Both she and her boyfriend are Native Floridians, and are more than happy to share local knowledge of their home town of Wabasso Beach. Marshall (your other host & Sophia’s other half) is an avid waterman. He is a Sailboat Captain, happy to take you cruising on the open sea or fishing for local catch, as well as a Master Carpenter with experience in plumbing, electric and mechanical handy work. He specializes in renovating small spaces such as sailboats and RVs with his attention to detail and meticulous woodwork, so you can leave not only rejuvenated, but renovated! Both of your hosts hope to give you the vacation experience of your dreams, and will support with any services they can, or by simply leaving you in peace.

Most site have water and pwr which is a plus. No issues with no see ums at all in late sept. I had a spot all the way in the back that was secluded and quiet. If you not use to train noise then take a sleeping pill there are trains that pass by at any hour and the horn is loud. Overall it's a great quiet location not to far from the beaches. To drive on the beach is 32 bucks for non-residents. Craig and his wife are real cool.

Weekend Trip to Surfer Beach And Tree Sanctuary

What a great place! First of all, you are just across the street from the beach and from a turtle sanctuary!! It’s one of the last spots on the Atlantic coast of Florida which is not overdeveloped. I hesitate to broadcast it too much as it is so special! John runs a small surf shop and a surf camp. So there’s a low key, cool business attached to the property (filled with great books to be loaned). The yurt is quite comfortable and has all the amenities you need. It’s very quiet and surrounded by jungle like foliage. I highly recommend this place. We will absolutely be back. My only suggestion is in summer note that they have mosquitoes. It’s manageable, but prepare in advance.

Great little spot in a wonderful beach RV condo community! The site is a concrete pad and level. Anthony was quick to respond to my messages & questions, even came to help with an issue with the lockbox that turned out to be my user error. The site has a bit of shade in early AM and late PM but not in the heat of the day so be prepared with a canopy. I only needed to use the 30amp connection and water but the site also had a sewage connection that appeared well maintained. There are several air conditioned bathroom buildings on site that were cleaned daily and in excellent condition. 3 beautiful pools and one hot tub. Beach access is locked and only for condo residents/guests so the beach is quiet and not crowded. The community is situated between the ocean and the Indian River so beautiful sunrises on the ocean and sunsets on the river. Everyone around the community was so friendly and inviting. Will definitely be back!
