If you think you may have problems with any of these things PLEASE DON'T COME!!!

also have a dog named Sara that loves people. Most campers that come are very happy to have her around. She is polite and good with children. Some of you may not like dogs, if that is the case this will not be a fun experience for you.

Visitors can also see the Folsom Powerhouse (once called "the greatest operative electrical plant on the American continent"), which from 1885 to 1952 produced 11,000 volts of electricity for Sacramento residents.
For cyclists, there is a 32-mile long bicycle path at Beals Point that connects Folsom Lake with many Sacramento County parks before reaching Old Sacramento. The park also includes Lake Natoma, downstream from Folsom Lake, which is popular for crew races, sailing, kayaking and other aquatic sports.
At both locations, you will stay in 16ft deluxe tents. Each tent has 2 full beds in them.

The Forbes Island off-grid event venue and campground are at Bradford Island in the Sacramento River Delta. The floating barge is moored next to our private ranch, utilized for tent and RV camping for larger groups. We limit rentals to single groups for ultimate privacy in a natural setting. You and your guests enjoy the remote Sacramento River Delta wetlands while being only a short drive from the Bay Area. Guests have direct access to water sports and private docks.
*Note: Forbes Island requires passage via the Bradford Island car ferry (see schedule below), a personal watercraft, or a captained passenger ferry boat that must be booked in advance. Boat dock space is included.
History:
Forbes Thor Kiddoo came to San Francisco in 1959 after a stint in the Coast Guard. A carpenter and engineer, he developed a business constructing houseboats in Sausalito. Then, inspired by Jules Verne’s Captain Nemo and the movie version of “20,000 Leagues Under The Sea”, Forbes Kiddoo built himself an underwater home, complete with portholes for watching the fish swim past, a diving hatch and a grand bedroom suite fit for a captain of his private world. In the ’90s, Forbes added a 40-foot lighthouse and a white picket fence.
Today, a small group of committed friends has preserved and kept Forbes Island afloat for community events, opening it for all to experience and enjoy. Your rental helps us to maintain this totally unique, fabulous find into the future.

Are day campers included in the total guest count, or does it only apply to overnight guests? All campers, whether they are staying overnight or not, must be included in the reservation.

quiet dead-end road located on a cul-de-sac make for extremely peaceful parking and relaxing with near zero noise except for the occasional neighbors dog barking. our back yard hill butts up to back diamond regional mines park which is 50 square miles california state park that offers hiking and mine tours from California's coal mining and gold searching days. I recommend the mine tours especially on hot days. The mines are a nice place to escape the heat. tours are about $5 per person. here is a link to the mine tours website.

Boating is available on the San Joaquin River delta that is the headwaters of the San Francisco Bay. the marina and waterfront are about 3 Miles away by the way the crow flies and visible from the top of our backyard hillside.
Also downtown San Francisco can be accessed from the property via the Bart train that has two stations nearby. One is 6 miles away and another is 3 miles away. I bike/ train to San Francisco almost daily from this property.
EV parking or charging coud be accessed also. we have a nacs or tesla charger at two locations that are sloped down in grade. one slow charger (3 mph and one faster one about 13mph)

Stay on our working organic fruit and vegetable farm in a cozy 1960s trailer. Our spot is located just a mile from downtown Winters and 15 minutes from Lake Berryessa. You will have the run of the place while you're here -- 77 acres of orchards, vineyards and vegetable crops to explore and harvest depending on what's in season.
This is a working farm so you may not have the whole place to yourself (except on Sundays), but it's not hard to find a spot where you won't be disturbed to take a siesta or have a picnic. After four p.m., though, we (the owners) are the only others on the property, unless you include the local coyote pack. We have spectular sunsets and amazing dark skies for stargazing.
The trailer sleeps one person or a couple (Two person maximum). It has a tiny bathroom with toilet and shower, and a very small kitchen including fridge and freezer. It also has an AC and plenty of additional electricity. We have sheets and pillows but you bring your own towels. There's a grill outside.
Note: This is our home, and we live a stone's throw from the trailer. We both have full-time jobs. If you are looking for "curated" experience or high level of hospitality and service, this isn't it. If you are looking for a reasonably comfortable stay on an authentic, working organic farm less than an hour away from Sacto and the SF Bay, this may be a good fit. Our farm dog Jack LOVES people and will likely convince you to throw him the ball or stick. He has the run of the property and is not leashed or fenced in. He's very friendly and will be happy to go on a walk around the farm with you anytime.

