We took advantage of late season warm weather and spent 2 nights at Rockridge. It did turn windy and cool but we enjoyed the solitude. Gorgeous view of Pikes Peak. I was able to walk my dog all over Carol’s horse pasture.
Note that the 3 campsites are fairly close together. Google maps took us right to Carols land - campsites are marked by short pink flags on the left side of her driveway once you have entered the property.

Weekend Trip to Monument Creek Glamping
Beautiful, comfortable accommodations and very genuine and helpful hosts. We had a wonderful anniversary trip and Monument is a wonderful area to visit and explore. Thank you for some wonderful memories.

Beautiful views and very peaceful. We had a great time at Carol’s property. It was perfect for a short getaway from home. Very close to many attractions yet far enough away to feel secluded. We loved seeing the cows and the gorgeous view of Pikes Peak. Thank you Carol for sharing your property with us!

We had a power issue, and the host responded very quickly. The location is close to many easy hikes. We were able to have a fire, the fire pit is great. While by the fire a deer walked through the yard.

We loved Crystal's property, The Bees Kneez, in Florissant. The location was awesome. Close to the market and liquor store on 24, where you can also fill up on propane if needed. Also nearby is the Library and adjacent park you can walk to. On Saturday they had a great farmer's market which offered a nice variety and great prices on local produce, meat, eggs, plants, etc. The location was quiet and conveniently located right off the highway. The RV spot is located in the backyard of her Airbnb house, so you are sharing the land it sits on, but we still felt like we had plenty of privacy. We were a little uncertain about pulling in when we got there, since there wasn't a direct pull-out, but we were able to easily backup our 40ft motorhome and drive back out of the driveway. So don't let the initial setup deter you from staying!! To be able to offer full hookups for the price offered and the location is a deal! Crystal was so hospitable and offered advice and insight on the area. We really enjoyed chatting with her when she was around. And don't miss the Thunderbird Inn! You can easily walk or ride your bike there, if you don't want to drive, and the French dip is a must have! They also have live music on the weekends and a great backyard hangout area. We highly recommend a stay at The Beez Kneez and hope to come back for a stay again next time we're in the area. Thanks Crystal!

We had some technical issues with hipcamp web site (me being a techtard) and didnt arrive till pretty late at night and carol was very polite and professional even at that late hour. It was so quiet and peaceful we over slept and were a little late to a appt. Would definately love to camp there again!💯👌

This is a beautiful location with a lovely view of Pikes Peak. Carol is very kind and is a wonderful host! There's a bit of vehicle noise from the road down below, but otherwise is quiet and relatively private.

Great spot if you’re visiting the fossil beds or Cripple Creek. It is in the backyard of an air bnb but it’s private enough. We saw some deer! The electrical hookup is 50 amp only. It’s about an hour round trip to Walmart if you don’t have a converter yet like us.

We enjoyed this spot! Space is shared with an AirBnb on the property. Proximity to the house was closer than we had imagined (there’s no photo to indicate) but true to the listing there was plenty of room for everyone. Hookups all worked great, and a family of elk visited both nights. The location is great, easy to drive to a bunch of locations, and the coffee shop and grocery store in town were awesome.

This was our first HipcCamp experience, and we were pleasantly surprised by this one. We didn’t know what to expect, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host that met up with us was friendly and helpful. The spot was perfectly sized for our rig which is a 30’ TT pulled by a full-sized 2500 truck. We even had space for my Subaru, which is what we use to explore. We didn’t take advantage of the picnic table or fire pit, but they were available and clean. You are situated behind a house, but have plenty of your own space, and we never felt crowded or uneasy. Much more room than the typical RV parks we stay with. There were 2-3 bars of 5G service with AT&T, and the area is gorgeous. Be careful to swing wide when pulling in the driveway so you are lined up better, as it’s a bit narrow, but I would say almost any rig could fit. We were able to sleep with our windows open and a/c off at night because the weather is so pleasant, and we prefer fresh air over a/c. Overall we enjoyed this HipCamp stay and plan to be back for a stay next time we are in this area. The Bees Kneez really was the bees knees!

What a fantastic camping spot! We LOVED this set up and brought our class C RV. So many amenities, clean, spacious, and a host who went the extra mile to make sure we knew what was going on in the area. We'll definitely return and appreciated the exceptional communication. Water hook up, electricity, wi fo! And close proximity to quaint spots in town. If you are looking for a close spot to Eleven Mile and don't want to squish in next to 40 other RVs, look no further.

Crystal was GREAT! We so enjoyed staying with her. The lot was spacious and all of the hookups worked great. She had a picnic table for us and let me pitch a tent in the yard too! Crystal herself was a very responsive, attentive host. She helped us out wherever she could and gave us recommendations on where to go and what to do during our stay with her! She also has two lovely pooches! There was a fire pit available for use. The location was perfect, my friend and I walked to the grocery store, for coffee, lunch, and dinner! There are two restaurants (one is a biker bar with live music and another with a beer garden and the BEST food.. homemade buns and everything!) and a precious coffee shop with the best coffee we had on our whole trip. All within a 5 minutes walk! Not only that, but the PRETTIEST sunsets. I really don’t have anything but lovely things to say.

We had a great trip great trip the weather was good even the storm the last night did not lessen the good time. When we needed a new tank of propane it was brought real quick. The stream was not good for fishing, but the beavers and geese were great to watch while I took in nature and let the stress from work go. Even my dog Abby enjoyed a short dip there. I have already told friends at work it’s a great place to go. Thanks again Chris and Wendy.

Carol was welcoming, communicative, kind and concerned (severe thunderstorms came through the area). We enjoyed the beautiful natural landscape and cute little creatures (a dragonfly came right up to me)! There are trees to park next to for shelter. We embraced the rain and the fresh after rain aroma in the air. It was a lovely trip!

Nice, level spot on driveway along quiet road. Stopped for the night after a Red Rocks concert. Pulled in late and left in the morning for a hike at Staunton State Park. Perfect for what we needed—a quiet, safe place to sleep!
