Awesome and perfect!! My best friend and I wanted to see some music and not have to drive back to Winter Park, neither of us like getting a hotel room. This was the perfect alternative and wish we had more time to enjoy.

We were extremely thrilled to revisit Will and Jake and their campsite. As always the campsite was clean, inviting, and well maintained. Jake cooked for us again and the gourmet burgers did not disappoint. As the last campers of the season, we were pleased to relax in a pine tree haven. Doggie and I loved camping with the Jansmas. They were there to greet us coming in, and the tent and equipment were perfection. Extra bedding, lotion, candles, a solar shower and privvy, all were luxury. The dog so enjoyed being off leash all weekend. The highlight of our stay was the birthday dinner that Jake cooked on the final night, with a special creme brulee for dessert complete with candle. The coyotes (and the highway traffic) were a bit closer than I had realized they would be at times, but the rest of the time was quiet and beautiful. If you come, make sure to stop at Costello's Coffee House. We will be back!

What a wonderful experience. We spent my partner’s birthday out in nature after an exhausting summer and Will went above and beyond with this site.
It comes with all your camping basics (chairs, kitchen supplies, towels, extra blankets etc) so you don’t have to worry about packing too much. Will was there to greet us with Carrie, and we’re both so kind.
Will made us feel welcome at the campsite, showing us our amenities and a few walking paths. He was always within reach to answer any of our questions.
We decided since it was a special occasion, to have Jake cook for us- and I am GLAD we did! The best burger I’ve had in a long time, and it’s at our campsite. He even went and made a special dessert for us, and brought out a birthday candle and everything.
The stars are abundant, the views are amazing (even from the outhouse), and the energy of Camp Ka-Ne-Ga is everything we could have wanted for a peaceful mountain getaway.
We’re all excited to return soon.

We loved our stay. Will was a gracious host and the campsite had everything we needed. We stayed with our 2 kids (6 and 4) and there was plenty of room for 2 cots. Even with some rain, we had a blast hiking and visiting the wolf sanctuary. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed staying in Will’s beautiful tent. So many cute and special details were present, not to mention every need as a camper. All you need to bring is food and drinks. Everything else is perfectly arranged. And if you do not want to cool his son will cook for you! Even in the rain we had a lovely time. The spot is well positioned for local trails, fly fishing, and the newly reopened coffee shop less than a mile away.

We decided to spend our 16th anniversary on Will’s glamping spot and it didn’t disappoint. Surrounded by pine trees in a remote location we couldn’t ask for better and privacy. Will was a gracious host and most accommodating with the amenities. The site was built and designed with care for anyone looking to relax in a tranquil setting. We saw tons of birds, squirrels, and even deer. Also, we were delighted to have Jake cook for us on our anniversary day-he even accommodated us with surprise dessert. The food and service was spectacular! Overall, this was a great and relaxing experience and a highly recommended glamping spot. We will be back! Thank you!

Will’s not-so-little piece of land is incredible! A wonderful spot for our family and two dogs to unwind, soak up nature, stargaze, chop wood, explore, and enjoy life. We were impressed by all the amenities and it was clear no detail was left unconsidered. Will is a delightful human who is a joy to chat with. Jake’s dinner was delicious and I’d recommend that add on if it’s available for your trip here! I highly recommend this spot and I’m sure we will be back!

We had an amazing weekend camping at Will’s property. The site was completely secluded, which made it feel like our own private getaway. Our dog Miles loved having the freedom to roam and explore the land — it was perfect. As a cool bonus, Will’s son Jake came by the first night and cooked dinner for us as part of testing out ideas for his future catering business. The food was seriously phenomenal and made the night even better. Overall, the property was incredible, and they were amazing hosts — the whole family is just very warm and loving. Definitely would recommend it to a friend.

We had a great time on Will’s beautiful property! He was very accommodating and genuinely happy to host us on his land and ensure we had everything we needed to have fun! This place is very well thought out and we didn’t need to bring much - all the joys of camping without the work! The property is just as pictured- loved all the amenities and “camping” with a mattress is a must for us now! Our kids and dogs loved roaming the property, collecting wood, star gazing, s’mores making, roasting dinner over the open fire, hammock time and playing bags. Eleven Mile Canyon and fossil hunting at the quarry was a great days adventure. Fun for everyone 😃 thanks so much for hosting us and hope we can come visit again soon!

Our family had the most wonderful time at Will's campsite. Highlights were exploring the property with our dogs off-leash, the relaxing atmosphere, a clean restroom, and how comfortable the space was. We spent most of a day at Eleven Mile Canyon, which was only about 10 minutes away.

We had a great time staying at Will’s place. The tent was nice and cozy with a lot of extra blankets. The covered deck was a great addition, and the cooking area had everything we needed. We enjoyed our family time playing corn hole, sitting around the firepit, and walking the trail. Our dogs had a great time also exploring without a leash.
