You also have access to the outdoor picnic area under the fig tree which has a BBQ, picnic table and sink for rinsing dishes. There is no indoor shower, but we do have a rustic outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Tent space We have a small orchard in front of the Nopal Studio. There is room for two tent sites. No camp fires are allowed in the orchard. If it is winter time, we do have a fire ring in the fig tree picnic area, as well as a propane BBQ. The bathroom is shared with the cabins. We have farm animals and dogs which can be loud. The dogs chase squirrels and bark maniacally, and the ducks quack at sunrise, like, lots! There are also spiders, wasps, bees, rattlesnakes etc!! Has a full kitchen, refrigerator, stove and access to washer and dryer. En suite bathroom features a clawfoot tub. TV and DVD player, internet access. Cabin 1 Features a full size bed and a twin size bed. Perfect for parents with one or two children. Cabin 2 Features a queen size bed and small loft. (Very small, but we have had teens sleep up there because it was fun!) Both cabins have a small plug in heater, and a window AC for the hot hours. Wifi reception is limited. The cabins have a indoor/outdoor bathroom with a sink and toilet and a small kitchenette featuring coffee and tea setup, hotplate and mini fridge. You also have access to the outdoor picnic area under the fig tree which has a BBQ, picnic table and sink for rinsing dishes. There is no indoor shower, but we do have a rustic outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Tent space We have a small orchard in front of the Nopal Studio. There is room for two tent sites. No camp fires are allowed in the orchard. If it is winter time, we do have a fire ring in the fig tree picnic area, as well as a propane BBQ. The bathroom is shared with the cabins. We have farm animals and dogs which can be loud. The dogs chase squirrels and bark maniacally, and the ducks quack at sunrise, like, lots! There are also spiders, wasps, bees, rattlesnakes etc!! Please be aware, this is the country!

We had the pleasure of spending 2 nights in the Lotus Belle yurt and 1 in the Hemp house. Both were amazing experiences. There’s such a calming atmosphere across the entire property and the owner is very kind and accommodating if needed. Grills work great, pool was clean and views were amazing. 10/10 recommend.

Serene Scenery ✅ Tranquility ✅ Clean Space ✅ Well Equipped Cabin ✅ Friendly & Gracious Host✅ Adorable Dog✅ Unforgettable Experience ✅ Everything I wanted for a much needed peaceful getaway was met. The vineyard is as it was described and more. Amazing backdrop to an adorable and quaint little home. The window on the top overlooking the vineyard made sunrises and sunsets really special. A beautiful vineyard and little gazebo you can tell lots of life was put into this place. Ceviche the dog was so sweet and gentle. Marek was especially friendly and attentive. Great conversations with him. Checked in on me once a day to make sure all was well. PRO: no mosquitoes! I was so happy to bring my own hammock and placed it under the big tree and loved picking some grapes hanging all over the big tree! What an amazing first Hipcamp experience. So many great locations I was looking into but something about that tiny home and pictures of the vineyard really called out to me and I am SOOOO happy I chose this place. It will be hard to choose other places for my next trip. I know I will be back.

My partner and I stayed in Marek's tiny home and couldn't have had a better experience. We soaked in the hot tub, strolled around the ranch, and grilled in the evening. Also, the tiny home has a great view from the loft, we woke up to stunning sunrises both mornings we were at the ranch! The landscapes were stunning, and super fun to paint. Marek was great company, and we enjoyed chatting with him and learning more about his ranch and adventures. To top it off, his dog Ceviche is the sweetest :)

2 nights at Golden Rocks Permaculture Farm

AMAZING!!!! I feel reenergized and could not be any happier. An experience that was a mix of relaxation, pampering and also educational. The farm is peaceful with beautiful Mountain Views, lush gardens and the most gorgeous night starry skies. I stayed in the Art studio. Which was super cozy, with a comfortable bed and a great little walkout porch, to enjoy both my morning tea and stargazing. Taking full advantage of all the possible add ons, that the host offered. I ate delicious farm to fork meals, had the best massage of my life and went on a very informative herb/garden tour. And as if it couldn’t get any better, my visit coincided with a natural building workshop on the farm. This experience made me realize the importance of good food, self care and quiet reflection time. I left Golden Rocks not only with fond memories, but with several farm made purchases. Such as fresh veggies, herbal tinctures and lovely teas. I could go on and on, but I think my point is made. I 150% recommend this stay and hope many others too have the privilege. Thank you Brenda and I will be back for sure!!!

I just loved staying in The Tiny House. Both it and the cottage close by were really well appointed and well maintained. I spent a most restful and serene few days relaxing in the breeze by the green, berry-laden vines. So peaceful! Serene, beautiful dome on a west facing slope in the hills. Had a peaceful stay with my dog. Even though it was hot, Eli took care to provide fans, and it cooled down substantially at night. There’s an adorable full kitchen and clawfoot tub. The views are incredible!

What a lovely place, lovely host, lovely dog-host. Off grid, remote but close enough to the world, and the Dome itself is awesome. I could go on and use more superlatives but it's exactly what you want, just book it. we had our 10 year old, and our 2 dogs, who all truly enjoyed themselves (10 year old unplugged).

Weekend Trip to Golden Rocks Permaculture Farm

Brenda was absolutely amazing—so sweet and accommodating. I felt at home the moment I arrived on her breathtaking farm. The land offers million-dollar views, and the balcony of the art studio overlooks a serene valley, with neighboring horses, goats in the distance, and mountains all around. At night, the sky is incredible for stargazing right from the deck. Brenda also offers a $12 farm breakfast, which I sadly missed—but I highly recommend taking advantage of it. The farm cats were adorable and so friendly. The art studio itself was clean, cozy, and incredibly comfortable, with a kitchenette, fridge, and AC. Waking up to views of horses and mountains from the kitchen was magical. As someone who studied sustainable environmental design, I appreciated the creativity and function of the compost toilet—it felt like the Wild West meets eco-innovation. Brenda’s other handmade structures, built from recycled materials, look like charming adobe cottages. It’s also just a short hop to Harbin Hot Springs. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful stay with a kitchen and stunning views, this is it. The moonlight across the farm was pure magic. I loved walking under the stars, listening to the night sounds, and greeting the horses. I’m 100% coming back. Please book with Brenda—she’s truly lovely, and you will absolutely enjoy your stay. It’s a peaceful, magical place you won’t want to leave.

The guesthouse is a nice little unit with all the needed amenities. The farm is lovely and quaint with animals to interact with. But the really nice touch was the host who constantly ensured we had everything we needed and provided recommendations to nearby attractions. Will definitely be back!
