The Sierra Sol Camp project has been hosting community events and friend gathering for years. We take great pride in extending a warm and welcoming space for all our visitors and extending the invitation to campers was a great next step.
We have listings ranging from yurts to shipping containers, an old water tower converted to a vintage trailer and canvas tents.
We are based in between the middle fork of the Yuba river right where it meets up with Oregon Creek. If you like a long walk it is 2.5 miles down the dirt road to Oregon Creek and the middle fork of the Yuba. Driving takes 5 to 10 mins. The other direction is the largest lake in our county Bullards Bar Reservoir and Emerald Cove Marina. We are 1 mile down Marysville Rd. from a launch called dark day. There is a trailhead at the top of overflow boat parking for a public swimming hole on the lake.
On our property, we have a main house with its own private facilities such as a kitchen, shower, and bath. On the land, we have 9 total unique cabin and canvas tent structures converted into boutique-like campsites. We have an epic outdoor entertaining kitchen and patio with an outdoor pizza oven and a little dog rinse behind the outdoor shower. The bathhouse is right across the way and provides a private but shared guest shower house, tub and sink.
Like anywhere in the woods there is an hour at sunset when you may have mosquitoes down near the sites in the spring and some of the summers depending on the year. We have a natural spray for that or fans in the kitchen. Off the path, you may find poison oak in the thick of the woods. So please stay on the marked trails.

Camp cooking has never been easier, as the community kitchen is well equipped with 2 full-sized refrigerators, gas stove/oven, pots and pans, dishware, silverware, triple sink, and two outdoor barbeques. The cooks will especially appreciate our unique outdoor “dishwashing station” for each individual (even kids!) to efficiently wash their own dishes instead of using throw-away plastic for each meal. Our bathhouse has two private toilets, two private showers with hot water and a double sink. Bring your own towels and toiletries.

Camp Watanda is a retired girls summer camp. We have 10 acres of wooded property, with the 4 sleeping cabins close to the waterfront lots of space for pitching tents/dispersed camping. The sleeping cabins all have 8-10 mattresses, grilling table, picnic table, cooler, smoke alarms, rake, broom and fire extinguishers. We are pet friendly. Our waterfront has a large fire ring (only available before May 1 and after Nov 1), 2-covered pergolas, canoes, kayaks, life jackets and charcoal grill. Lots of fish in the lake, since this is a private lake, no license is required. There is also a bathhouse (very primitive and in serious need of remodel) with 3 showers, 3 toilets and 3 sinks. There is plenty of shade with large pine, cedar and oak trees and open sunny space in the meadow. Coppercreek Camp is your perfect mountain getaway for the whole family!
Please note: The Dixie fire burned our town of Greenville in August 2021. There is ongoing repair work in the local area, a lot of burned forest, but still many beautiful sites to see. Much of our property burned, but we are rebuilding and have beautiful green trees with plenty of shade. All of our pictures on HipCamp are post-fire and up-to-date. Please come and support our special town as we rebuild!

Pet Policy
All our cabins and seasonal RV sites are pet friendly and we allow up to two dogs per reservation. We ask that they stay off the furniture (beds, sofas etc.) and are not left in the rental unattended. We love dogs, but sadly won’t be able to accommodate heavily shedding pets that aren’t house trained. Additionally, our insurance will not allow "aggressive breeds" that include any mix of: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman, German Sheppard.
Please pick up after your pup and use a leash when at the camp. Thank you in advance for your consideration and help in keeping our camp a mellow and enjoyable place for everyone.

Guest access:
The tent site is only accessible by 4-wheel drive vehicles. If you do not have a 4-wheel drive vehicle there is parking for up to four vehicles at the house. The tent site is less than a quarter mile walk downhill from the house.
River access:
If you’d like to visit the river to hang out, swim, or fish you can follow the dirt road next to the tent down to the river (3-minute walk). The riverfront has lounge chairs, a picnic table, and kayak's. The riverbank has small pebbles and rocks so water shoes are highly suggested for comfort when going into the water (recommended but not needed).

This is a private tent site with one other listing on the property which is located at the house. You may rarely see other guests during your stay.
Check out is at 12pm. If you or anyone in your party stays past 12:30pm you will be charged for an extra night for your full party.

Welcome to Oakland Feather River Camp! We offer the option of platform canvas tents, rustic wooden cabins, or places to park your own camper/RV. We are nestled near Quincy, CA surrounded by miles and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, secluded swimming holes, and opportunites for all sorts of exploration.
Each unit we provide has cots and mattresses (3 in the cabins and 4 in the tents). Our site has multiple bath houses, provides 3 meals each day, and in the afternoons campers are welcome to take a dip in our lifeguard supervised swimming hole.

