A seasonal 2 acre pond. We are about 25mi from sequoia and Kings Canyon right off the Highway 180 and a close drive from restaurants, stores. Beautiful views. We strive to make sure you have an amazing experience in the outdoors. We are still working on making the campground 100% so sorry in advance but what we are lacking we will make up for it with making your experience memorable hope to meet everyone soon P.S I got 6 things ask you to do while you are here 1.Enjoy your time here 2. However, we are not far away and nature is wild and can be unpredictable sometimes, so please keep food in your car at night as a precaution. We have not had issues and we don't want to invite any! Hot showers, flushing toilets, deep sinks for washing and WIFI (over 70 mps in many places for you teleworkers) now available for all campers at no extra charge! ARRIVAL: THERE ARE 3 GATES HERE: RIGHT GATE: just to the right of the Giant Sequoia Tree with address sign, goes to the CAMPSITES! Look for ORANGE CONES a few feet off the highway and drive down camp road about 600 feet to the camp. MIDDLE GATE: RV1 and RV2 LEFT GATE: house, please DO NOT ENTER this gate or the house. DIRECTIONS: If you put our address in to navigation apps, sometimes it brings you to our neighbors (fire department) for some reason, even after multiple emails to google...if this happens come south/down hill about 600 feet and look for the ORANGE CONES on the same side of the road. Drive between them and down camp road to your site! (There is a pic of the site map in the posted pic's) Go to Google Maps (NOT GOOGLE SEARCH). Search for Sequoia Mountain Farms Campground. Navigator apps sometimes push folks coming from the south up the 245 highway. It is a very windy and slow climb up the hill. It is doable (even for bigger rigs), but we HIGHLY RECOMMEND continuing north on highway 99 towards Fresno and then heading east on highway 180 up the mountain. It's faster, much more scenic and a much smoother drive. This route also goes right by the nearest gas station on your way up! Heading east on highway 180, out of Fresno, the last gas station is a Valero at 35468 E Kings Canyon Rd. (aka Clingan's Junction). From Clingan's, head east on the 180 for exactly 13.8 miles to the 245 highway (it comes up quick with only 1 or 2 small signs), make a right, heading south. If you hit the park entrance, you went too far, turn around drive back about 5 min and look for the 245 on your left. Once on the 245 heading south, go 5.1 miles. On your right you will pass the 'Pinehurst Lodge', which is on google maps, an easy reference point and is 1 minute or less away (great food, bar, pool table and karaoke on weekends in the summer!). Then a few seconds later the U.S Forest Service "Work Center" is on the right and we are just past that on the same side of the road. First you will see a Giant Sequoia Tree in the front yard (campground road is just to it's right with ORANGE CONES on either side) then an apple ranch with an ole loggers cabin chimney from the late 1800s still standing in the front yard directly off the highway! If you hit the 'leaving sequoia national forest' sign and the community center, you went too far, turn around and drive 1 minute back and look for the apple ranch on your left, pass it and turn left at the ORANGE CONES. Please take note of the posted pics from directly across the street facing what you will see when you get here. PLEASE CHECK THE WEATHER: If you ask us about weather, were just going to have to look online too, so please be sure to check it yourself prior to your trip, before asking us to do it for you. Just know we are operating under the assumption that you are aware of the conditions and are prepared for them. If nature happens message us and we will do our best to assist! 1 night at Sierra Ranch - Cabins & Tents

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed staying at the Cottonwood cabin! It was a nice cozy space and the scenery was sooo beautiful! I got to enjoy my breakfast on a big rock by the river and it was the perfect way to start my day. The restrooms were really nice and well kept! Overall it was a super comfortable lodging experience.

1 night at Sierra Ranch - Cabins & Tents

It was a great experience coming here! A lot to do around and a good price for what you get. While the two story cabin was just two beds, the best part was the grounds that you get.

Very beautiful land and so thankful for the kitchen only advice is to drive before dark to ensure you don’t get lost but instructions are clear

We enjoyed the quiet camp ground as we were the only campers there. Nice to have water and sewer hook ups and flush toilets. Could use a little maintenance and cleaning. The location is good for the parks. Our 27 ft trailer worked ok in the space. It’s a camp ground no lodge.

We loved our time here. I recommend one of the group sites if you’ll be tent camping. More room for activities and some of them come with a covered area over the provided table. The bathrooms were clean and the sinks near the camping area was a nice plus!

This campground is in an amazing spot on your way down into Kings Canyon. It’s right off of the road near a “caution ice cream ahead” sign. We stayed in our RV and didn’t use any bathrooms, sinks or anything like that so I can’t speak to those, but it did the job, which was provided us somewhat close campsite to the Roads End lot & hiking area; I highly recommend the Mist Trail btw. Also, I would recommend the campsites that are across the street (same campground), I think it was sites 6-9. We walked over to check out the river, but didn’t want to get into anyone else’s campsite. Site 5 isn’t my favorite as it is right next to the road & I woke up to cars driving by. Only drawback were the trash cans. They weren’t animal/bear safe, and there was trash on the ground surrounding the trash cans, which we chalked up to animals in the area. I would recommend & stay again. Also, I appreciated the Wi-Fi in an area that has no cell signal.

Weekend Trip to Kings Canyon Campground

We had such a wonderful stay! This camping spot is perfect for couples — peaceful, private, and surrounded by water hook-up from all around the site. We loved being able to relax in our tent, enjoying the scenery. Toilets are nearby and made the stay even more comfortable. It would’ve been nice if there's shower rooms, but honestly, we’re not complaining — everything else was fantastic. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful place in a valley, sinks for washing dishes etc. Nice flat tent camping, clean bathrooms with sinks and mirrors. Tent camping across the street, big open space with right amount of trees. Great ride from the park entrance all the way in.

We had a great experience at Kings Canyon RV Resort! The instructions were clear, and the area was absolutely beautiful. The location was perfect, and we loved seeing the wildlife that came right up to our camper—it made the trip even more special. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be back!

Had the most amazing time! Close to the bathroom which was a great surprise as it looks like a port-a potty but is a clean flushable toilet. Site 9 is quiet and private and has an easy access to the River. The water was cool and refreshing after some long days hiking. Definitely a hidden gem and one I’ll be returning to.

Lovely quiet spot nestled in the canyon. Not convenient but definitely worth the winding drive. Nice bathroom facilities (no showers, but flushing toilets) and just the right size to keep things intimate and manageable. Really loved it. Thanks for the great location!

Weekend Trip to Camp Hye Sierra

Beautiful! Came after a rain storm and were the only people there. It was cold but felt amazing especially after closing in summer. Set up under the overhang and it was awesome. Nice and out of the way from everybody at the national parks. But it is still close enough to spend all day and explore both parks. Plenty to do and not too far from a gas station and some cool coffee spots. Will definitely be back again

Great little quiet campsite at the top of King’s Canyon. The host was friendly and informative. You can buy drinks, coffee, and ice cream at the stand there as well as gas which is very limited in the 2 parks.. Bathrooms were clean and sites had picnic tables and fire pits. I would definitely use this site again.

1 night at Dunlap Canyon Retreat

We arrived after 9pm due to a long day driving from Las Vegas and also visiting Sequoia National Park. When we pulled in, Spencer, the owner, greeted us warmly and escorted us to our tent site. We only stayed a single nite, and left early on our way to San Francisco, so we didn't explore the property. However, the place was very spacious and everything was as described in the listing. I would stay here again and wish Spencer much future success as he continues to build and share very laid back, peaceful, and happy place.
