Sites are spread around on the east side of the property facing the river for beautiful river views while you sip coffee from your site. There are a multitude of recreation opportunities to enjoy.
On site there is hiking, places to practice yoga or meditate, kayaking, paddle boarding. We also have a hammock veranda that is fully shaded and a great place to relax along the river. Miles of biking paths run on the road right by where we are situated and there is a nearby river rafting company if you want the white water experience.
Most of our campers are road tripping, getting away from LA, or are looking for a stopover on their way to/from Yosemite, Sequoia, Joshua Tree, etc. We are in a desert climate – cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Portable heaters or fans with misting options are available for rent.

You will encounter lots of varieties of birds, crickets, scorpions, moths, lizards, critters, deer, bears, and even snakes. Do not leave any food in your vehicle or outdoor areas, always keep your vehicle closed. Please attend to your children and do not allow them to wander, there could be poison oak on the deep part of our property. We have giant boulders that are fun to climb on, but it is also a risk of falls as some are steep.

Our main house is one of two cabins in our almost 1 acre lot. You will have the main cabin (a little over 1000 sqft) to yourself. The tiny house on the front driveway entrance is ONLY available if you booked it together with the main cabin. ( see separate listing ) Homes are NOT rented seperately to different Families. Property will always remain private for your group.
You will get access to everything else in the property (except the tiny cabin, wood bridge between property lines to our neighbor and a locked closet in the bedroom for our storage).
You will check yourself in with a unique door code sent out to you prior to your arrival. Please take note of the code in case you don’t have signal before getting to our Wi-Fi.

UPDATED summer 2024: Being a true tongue and groove cabin with almost 20 foot ceilings, and having huge windows to maximize amazing views, our upstairs lofted bedroom does get warmer than most areas of the cabin. It does come with some level of noise, you may use/adjust it to better suit your needs.

Okihi is approximately 15 minutes east of Downtown Bakersfield. 20 minutes away from the 99 hwy or 178 hwy. Whichever way you are traveling, we are a great stopover point.
Sites are spread around on the east side of the property facing the river for beautiful river views while you sip coffee from your site. There are a multitude of recreation opportunities to enjoy.
On site there is hiking, places to practice yoga or meditate, kayaking, paddle boarding. We also have a hammock veranda that is fully shaded and a great place to relax along the river. Miles of biking paths run on the road right by where we are situated and there is a nearby river rafting company if you want the white water experience.
Most of our campers are road tripping, getting away from LA, or are looking for a stopover on their way to/from Yosemite, Sequoia, Joshua Tree, etc. We are in a desert climate – cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Portable heaters or fans with misting options are available for rent.

Do not leave any food in your vehicle or outdoor areas, always keep your vehicle closed. Please attend to your children and do not allow them to wander, there could be poison oak on the deep part of our property. We have giant boulders that are fun to climb on, but it is also a risk of falls as some are steep.

Our main house is one of two cabins in our almost 1 acre lot. You will have the main cabin (a little over 1000 sqft) to yourself. The tiny house on the front driveway entrance is ONLY available if you booked it together with the main cabin. ( see separate listing ) Homes are NOT rented seperately to different Families. Property will always remain private for your group.
You will get access to everything else in the property (except the tiny cabin, wood bridge between property lines to our neighbor and a locked closet in the bedroom for our storage).
You will check yourself in with a unique door code sent out to you prior to your arrival. Please take note of the code in case you don’t have signal before getting to our Wi-Fi.
It is the guest’s responsibility to check park status prior to booking their trip. We have no control over park closures and are an independent listing from the park.

UPDATED summer 2024: Being a true tongue and groove cabin with almost 20 foot ceilings, and having huge windows to maximize amazing views, our upstairs lofted bedroom does get warmer than most areas of the cabin. We recently added a portable AC and fan this summer to help with an already working mini split so you can have the option to use any of these items. It does come with some level of noise, you may use/adjust it to better suit your needs.

Staying at Samir's RV was super simple & easy! The beds were comfy, shower & kitchen were adequate, and the fireplace was a really cool addition. I especially appreciated being close to the Sequoia National Park entrance! There wasn't very stable wifi/service in the RV, but that was absolutely fine with me. I enjoyed being relatively off the grid for a couple days. Check-in & check-out for my stay were contactless so we never actually met, but Samir was awesomely accommodating & refunded my unused sauna session add-ons after check-out. Thanks!

Weekend Trip to Delilah Ridge Winery
This was my second time staying at Delilah Ridge Winery, and me and my partner love stopping here so much! It’s a lovely stop for us when driving from SoCal to Sacramento, and is very close to Kings Canyon/Sequoia NPs. Such a beautiful spot!

Loved spending the night here with a couple friends! It’s a perfect, cozy spot to spend a night or two while exploring the national parks and local mountains. If you’re looking for something easier than camping or setting up your own campsite, but still has the feel of being outdoors, this is it! The heater works great, water gets hot (wifi does not reach the trailer however, and cell reception ranges from decent to absolutely nonexistent- but if you really need to use a phone, the wifi works great closer to the house). The coffee was such a perk in the morning! Thanks so much!

Absolutely loved Diamond Acres, in particular the Stargazing Tent. The views were gorgeous (we saw the Milky Way!) and the site itself was set up great. Even though it was 38 degrees F overnight, we were cozy. Just wonderful.

A perfect five-star stay! The combination of the incredibly gracious hosts, Joe and Kim, and the unbeatable proximity to Sequoia National Park makes this lodging a must-book. It was the perfect basecamp for exploring the park's famous trails and towering, ancient trees. We especially appreciated the easy access to nearby dining establishments and the fun, nostalgic candy shop—it added a unique and sweet touch to our entire trip!

Great place to stay! Samir was prompt with replies. His place was just as described. Very well stocked. The bed was comfortable, had an extra topper for cushion. Super close to Sewuioa/Kings.

Weekend Trip to 3R Ranch Retreat
My stay in Three Rivers was absolutely wonderful! The place was super clean, cozy, and very well taken care of. I spent two amazing nights there — it’s peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the perfect spot to relax and recharge. Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures (or even better!). Weekend Trip to Kernville Ranch
Great location off the beaten path. Nice and quiet, with lots of critters to gawk at, domesticated and wild. Deer wandered by while we soaked in the hot tub watching horses, and at night we were serenaded by nearby coyotes. The property has lots of character itself and is near enough to Kernville proper to go out for a hot meal, browse its shops, or hunt-down Quartzburg ghost town (which I strongly recommend!).
