This place is truly a gem, and Renée is a fantastic host! The trailer is equipped with everything you could need, and we were welcomed with a gorgeous bouquet of wildflowers picked from Renée’s garden, along with a thoughtful selection of refreshments.
The property is only five minutes from Nevada City, yet it feels completely peaceful and immersed in nature. During our stay, we saw deer, rabbits, frogs, quails, and were serenaded all day by a wide variety of birds. To top it all off, the wildflowers were in full bloom, and we loved relaxing on the swing above the property while taking in the beautiful views surrounded by flowers.
We already miss our weekend there and are looking forward to coming back!

We absolutely loved it here! Renée was so welcoming, the property is beautiful, and the camper has all the comforts you need and more. Close to Nevada City and lots of hiking. We’d definitely go back!

Renee's place was so peaceful and beautiful. The morning sun rising thru the trees created a wonderful place to sit and relax. Her trailer was cozy and well equipped. She generously provided so many things that made being there and cooking easy. Lots of spices, butter, oil, fresh fruit and treats. She really went above and beyond. The bed was very comfortable also. Renee was very friendly and let us know of local events going on. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Renee.

Very private and peaceful. Renee is a fabulous host she even provided my dog with baked treat and made us feel very welcomed. There's a nice ladybug trail just out back that is worth exploring! It was unfortunate that rain hit during our time here so outdoor activities were limited, but we hope to come back again soon!

Everything they say about this spot is true. My dog and I enjoyed our time at Renee’s. The trailer was as comfortable as a trailer can be. Everything was clean and well stocked.
The property is very well kept, beautiful, and conveniently located to the where I keep my heart. Renee is a kind and thoughtful host.
I would LOVE to stay there again.

We absolutely loved camping on Renée’s land, in her beautifully appointed trailer. The nearby town of Nevada City is walkable or a 5 minute drive. We spent most of our time relaxing by the trailer and enjoying the beauty and quiet. Renée had left a basket of fresh vegetables which we so appreciated. You won’t miss not being able to have a campfire; the night sky is brilliant with stars. We wanted for nothing, the nice hot outdoor shower was lovely as well. We plan to definitely return

My stay at Peace in the Pines was truly wonderful. Renee is such a kind and welcoming host—upon my arrival, there was a basket of fresh fruits and vegetables from the land, which was such a thoughtful treat. The RV had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and the outdoor area was both beautiful and private, allowing for a quiet and restful experience. I’m very grateful for my time here.

This is my third time visiting this delightful spot. The new camper is amazing! I love the outdoor shower. My favorite moment was sitting in lawn chairs with coffee listening to the birds. Renee is a kind and generous host.

We just wanted to disconnect from the world, so we weren't expecting to do much this trip. Renee was amazing. We had some fun adventures thanks to her recommendations. Panned some gold from the river as a nifty souvenir. And it was great to come back to a quiet cozy spot to wind down the day.
This was also our first trip with our anxious pittie and Renee was super understanding. She gave us a lot of privacy, but she was attentive and surprisingly quick to respond when needed.
She had an awesome garden basket to welcome us and literally anything we could have needed in the kitchen.
Bring CDs to play music in the RV and highly recommend the Nisenan Tribute Bridge for beautiful forest views.

We had the joy of staying at Peace in the Pines twice again this summer and again, Peace in the Pines does not disappoint. It is always a luxury and always a privilege, and we always feel renewed and grateful upon departing. Do not miss the top of the Ladybug Trail at night for stars!

Amazing and memorable, we loved our stay at Peace In The Pines. Renee is a great host, super kind, and even supplied us some fruits and veggies from the garden, which we made a wonderful dinner with. I did morning yoga and meditation among the pines, and to open your eyes while looking above is truly magical. Our little dog-daughter enjoyed her stay as well!
The site has everything you need, from a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed with linens, and outdoor seating. The outdoor shower is a highlight! We saw a landscape of stars framed with the tall pines for two nights, couldn't ask for more.

Lovely stay in this peaceful and quirky place. Enjoyed exploring Nevada city and it was so lovely to come back to that comfortable bed. Also went to empire mine state park, it was beautiful and definitely recommend. Renee gave us some amazing veggies from her garden.

