1 night at Our Desert Domestead
The dome was such a fun experience! The bed was really comfortable, a nice selection of amenities yet still felt like you were “roughing it” a bit with the wholistic setup. We were greater as soon as we arrived and got a quick tutorial which was appreciated after a long drive and arriving in the dark. The view at night and sunrise was spectacular!

Weekend Trip to Our Desert Domestead
This place was so wonderful! A really special spot snd the dome is amazing! I stayed here on my own for a night. It is safe and peaceful.
I was greeted when I arrived and oriented to the space.. the dome is lovely. It has a water cooler, coffee, tea, and cookware. The bed is really comfortable and the temperature is regulated so I was perfectly comfortable. One side of the dome is all windows so you can see the sun rising from the bed.
There is an outdoor shower and very clean porta potty just for that dome. No sharing of bathroom with anyone.
It is such a beautiful area..
I would highly recommend this spot!

Weekend Trip to Splitrock Farm and Retreat
Baby Oakes is a beautiful campsite. The geodome was an awesome feature. Also there’s a little stage for music or whatever you want. Ben is very accommodating and helpful. We got to see baby goats ! They are adorable ! We had a great time. Thanks Ben

Weekend Trip to Splitrock - Branch Out Glamping
What a wonderful experience! We're not big time campers, but we loved Splitrock Stargazer!
Super simple self check-in, really nice dome tent, good bed and amenities. The camp store, while tiny, had just what we needed (s'mores, etc) and we were ready to go.
We'll certainly go back and we highly recommend Splitrock.

Our little summer tradition — three moms and all our kids camping together — felt extra special this year. It’s our last trip before our oldest boys head off to college, and we couldn’t have picked a better spot than Baby Oaks Oasis at Split Rock Farm. It’s pure magic.
While setting up camp, the cutest alpaca wandered over, followed by the goats and then their sweet guardian dog. We watched a gorgeous sunset, then a pink full moon rise, spotted owls and bats, and heard coyotes in the distance. Loved the kitchen with running water, the fire pit under the big oak, and the kids sleeping in the dome. Morning views with the marine layer were stunning — don’t miss the observation deck!

My family, church members, and I had an incredibly joyful camping trip. We were surrounded by nature in a secluded spot, and a herd of goats grazed through our site in the evening and morning, delighting us with their presence. Feeding the animals, the stunning natural scenery, and the starry skies were absolutely fantastic.

We are very happy we chose this campsite. Benjamin always answered my questions. We celebrated my brother's heavenly birth with the family. We had an excellent time. Everything was perfect: Benjamin, the location, and the view. I definitely recommend Baby Oaks Oasis and would love to return.

Baby Oaks was great! We came with two families of four, and it was more than enough space, and felt like a private little paradise. The kitchen pots and pans and grills were rusted, so we were glad we brought our own cooking equipment. Aside from that, it was perfect! We’ll come back.

Baby oaks is such a beautiful space that’s tucked away from the other sites but still close to everything you need. It was perfect for our group of 6, and can def handle a bigger group.
Things to note if you choose this site: The “setup” kitchen only includes a couple run down burners—propane is extra, and you’ll need to bring your own dishes, cookware, etc. It would def be cheaper to just bring your own camp stove if you have one. Also the dome is missing paneling on an entire third of the setup, as well as the skylight in the roof. This worked well for our group, but def an important detail.
The land overall could use clearer signage, and the qr map wasn’t as helpful as we hoped. But also no big if you’re just moseying and exploring.
We will definitely be back, likely the same site, and I also enjoyed scoping the other sites for future getaways. It was great!

1 night at Our Desert Domestead
My partner and I were making our first trip ever to the west and happened to joke about wanting to find a “glass dome to watch the stars in”. Little did we know this would become a reality. Thanks to Reeyna’s creative campsite, we crossed off multiple bucket list items. We watched the stars completely unobstructed for the first time. The stars were stunning and it was a lot of fun watching all the different planes go by to the multiple surrounding airports. When we finally went in, we were still able to watch the stars from an insanely cozy bed. The decor and small little accents made the stay extremely comfortable. What a tearjerker waking up to a spectacular sunrise that you can only see online or in a dream. Laid in the bed and watched the sun rise and then swung in the hammock while breakfast was being made. This experience was absolutely unforgettable. The price was INSANLEY affordable in comparison to all other sites that were similar, especially for all the amenities provided as well. Would highly recommend this Hipcamp to anyone I would meet. I will be talking about this experience for the rest of my life. Thank you Reeyna for making this possible!

The Baby Oaks area was large enough for our group to feel like we were out in nature and not in a crowd. Splitrock has other sites and facilities, but they aren't really in view from the main site. It was nice to have the outhouse available, and it was far enough away as to not bother us with a smell. There was one chemical toilet with a door and one open to the elements - others used it but not often. The firepit was a nice sitting area, though we didn't make a fire due to restrictions at the time. There were rocks to climb and an old play structure that was a degrading a bit.
The dome was handy but completely open on one side, so don't expect warmth on a cold night. The views though! Another site on property had a fully-enclosed dome. We reserved one tent, which was warmer than I expected. The included blanket was not thick, but we brought sleeping bags, and together that was enough.
Having a water spigot on site and the kitchen area was useful. We did not use the kitchen equipment and would have needed more set up, but we did use the space for food prep. The friendly camp dog came by to visit and ask us for some food. The kids loved her and also loved the goats they saw when then went walking beyond our site.
The drive to Splitrock is on twisty paved roads, and the inner road to the site was dirt but in good shape. We used an AWD but could have made it in a regular sedan on a day that's not rainy.

We loved the private location and the fire pit. The dome was very spacious and it came with air conditioning and even a mini fridge. The wifi was really fast and we loved stargazing at night. Would definitely recommend.

Split Rock was a fun place and great opportunity for my friends and I to camp cook and have a good time. We had a total of 7 vehicles and everyone was able to find a spot to park and car camp. The campsite itself is fairly big and lot to explore. We liked how things were set up and how there was a designated fire pit, a hose on site, and a local outhouse that wasn’t smelly! My favorite parts were the views and just where the camp site is, we were able to catch a gorgeous sunset, stargazing moment, and a lovely sunrise. I rly like how the campsite was not cramped and fairly secluded from the other sites. And huge plus were the free roaming animals that we encountered including the sheep alpaca pig goats and the fluffy dog! Definitely made the experience wonderful. I would say the site is more worn down than the pictures I saw. The geodome looked like it had a door and curtains that are gone. The “camp cafe” was present but lots of trash like a jacket and beer/soda bottles and papers. We tossed it otw out. We ventured to camp store but it didn’t have any necessities that we saw just board games and dusty pots. The hot shower was not as i expected but it is a shower and kinda far from baby oaks. None of the string lights worked. And the playground/platform is very wobbly. It’s climbable but at your expense. I think overall it is lacking a little TLC but again we brought all we need. It did feel a bit over promised is all. I would come back!

Benjamin’s land was perfect for our softball team to camp & bond on! It wasn’t far from town yet felt like it. The landscape was fun for the kids to explore and the sunsets were gorg. We also got a kick out of the animals on the property. Thank you for having us!