Adam has a very nice piece of land, it is a perfect setting for what he has done with it. You get a bit of everything the deep forest to open prairies. The cabins are very rustic, I only saw inside of the Geronimo, however the others appear to be equal in quality. I absolutely loved the group cabins beautiful! ( from the outside of course) If you enjoy just unplugging and being in nature this is where to go. Make sure you do bring bug repellent. Thank you, Adam for sharing your land, with individuals like myself who just need a break from the hustle and bustle.

5 nights at Coppercreek Camp
Peaceful and tranquil. Really love this place. Easy 10 minute drive to Lake Almanor. The cabins are rustic and minimal but have comfortable beds, a coffee machine, and air conditioning. Their a good step above tent camping. The weather is warm and sunny with a pleasant afternoon breeze and cool nights There is a beautiful creek on the property near enough to walk or drive but far enough away to avoid any pests. It is a very charming location set in a majestic pine forest. There are showers and running water restrooms and wash rooms with one private shower bath restroom. There is a large kitchen facility for group use.

Weekend Trip to Sunrise Farm
We enjoyed our stay at the Sunset Sanctuary site which was very quiet and peaceful. It felt secluded, though just a couple minutes walk from parking and the communal rustic kitchen and bathroom. Marcia was away when we stayed, but the folks living/working there were very warm and friendly. There is a stove and cookware/dishes but no fridge, so make sure to bring a cooler. Amazing to be super close to lovely Yuba river swimming holes and to enjoy the beautiful stargazing at night! Also had fun on the unexpected giant trampoline on the land!

Weekend Trip to Coppercreek Camp
Getting there was simple and the directions were clear. The Oasis Cabin was clean and neat. It was also well insulated to sound. Bring your sleeping bag or a blanket. These are just simple pads on small bed frames. The cabin had power, light, an A/C unit, a coat rack, and chairs on the deck.

Very cool spot to stay! It made me feel like I was a kid at summer camp again. We will definitely be back again.
On a side note, the rooms with the grey doors next to the restroom are rooms with sinks to wash your hands. Took us a minute to figure out

Weekend Trip to Coppercreek Camp
We rented out a cabin for family coming into town. It was great. Camp hosts met us and showed us around. We had great weather and a great time. We would absolutely stay again.

Weekend Trip to Honeycomb Hut
The Honeycomb Hut was amazing! My husband and I had a nice and relaxing anniversary weekend. The cabin is beautiful, you can see the thought and detail that went into creating it. The skylights, large window, and twinkly lights made everything cozy and peaceful. We enjoyed stargazing at night, doing puzzles, reading, finding cute little frogs hopping outside the cabin, and exploring Nevada city. Thank you Elena and Catherine!

We loved this place so much. It reminds me of the 4H camp I went to in Kentucky in the 70s, which is a good thing. Perfectly quiet and so many amenities that make camping so easy and comfortable. Half of me wants to tell everyone to come while the other half wants to keep it a hidden gem. But come. You won’t regret it.

Had a great time with my 18m twins and my mom and sister over a weekend. It was so fun seeing the kids get into the spirit of things during their first river hangout. They also learned about picking berries in the amazing garden, they were quick students to how that works. We'll look forward to returning! Thanks for sharing this amazing space.

We loved staying at the Riverside Retreat and exploring the river with our dogs. The kayaks were so fun and a generous addition to the beach. We stayed in the sheds and they can get warm on summer days so bring a portable fan if you want to help clear out the heat!

We just hosted our 70 person wedding at Deja's property and it was absolutely amazing. This property is pure magic and you can tell how much attention to detail and effort has gone into making it so special over the years. Everyone was comfortable and stoked to be there - from the beautiful outdoor kitchen, late night outdoor baths and stargazing, comfy accommodations, and daily trips to the yuba we all were on cloud 9 and never wanted to leave. Deja was very helpful and communicative with logistics and connecting us with friends - Felix for amazing pizza night and Kat to run the bar. We feel very grateful for the weekend spent here.

One of the highlights is the incredible outdoor kitchen—thoughtfully designed, well-equipped, and a wonderful gathering space for cooking, sharing meals, and connecting with fellow campers.

Weekend Trip to Lazy Bear Cabin
As my first Hipcamp stay, it was perfect. Perfect location, easy to find. The surrounding forest was beautiful. The cabin itself set was very nice and cozy. We did our best to keep it the way we found everything. We couldn’t find a sponge so we weren’t able to the dishes but not many were left. It was a great experience.

Weekend Trip to Wisdom eco-preserve
We had a great time at the Serenity Cabin. It was beautiful and secluded in the woods with everything we needed. We brought a cast iron pan with us to cook outside on the fire which I would recommend to anyone in the future! The bathroom was a short walk across the meadow. The mosquitos were around but once we lit a citronella candle and started a fire they did not bug us at all (haha). We enjoyed activities nearby Nevada City, Scotts Flat Reservoir, and the Yuba River at Edwards Crossing Bridge as well. Adam has created a beautiful property that is very lovely and relaxing.