So many great things to say about Renee and her camper! I booked this last-minute trip with my daughter. She’s always wanted to stay in a trailer and so we brought a dog and it was everything that we could’ve asked for Ann more.
Renee was a super kind host and give us some recommendations on where to visit in terms of family friendly river spots. She also let us know that the fair was in town. those were great recommendations!
The camper itself was clean nicely set with amenities for shower, sleeping comfortably and cooking. Being amongst nature was beautiful we saw a deer. Our dog loved it there too.
My favorite thing about this place with that was the outdoor shower! I love me a good outdoor shower and it was just the icing on the cake. Highly recommend this spot! I look forward to coming back.

Renee was the best host! Fresh produce from the garden, special treats for my girlfriend’s birthday, and everything we needed to have an amazing relaxing weekend up in the trailer. This was our first Hipcamp experience and it was fantastic! Peace in the Pines is an understatement. Renee the hostess was kind and generous. She shared some absolutely beautiful fruit, veggies and herbs from her garden and she had a special gift of champagne and truffles for our anniversary. The trailer was extremely clean and well cared for. The grass yard was refreshing and clean. The out door shower was a great experience of life. The property expresses PEACE at every turn. Short drives to Nevada City, Grass Valley and the beautiful and refreshing Yuba River and beautiful hikes. We will definitely be back! Thank you Renee for the anniversary weekend we needed!

Highly recommend staying here. The place is beautiful and quiet and we enjoyed lots of privacy and relaxing game nights after a day at the river. I really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was and the generous amount of veggies and herbs Renee left for us from her garden.

Every time we stay at Peace in the Pines we leave happy and rejuvenated. The outdoor shower is the best, and the surrounding lands are so beautiful. Be sure to walk the ladybug trail! Renee leaves no stone unturned - she has thought of everything. Her kindness and generosity is unmatched.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Peace in the Pines. Renee is a very thoughtful host. My dogs loved rolling on the lawn and hiking near her property. The outdoor shower was wonderful after day of hiking. The beautiful welcome basket with fresh fruit, vegetables, and herbs was a treat. Overall, it was nice to have a quiet, tranquil place to relax.

Peace in the Pines is exactly as the name implies - beautiful, private, quiet and a wonderful place to decompress and rejuvenate. Especially loved the little amenities - cold beer pre-stocked in the fridge, bottled water, real coffee with cream and sugar. Very cozy accommodations that were clean and inviting. Outdoor shower, hammocks, lawn chairs for enjoying the view added to the experience. Renee also provided an orientation and welcome to ensure the stay went smoothly.

Peace In The Pines
Renée's property is the perfect place to relax and recharge. The trailer was very comfortable and immaculately clean. Renée went above and beyond with super thoughtful touches including gorgeous fresh flowers (we didn't think they were real!), a selection of cold beverages, and extra food, which we didn't end up needing but it was lovely all the same. The trailer is nestled in the woods and very private. Our dog had a great time, constantly sniffing all the new smells. We loved the peace and quiet but Nevada city is a quick car ride away if you want some action.
We had a wonderful stay and we'd love to come back for more peace in the pines!

Renee's camp was just the peace and quiet I was seeking. Her RV is tucked behind her property, below the pines and with a view out to the ridgeline. It was wonderfully quiet and many flowers were in bloom when I visited at the end of May. The inside of the RV is quite spacious for two people and there are nice big glass wine glasses for sipping out on the lawn. Please note that while the bed is quite comfortable with several pillows and a quilt, it may be a little short if you are over 6ft. Renee showed us her garden and we were able to pick some very ripe strawberries. I would definitely chose to stay here again next time I want a relaxing escape from city life.

We had a magical stay with our big dog at Renee’s place! There’s an RV with full amenities, outdoor chairs and a giant hammock to lounge in, and plenty of room for a large tent too. The place is tucked away and quiet but also less than 10 minutes from the historic district in Nevada City and beautiful trails. Renee was also gave us a super warm welcome and farewell and was available if we needed anything. Loved our stay!
