2 nights at Wonderlust Off-Grid Camper
Beautiful space and environment! Just enough of everything you need. Moon rise was exceptional. Reservoir nearby was amazing! Spent most of our time outside which was nice. The heater was perfect!

Beautiful land in the country, wide open hillside with some nice trees as well. There wasn't anyone else to disturb us, and the sky was wide open to watch the stars at night. Wonderful host, definitely recommend.

We took a van to Lisa's farm and camped at site 2. Nice and flat. Peaceful and isolated with great views. Lisa was very accommodating with an unexpected late arrival and gave great directions to the site. Thanks!

Weekend Trip to Wonderlust Off-Grid Camper
Sooo quiet and be peaceful. Super dark at night. Great alternative to tent camping… the bed was very comfortable. It’s decorated really well. I would only recommend a solar shower and better toilet. But, hey, it’s camping. Great place.

Such a beautiful place, especially during sunrise and sunset! The sky and the mountains were stunning. The location to explore the reservoirs and pike national forest is perfect. It is as listed - sage brush field with a fire pit dug in the ground. Bring everything else!
Recommendations:
I highly recommend bringing some sort of shade structure because the area is very exposed and we wish we listened to their advice to do so! This area can get windy at golden hour but didn't blow anything away as long as it was staked in the ground. There are tiny little cactus so if you plan to sleep in a tent (highly recommend - the stars were beautiful!), bring a tarp to put under your tent foot print - that worked great for us. It was windy one night, so we slept in the car so having both options is ideal. It's a perfect spot for quiet mornings, adventuring out all day, and coming back in the evening for a lovely sunset and fire.
Location:
The location is a little tough to find, it is little beyond where the address drops you if you're coming from Hartsel. There are two small black solar lamps about a foot tall - that will be where you drive your car through into the field and then you'll eventually see the fire pit. There was a tall shovel in the ground next to the fire pit when we got there which helped indicate where to go.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Navi's Sage Run! It was very serene and gave us a much needed break from the real world! Alexander was an amazing host and made himself available if we needed anything. He also gave us some food recommendations. Our dogs also enjoyed the off leash action. We highly recommend this hipcamp location and we'll be back again!

Twisted Sister’s Farm is the perfect blend of peaceful seclusion and easy access to all the fun. I originally picked this spot for its location—it’s close to great dirt biking trails, fishing spots, and a place to do some target shooting.
As a Colorado native, one of my favorite things about camping has always been letting the dogs off-leash in your own little slice of wilderness. That freedom has become harder to find with traditional campsites getting more crowded and cramped. That’s exactly why we went with Hipcamp, and Twisted Sister’s did not disappoint.
The property gave us the space to breathe, play, and relax. Our dogs roamed freely (respectfully, of course), and we had enough distance from others to feel like we had the place to ourselves. The campsite was wonderfully level—even pulling in after dark, we had no trouble getting the camper set up.
The hosts were incredibly kind and quick to respond to messages. And their llamas? Total sweethearts—absolutely had to come over and say hello, which was a fun little bonus.
If you’re looking for a peaceful place to post up that’s just far enough from the crowds but still close to all the action, I highly recommend Twisted Sister’s Farm. Plus, the sunsets? Next level. Some of the best I’ve seen.

1 night at Wonderlust Off-Grid Camper
Charlene's property was such a great camping experience! Beautiful and peaceful land for a chill time with the family...and our dogs loved running around. The camper was clean and nicely appointed with everything from paper towels to games & coloring books and the trampoline is a fun touch. We would definitely stay again!

My pup and I had a great stay on Charlene's property. It was cool to watch the thunderstorm roll by. The trailer was as described, tidy, and easy to find. The swings are great! We did have a small fire, and appreciated the container, as it is always windy in South Park. There was extra propane, though we never found the Buddy heater. We just used blankets and were fine all night.
