Had the best time staying at Coyote Hideaway! The sunrises, sunsets and stargazing were the best part. The property is still close to town while giving the illusion of being far away and isolated. We stayed on a new moon and had the most stunning clear view of the sky. The cabin was clean and cozy and had really neat art! The hot tub was cool and modern with led lights! I would definitely come back! Thanks for an amazing stay!

Had a great stay at this campsite! The surroundings were beautiful, the site was well maintained, and it was peaceful and relaxing. Everything was clean and easy to access, and the atmosphere made it a perfect place to unwind. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice outdoor getaway.

2 nights at Coyote Hideaway | WOW view✨
This property was an amazing retreat and close to Joshua Tree. Waking up in the morning to the amazing sunrise with a view over the desert was truly special. We enjoyed the provided tea and coffee as well as the warm shower in the winter. The hot tub also had a great view and was large enough for 6-8 people. The only thing I'd caution is that the dirt road to the property especially at the end is a bit steep and rocky but doable with any type of vehicle with a bit of clearance.

Super well appointed, well maintained campsite! Wayfinding was easy, you have phone service the whole time and posted signs are very easy to follow. I was slightly worried it would be loud because of the cityscape down in the valley, but it was very quiet at night, and watching the city lights at night was like watching a campfire!

The private campsite had a clean bathroom, and the host was very thoughtful and kind with their messages. We really liked the setup overall.
But after around 9–10 PM, there were so many dog noises that it became really hard to get my little girls to sleep in the tent. At one point we almost packed up and left, because we kept hearing 10–15 different sounds and we honestly couldn’t tell if they were dogs, coyotes, or something else. It felt like they might come close to the tent, and that really scared us.
We also noticed what looked like dog urine around the site. We’re not pet owners, so that was uncomfortable for us. It could have been from wild coyotes, so I don’t want to blame the host, but the nonstop dog/coyote noises went on for hours and we couldn’t sleep.
There were also a lot of motorcycles in the area, and some were riding even late at night.
We left the campsite cleaner than we found it, but unfortunately, because of the nighttime dog/coyote noises, we don’t think we would return.

Our family absolutely LOVED this private home-away-from-home! It was such a gift to go back to these cabins (we booked both), after our days of exploring Joshua Tree and Pioneer Town.
Family favorite: Stargazing from the hot tub.
My favorite: Quiet morning coffee on the deck with the sunrise.
We love camping in JT, but now we are spoiled with this incredible privacy and sanctuary from the crowds. It's so quiet that you can hear every animal out there... coyotes, crows, and the early morning owls. We will definitely be going back!

The location was perfect and had an attached path to explore the area below. Super quiet for my reactive pup where it’s just you at the site. The deck was fabulous and the included grill/cooking utensils was great. Serina was also super accommodating and responded quickly in the chat.
If heading over when raining, the site is still accessible though I do recommend using a car with higher clearance as some of the unpaved roads in the surrounding neighborhood can get quite rough. No issue with my AWD and the road itself leading up to the cabin as it was well maintained.

Weekend Trip to Fallbrook View Glamping Tent
Joshua’s land is exceptional. I felt immediately welcomed when we arrived the tent we slept in had a gorgeous view. I would highly recommend staying here if you just need a quick getaway from the city 10 out of 10.

Such a cool campsite! The views were spectacular and the site felt really private, while also being close enough to town that we got to enjoy Wildomar, Murrieta, and Temecula really easily. We loved hanging out in the shelter and watching the sunrise and sunset. We’d love to stay here again!

It’s very remote but still close to Joshua Tree maybe 10 minutes to the center of town. It’s a sand road to the place and the drive way up the hill to the cabin is a bit challenging. The view is amazing from the deck. A bit rustic and not anything fancy. The hot tub is nice.I think the property listed a washer and dryer, but it’s not for guest to use.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The site had an incredible view which was perfect for watching the sunrise or sunset. It was easy to get to, well laid out, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The area felt very safe and quiet, which made it easy to relax and unwind. This is indeed a very serene and private location, you will be surrounded by nothingness and nature, maybe a few curious coyotes. If you are looking to disconnect from the world in the privacy of nature reserve and pristine dark sky at night, do it! Best time to go - during new moon. Then you will be wow'ed by the sky's beauty as you soak in a brand new hot tub.

Excellent place to camp, nice views, the city lights are nice to look at in the night. The spot is more than big enough to acomodate a couple vehicles with tents, its easy enough to find a level spot to set up on. There is a hand wash station and an outhouse building with a porta potty in it that is very convenient. The ground is pretty smooth and holds a spike very well. The host Shane was very nice and led us to the spot. let me clarify the road a little its a little bumpy but nothing crazy, there are ruts on the side and some bushes, nothing that warrants special vehicle or 4x4 as long as you pay attention and use common sense the road is no problem, at a couple places it looks steep but its really not anything to be concerned with. If you come up at night as long as you go slow and have good lights its not a problem, its a refuge and farm and has some cools stuff to look at, there are pigs, a goose, ducks, chicken, they have lots of fruit trees as well. As for wild life you may encounter we were told the usual you would expect for the area, we saw some hawks, a couple frogs at night and a baby snake, nothing to be concerned with.
Pros, great host, clean well managed camping spot, nice view of the city lights.
Cell service works at the camp site so if you want to make a call or stream you can.
Cons, not really cons but if you are looking for super dark sky there is some light pollution from the city lights, just all about what you are looking for
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

It was in the same area as the Highway 62 Art Tour sites (weekends Oct 1 - 21) and not far from Joshua Tree National Park. There are a couple of houses within 1/2 mile. I enjoyed staying there and the dark night sky and the stars.

Beautiful land and views! It gets hot, but the shade structure is nice and cool. Shane was wonderful, and we loved walking on the property after watching the sun rise. Overall very positive and super-responsive and friendly host, but watch out for fire ants when walking the roads (we did not see any at the campsite, only on the roads).
