Weekend Trip to Gaia Farm Campground
I'm so lucky I found Gaia farms - the location is stunningly beautiful, the accommodations were cozy, Amanda was generous, friendly, kind, and I got to hold a baby goat! It was truly a special experience. I cannot recommend a visit enough and hope for the chance to return. We stayed in the yurt, enjoying privacy, quiet, comfort, and VIEWS! The pictures can't even capture how gorgeous the views were. We watched the sun set pink over the mountains and ocean, saw shooting stars all night, and then the clouds settled below us at dawn. It was perfect. Thank you for sharing this place with us, Amanda. <3

We had a small group come up to Nathan's ranch for my sister's birthday, and we rented out two of the glamping sites. We had so much fun, and it was awesome being away from the city with such amazing views. Seriously, the mountains were insane, and I don't think I've ever seen the Milky Way so clearly. Nathan was lovely, as are the animals—everyone should do the petting zoo. Definitely bring your earplugs if you're in Pink Pony #1 (the rooster is an early riser!) We'll be back for sure :)

We had such a great stay at Harmony’s Glamping! It’s incredible that you can feel completely tucked away in nature while being just 20 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara. The property is beautiful — surrounded by trees, with a creek running alongside the sites — and the yurts (we stayed in the Luxury Yurt + Creekside Fairy Dome) struck a perfect balance between comfort and adventure.
Harmony was an excellent host and made sure we felt well-prepared before arriving, especially with helpful notes about the drive in and things to bring. Definitely make sure you bring pots/pan and foil for cooking, and headlamps for light. Harmony had alot of the other essentials there for us such was, silverware, soap, sponge, shampoo, lighter, instant coffee, and paper towels.
This spot is ideal for anyone looking for an easy, nature-filled getaway without going too far off the grid. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about when we could come back!

Harmony was very accommodating and even allowed for an upgrade to a different site. The drive down to the site is a little sketchy, but well worth it. We had the entire site to ourselves and was one of our best experiences camping/glamping ever. The dip in the water was refreshing and the nights were peaceful. We didn’t make it to the waterfall because of small dogs, but it didn’t bring our experience down. The ping pong and freezbie golf was a high light as well.

Weekend Trip to Harmony's Glamping
We enjoyed our stay at Harmony's Glamping. Harmony was very responsive online whenever I had questions and she was warm and friendly in person. The site at the Luxury Yurt was very attractive and the kitchen had everything we expected. The Yurt itself was very comfortable, pretty, and well-furnished. We enjoyed showering outside on the hill. Though the site had enough visual privacy, there was a lot of noise from the other sites. I imagine this could vary a lot depending on the other guests.
The hike to the waterfall is short and the creek crossings and boulder hopping make it pretty fun. It's easier on the way back to see which way you're supposed to go. The waterfall and swimming hole is very nice and worth spending the whole day at.
The drive down into the camp is very bumpy with sharp turns - a few spots would be tricky in a car with low clearance.
The one downside about the camp for me (besides noise from the other sites) was the port-a-potties, which are obviously never a pleasant experience. These ones are at least kept clean, but a compost toilet or fancy port-a-potty with a flush toilet bowl would have been much nicer.

The animals were adorable and sweet. The food and products available for purchase were high quality. And Amanda was a spectacular host. We stayed in the yurt and we absolutely loved it! The campground itself had plenty of things to do for all ages. The waterfall trail is a must! Harmony and her boyfriend were super helpful and even sent us a recommended packing list. This along with the maps, pdf guide & equipped campsite made the trip so much more easy to plan and relaxing. We booked during the week, lucked out and got to enjoy the entire campsite to ourselves! We will definitely be coming back but with friends this time. The whole property is fantastic. We stayed in the yurt and pretty much had the entire camp to ourselves.
One thing to note: bring some extra light with you. Harmony stocks the place with lanterns, and there are solar-powered string lights, but the location limits their charge somewhat, and their run time is a bit short.

What a beautiful spot! Pretty incredible how secluded you can feel, just 20 minutes outside of town. My husband and I booked the yurt for three nights to rest and unplug. When we got there (and lugged our belongings to the yurt), we found it dirty with no bedding. I messaged harmony who quickly gave me a call to let me know she has upgraded us to the dome by the river. The space was awesome- decorated very nice, a private hot shower and best of all, right on the river with a hammock over the water where I spent several hours reading and listening to the sound of the water. There was no one else on the property so we had the place to ourselves!
Things I would have liked to have known beforehand:
- while we read the warnings about the road, we made it just fine in our Prius. Just go slow and you’ll be fine.
-there were no kitchen supplies in the yurt or the fairy dome (contrary to what the listing said) so make sure you bring pots, pans, oil, salt, pepper, plates, cups and silverware.
-the toilets are port-o-potties they haven’t been emptied in a looooong time.
-there are lots of critters! While unpacking we found a baby rattlesnake which made me fearful to let our dogs out of my sight! There were lots of (giant) spiders in the fairy dome and there were big mice running around the camp at night so make sure you bring everything inside. It is camping, after all!
- we weren’t able to get all the way to the waterfall with our three legged dog but the walk was beautiful.

This is a review for the Creekside Fairy Dome where we ended up staying. Harmony and her team are very friendly and accommodating! We were upgraded to stay at the fairy dome and it was AMAZING!! Our 8 year old daughter played in the creek all day! Very family friendly camp site. Clean dome room with very comfortable bed. Warm shower on site was very nice! We also splurged to do two nights with the wood fire hot tub…. Such a wonderful experience! A little bit of a harrowing drive down to the parking lot, but it was all awesomeness after Harmony let us into our Fairy Dome site! Thank you so much for the memories, and we are sure we will be coming back in the future!
