At some points durning the month the Milky way is wonderful. We may or may not have our sunflower field as well depending the time of the year. I widened the gate and moved my mailbox for easier access. Butane fire rings allowed on private property during a fire ban .
Camp anywhere on 60 acres. In one direction there are rolling meadow. Another rocky outcropping. Look to the south and you’ll see the BLM land that shares my fence line. If you want access to town you’re there. You choose how you want to feel. In the woods, in the forest, on huge rocks, flat land or turn around and see CR 1 ( 1/4 mile driveway). Forty five minutes west of Colorado Springs, ten miles to Divide for grocers. One half mile to ice, gas, pizza etc. It is first come first serve with the sites. Two that are near trees for large RVs. One up higher works for pull thru trailers. Plenty of room in the pasture. I just got my first negative review referring to it being dry prairie land. Some pictures are from late last summer.. We haven’t had enough rain yet for it to green up. Also it can be windy.

Golfers Driving range is great fun. Feel free to smack the provided golf balls into the abyss for max distance. Also the golf ball scavenger hunting in the canyon below can keep the kids busy for hours.
Truly a destination campsite, worth a few nights stay. This place is Sweet!!!

-No fires what so ever! Fire danger is extremely high in this area.
- Although we are only forty miles from the Sand Dunes park, it is a four hour drive to get there, so maybe not the best area to stay if the dunes are on your list.
- Days in the summer can get pretty hot and shade is hard to come by, so plan a day trip to Florence river park, (about 30 minutes drive)and hop in the Arkansas river and cool off.
- this is a wilderness area and all Colorado wildlife is present.

This place was absolutely amazing! Josh was very accommodating with our last minute booking. The campsite was clean and the bell tent with 2 cots and a futon was super comfy! The propane fire pit, hammock, table with an umbrella and driving range were a lovely addition and the view was absolutely spectacular. Truly an A++ glamping experience! Highly recommended!!!

We really enjoyed this campsite as it sits at the top of a bluff with amazing views and star gazing, it is a very quiet campground and the RV park close by was also very quiet. It has a nice clean bath house within a short walk. The campsite doesn't always have fire pits out, so you will want to check with the host if campfires are a possibility before you go. Host was responsive and helpful, and they provide a phone number for questions when you arrive at the site.

Incredible spot! Josh is very responsive. Propane fire pit at night. If you like hiking, there’s a great hiking trail on the property that takes you into the woods. Nothing beats the view where the tent is. I would recommend this spot to family and friends.

We absolutely loved this site. We had plenty of space, both inside the (incredibly weather-resistant) tent and throughout the site. While every know and then we would hear people at the other sites, we never saw them! Josh is super responsive and I'm grateful to have been able to explore his land a bit. This camp site was prepared very thoughtfully and it made the trip very comfortable! Beautiful country, private campsite, gorgeous view right from the tent. We had no neighbors but even if we did, they were far enough off I don't think we would have felt crowded. From the cots with pads on top to the chairs to the bear rattle in the cave. We felt very safe, the road to the property had a locked gate. Josh responded to messages quickly, he was professional and kind! Excellent experience!
