So peaceful! I'd love to see it in spring when the almonds are blooming. All I could hear was cows mooing in the distance and one coyote howl. It was a great stopover for a couple nights. To find it, you turn right onto a small gravel drive off of Crocker. If you get to W. Undine you've gone too far. The pad is covered in largish chunks of recycled concrete. My car and little camper handled it fine, though. There is water, 30A & 50A power and sewer. Bring drinking water, because even with an inline filter the water came out rusty. If you get a chance, stop by the office and pick up some raw walnuts and excellent biscotti.

My wife and I stayed for about 4 months, we loved it. Jaqueline was very friendly and they have the best pecans and walnuts that you can purchase! The only problem was the rocks and our pets feet. But we worked around that and they eventually got use to it. Water and electric hookups came in handy. I hope to stay again!

A wonderful camping experience with two other couples and our three dogs. The sites are very spacious, with great tree coverage to provide some much needed shade from the summer sun. The facilities were top notch - clean toilets and hot showers! Francis greeted us on arrival and he made us very welcome over some wine tasting - the wines were super - we especially liked the Baby Doll rose and The Stray cab (we returned every day for more!). We also enjoyed playing Bocce amongst the vines! We had the added benefit of being there for one of Francis’ summer concert series where we enjoyed drinking more wine and dancing the night away to California Creedence. A fantastic long weekend and we’re already planning a return visit in the Fall. Thank you Francis and the Prospect 772 team.

Great place to camp. Francis has everything amazingly set up. Bathrooms are the best ones we found on our 14 day road trip around the national parks, including public and private campgrounds. The spots are good and it is a quiet place at night, since the small road next to the ranch barely has any traffic at all. Francis was kind and helpful and there if we needed something.

We absolutely loved this campsite. Francis was so accommodating and welcoming! We stayed for two nights on a little getaway with our Australian shepherd and we had a blast. There are lots of flat areas to set up camp, and the bathrooms/showers were extremely clean and well kept. We popped into the winery twice for a glass of wine and the wine was also amazing — we left with a few bottles! The wildlife was also so close by. We saw deer, cows, jackrabbits and all sorts of birds. We can’t wait to come back for another season to experience it then.

we stayed for 2 nights with our dogs and really enjoyed it! the vibe was super chill! great spot for couples looking to unwind. the bathrooms were a pleasure to use: super clean and always stocked with TP and hand soap (seriously appreciated that!).
only heads-up is there were quite a few dried burr weeds that got stuck in our dogs’ fur, which was a bit of a pain to deal with. 🥲
but overall, awesome stay—thanks so much for having us! ♥️

Especially beautiful, peaceful and safe, and impressively accommodating property and campsites. Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Shade trees were especially welcomed during hot July weather. Well kept and clean. I’ll go back again and again.

I couldn't ask for more! My husband and I had an incredible experience at the winery during our birthday week! We stayed for 9 days! It's super quiet, spacious, and the staff is so helpful and friendly! Francis, Amy, and Cindy were super attentive and helpful. Wine tasting from Thursday to Sunday makes a total difference. We loved to try their unique wine, and, of course, we had to buy a bottle to celebrate our birthdays! Being able to camp and have a hot shower right there at any time for us was awesome! We loved to watch the wild turkeys around, and it was great to see the vineyard up close. We highly recommend this place if you wanna bring your tent or even your RV. We had awesome neighbors in their RVs, too, who enriched our experience even more. The stay was better than the crowded parks during the summer! They have land to accommodate us comfortably!
I also have to mention how central the location is. The Calaveras Big Trees State Park is just 40 minutes from the winery, with the big sequoias to admire, stunning views of the forest, and a river to swim. Also, you can learn a little bit about the history of the gold rush in California at the small towns of Calaveras County, all within a couple of miles of the vineyard. We also visit Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. A little bit farther, but also possible to access it if you have more time in the region! Amazing trails, for hiking or mountain biking, with lakes of easy access too. Oh! We paddleboard too! You won't regret it!

We had an amazing 3-day, 2-night stay.
The bathrooms and showers were spotless, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier.
The campground was clean and peaceful — perfect for relaxing.
There’s also a small town nearby, which made it super convenient to grab food and other essentials.
We’d definitely love to come back again.

My opinion, we had the best camp spot. Behind the main building a romantic, shaded, flat, beautiful spot for smaller vehicles. After scouting our spot and setting up we decided to do a little wine tasting. Amy and Cindy were great conversationalists. We had a great time and added some Prospect 772 to our wine collection. Took a little loop hike around the property, which has a bocci court as well. The bathrooms are a really nice bougie touch, making camping feel like glamping. The place was quiet even with several campsites occupied. We really enjoyed our visit and would book again. Thank you Francis for sharing your property and being super responsive.

It was beautiful! Feeling of s serenity...except waking us with the turkeys outside our camper...which was delightful. Amy was with our tasting. She was welcoming and friendly.

Had a great stay and the weather couldn't have been better. We setup camp near the tree line across from the winery, had lunch, and stopped by for a wine tasting. The property was quiet and Francis was a great host. Will definitely come back again.

Small but quaint winery with a great host! From wine-tasting to the short hikes and of course, camping - Prospect 772 is quite the perfect weekend getaway! Their restrooms and bathrooms were super CLEAN which was a bonus. 😬
Francis (the owner) and his staff were very attentive and accommodating. As a matter of fact, we are already planning our return trip!
