have an interest in foraging, homesteading, food forests etc this place is absolutely for you. Silver Bullet Stables is a gem! Our family of four had a wonderful time here. We loved seeing and petting all the animals. Everyone on the farm was so kind to show us around. The land was beautiful, we camped right next to the fire which was nice. Bonus that there was a lounge area with couches and old western shows playing, a bathroom/shower as well. My kids loved it all. We can’t wait to go back!

If you are looking for a full farm-to-table experience, Buckingham Farms is 20 minutes from us and is a 85-acre farm with fresh produce grown hydroponically! We are also about 20 minutes from 31 Produce/Cracker Shack Cafe which is a local U-Pick farm that has seasonal fruits/vegetables available, as well as a restaurant, farm animals, and "gem mining"! With just a 1 to 2-minute drive, we have two parks, Nalle Grade Park and Pop Ash Creek Preserve, for those who enjoy nature walks, fishing, or birding.
