We only stayed for one night. The place is conveniently located near freeway. We appreciate the full hookup. Less to worry about when traveling. The only suggestion I would make is to make the direction and space number to the assigned space more clearly. But I think most places are like this. We arrived late so it took a little bit to look around for the assigned space to park.

We had hoped to book a site in Jedediah but were too late, so we felt VERY fortunate to find this campground for the coastal redwoods section of our road trip! Instead of feeling just near the redwoods—you’re in them! The playground and tether ball turned my middle schoolers into little kids again :). The bathrooms were tidy and the laundry was a big help! Definitely would book again if we find ourselves in the area.
One tip: if you’re a light sleeper, see if you can get a site away from the road. You can’t see anything but can hear loud trucks!

The Ramblin' Redwoods was our favorite campground on our road trip! The location was gorgeous, with the RV spaces literally tucked up in the Redwoods! The spaces were generous in size, and you felt like you had some privacy. The bathrooms were clean and updated and the staff was friendly. A quick 15 minute drive into Crescent City gave plenty of options for places to eat, shop, etc. If you are visiting the Redwoods, I highly recommend Ramblin' Redwoods!

Beautiful camp ground and site. Very close to J. Smith Redwoods. Bathrooms are not working, but we had our own. Nice showers, laundry mat not working. Again campground very beautiful, and not on top of each other- lots of space.

Our stay at Ramblin Redwoods Campground was truly unforgettable! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our site was well-maintained, and the entire campground was peaceful and quiet, perfect for unwinding. The highlight was the awe-inspiring remnants of ancient redwood stumps, now serving as nurse stumps for new trees—a unique and humbling sight. We explored the area for three days and didn’t find another camp that compared to this one’s serene beauty and distinctive charm. Ramblin Redwoods delivered an exceptional experience we’ll never forget. Highly recommend this gem to anyone seeking a one-of-a-kind nature escape!
