This is the only rental on the property, so it is super private. You have your own separate driveway, and the owner's home is on the other side of the land, ensuring a very private stay. This 85 acre parcel sits just west of Nevada City, CA with the Deer Creek on our southern border and the Tribute Trail with the Newtown Canal on our northern border. Seemingly in the middle of nowhere, It is a 10 minute drive to the quaint, historical gold rush town of Nevada City, and about 20-30 minutes by bicycle along the the Tribute Trail into town, or walk to the bridge that crosses the Deer Creek to a loop trail with lovely views and wooded scenery, about 1.5 hours there and back to the campground. The gorgeous South Fork of the Yuba River is a 15 minute drive away. Great hiking, biking and swimming opportunities abound in the surrounding Sierra Nevada Foothills. The Bowman Road is about 1 + hour's drive East on Hwy 20 to Lake Spaulding, the smaller Fuller and Rucker lakes and Bowman Lake, as well as the Grouse Ridge hiking area. Nevada City has great restaurants, bars, music and theater, as well as shopping and art galleries. We offer 4 tent platforms, as well as 4 RV parking sites. There are no hookups at this point, but there is a bathhouse with potable water, flush toilets and shower with warm water.