Large pond, ducks, frogs and lots of birds and Rabbets. Wooded area makes you feel like your 100 miles away from everyone. All new floors and paint throughout, all new appliances. Wood provided for the wonderful fireplace. 15min to the Sacramento international Airport. Room to breath and de-stress

Great place for a getaway. They offer RV Parking/camping, tent camping and cottage homes. Plenty of fishing all around. Every spot has a picnic table, grill and fire pit.

Weekend Trip to Ria's Ranch, 5th Wheel
I really liked this Hipcamp! The RV was very spacious, comfortable and immaculate. The setting on the horse ranch was incredible - I got to see an 18 hour old colt and several beautiful full-grown horses. Lovely.

Ria's Ranch is an amazing place to camp! The 5th wheel is spacious and very comfortable, and the ranch was beautiful. The view was amazing at sunset, and there are horses, friendly dogs, and more animals to see. I definitely recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay. Maria, the owner, was lovely, welcoming, and made us feel at home right away.
The space we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and very clean, which made it easy to relax. What we enjoyed most, though, was the property itself and the horses. Spending time around them was the highlight of our stay.
The setting feels peaceful and removed from the city, yet it’s still very close and convenient to everything. It truly felt like a chance to step away and recharge.
We’re really grateful for the experience and would happily come back again.

Weekend Trip to Glamping Experiences Napa Valley
The Airstream was great. Very clean and had all the needed amenities. The site has a private patio with beautiful redwood trees right on Napa Creek. I would highly recommend the outdoor shower. David and Guy are great hosts.

A lovely secluded spot near Angels Camp. We had a great time just enjoying the peace and quiet while sitting around the campfire. If you really need some tranquility in your life I highly recommend spending a night or 2 here.

Weekend Trip to Sunrise & Sunset storybook Retreat
If you’re seeking a peaceful escape from a hectic work week, you’ve come to the right spot!
The views were absolutely stunning! The rolling green hills, serene lakes, horses, and the wildlife.
We had a blast on the tennis court! The sunset was simply breathtaking!
And one more thing, the hosts were incredibly kind and attentive! Such cool people!

I took my dog here for a night away as she doesn’t have much time left, and we spent the entire time sitting in front of the fireplace. I read to her. We listened to the rain, cuddled, and just really tried to be present though the hard stuff. The yurt had everything you need to enjoy a stay there. Comfy bed and while it did get cold, keeping the fire going for my dog was great while enjoying it from the comfy couch. The neighbor dogs did bark a lot from 9pm-1am. Other than that, we heard owls, and other birds and it was quiet. The outhouse was clean and the shower would have been nice, but with it raining so hard I didn’t try it. Very easy directions. Super beautiful area. Would love to return with friends when warmer to enjoy it in a different way. Very glad my dog and I got to experience the adventure together in a cozy spot.

We couldn’t have asked for a better first Hipcamp experience than Kat and Steve’s Fox’s Hideout. It was the perfect glamping getaway and a charming, peaceful escape from city life.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth. Kat and Steve made us feel less like guests and more like family. Their thoughtfully built property is clearly a labor of love and embodies everything you’d hope for in a family-run retreat.
Our kids had an absolute blast! Between the trampoline and the tree rope swing, the experience felt magical and wholesome—especially with petals gently falling from the trees as they played.
Do not skip the pastry add‑on! Kat and Steve previously owned a bakery, and waking up to generous, warm cherry turnovers, and other pastries was an incredible treat.
The accommodations were no frills but comfortable. Even the small details stood out, like their well water that tasted better than bottled.
Located close to San Francisco, Fox Hideout is an easy, worthwhile getaway, and we fully intend to return. Kat and Steve are wonderful hosts whose property reflects the true heart and pride they put into it. Highly recommended!
