At the tent site you’ll have access to a table and chairs, lounge chairs, picnic table, gas BBQ, basketball hoop and balls, rock campfire, kayaks, and a porta potty. A short 3-minute walk away from the tent you’ll find the shore of the Bear River. Guest access: The tent site is only accessible by 4-wheel drive vehicles. If you do not have a 4-wheel drive vehicle there is parking for up to four vehicles at the house. The tent site is less than a quarter mile walk downhill from the house. River access: If you’d like to visit the river to hang out, swim, or fish you can follow the dirt road next to the tent down to the river (3-minute walk). The riverfront has lounge chairs, a picnic table, and kayak's. The riverbank has small pebbles and rocks so water shoes are highly suggested for comfort when going into the water (recommended but not needed). Come and enjoy the views of the river, forest, and wildlife! This is a private tent site with one other listing on the property which is located at the house. You may rarely see other guests during your stay. Check out is at 12pm. If you or anyone in your party stays past 12:30pm you will be charged for an extra night for your full party. We are happy to make suggestions for local hiking areas, like the Devil's Slide "Gorge" only a 15 minute drive but like a trip to mini Yosemite. The Caldor Fire was VERY close to our property and a back burn was initiated nearby the our house (literally 200' away!). Our property became a pivotal point of fighting the fire in our community known as the “Ant Hill Army”. Ask us about the story!

If you like a long walk it is 2.5 miles down the dirt road to Oregon Creek and the middle fork of the Yuba. Driving takes 5 to 10 mins. The other direction is the largest lake in our county Bullards Bar Reservoir and Emerald Cove Marina. We are 1 mile down Marysville Rd. from a launch called dark day. There is a trailhead at the top of overflow boat parking for a public swimming hole on the lake. On our property, we have a main house with its own private facilities such as a kitchen, shower, and bath. On the land, we have 9 total unique cabin and canvas tent structures converted into boutique-like campsites. We have an epic outdoor entertaining kitchen and patio with an outdoor pizza oven and a little dog rinse behind the outdoor shower. The bathhouse is right across the way and provides a private but shared guest shower house, tub and sink. Like anywhere in the woods there is an hour at sunset when you may have mosquitoes down near the sites in the spring and some of the summers depending on the year. We have a natural spray for that or fans in the kitchen. Off the path, you may find poison oak in the thick of the woods. So please stay on the marked trails.

You also have access to the outdoor picnic area under the fig tree which has a BBQ, picnic table and sink for rinsing dishes. There is no indoor shower, but we do have a rustic outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Tent space We have a small orchard in front of the Nopal Studio. There is room for two tent sites. No camp fires are allowed in the orchard. If it is winter time, we do have a fire ring in the fig tree picnic area, as well as a propane BBQ. The bathroom is shared with the cabins. We have farm animals and dogs which can be loud. The dogs chase squirrels and bark maniacally, and the ducks quack at sunrise, like, lots! There are also spiders, wasps, bees, rattlesnakes etc!! Weekend Trip to Ridgetop Ranch Getaway

The minute I arrived I instantly knew that already I would be back for a second trip! Everything you could want was beautifully waiting for you at this magical experience and the cherry on top or Chris and Rebecca's attentiveness, warmth and hospitality. You could tell so much Master craftsmanship and love was put into these sites ! I cannot recommend this place enough and look forward to coming back!

Serenity Cabin was exactly the reset we needed. The cabin is roomy and comfortable, and having no cell reception made it easy to unplug and recharge away from the city. The road in is a little overgrown, though we made it fine in our minivan. If you have a high-clearance vehicle, bring it. It'll make the drive easier and is handy for exploring the surrounding area, since most of the roads out there are unpaved. We stayed during mid-September and the weather was perfect. Would happily stay again!

Such a gorgeous piece of land! Clearly all of the built spaces have been a labor of love for Bobby. I imagine it will continue to grow and evolve. I was the only one there (which is what I wanted) but I imagine it would be much different with lots of people staying, as the sleeping rooms are fairly close to each other. The outdoor kitchen is fantastic! Bobby was communicative and kind. I loved staying here.

2 nights at Cosumnes River Ranch

My gf and I visited here for our 5th year anniversary and basically had the entire area to ourselves. We reserved the stone cabin #2 and when we first pulled up we decided to walk down to the water first which was about a minute and we were absolutely blown away by how awesome the mountain range along side the river. We truly felt like we were in a movie walking along the waters edge.

The studio cottage was perfect for me and my dog. I appreciate how dog-friendly the property is! My pup had a lovely time lounging in the sun on the deck and playing in the water. When I had an issue, management was super responsive and helpful. Can’t wait to come back. Thanks so much!

1 night at El Nopal Studio And Cabins

I stayed in Cabin 2 on a very impromptu road trip, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my adventure. I arrived after dark but instantly felt so welcomed with a magical set up of twinkle lights, beautiful plants, and the coziest little collection of buildings. The cabin itself was perfect. Rachel has included so many beautiful touches and it's cozy and welcoming without being cluttered with too many unnecessary pieces. In the morning, I got to experience beautiful views, wake up to the farm animals, and take my time exploring the space. I loved my time here and very much look forward to coming back.

Weekend Trip to Unhitched Snug Harbor RV Park & Marina

We had such a wonderful weekend at Snug Harbor! It was our first time staying here, and we loved being by the water, enjoying the sunsets, fishing, and just spending quality time as a family. The glamping setup made it comfortable for my parents while still giving us that fun outdoor experience. Terri was also very accommodating and responsive, which we truly appreciated. We left with beautiful memories and already miss the peaceful feeling of being there. Sometimes the best trips aren’t about going far—they’re about having the right people beside you and enough time to enjoy each other. Snug Harbor gave us exactly that. ❤️

Sierra Sol Camp is such a special spot! A group of us rented a handful of the sleep spaces, including the main house, which was a nice home base/extension from the beautiful common area. We had everything we needed to make food together after sunny days at the river. We loved the fire pit, thoughtful touches to encourage community, while also providing privacy/space. Everyone (dogs included!) agreed that the property felt magical and we were so happy to have had the opportunity to enjoy it for a weekend. Thank you, Deja and crew!

Absolutely lovely people, lovely land, really nice experience. You might want to bring an flair mattress to enhance the existing setup. The toilet is very "rustic" so if you are somewhat squeemish (like my kids), might be something to consider, but for most hipcampers its very normal. Overall awesome vibes and setting. Close to great fishing spots.

From the moment Bobby greets you after you turn into the gate entrance - it feels like you are driving up a road that could lead anywhere. Once you hit the apex of the hill, you see what the ongoing passion he has for what he is still building to be better. This was our first time “glamping” and to be honest I don’t know if anything could be better than what he has created! The most amazing thing I thought was the open kitchen right next to the fire pit which is no less than another 20 steps to your cabin where it can fit up to 4. Don’t expect a hotel room because at the end of the day you’re still in the woods - but if you don’t want to sleep in a 4 person tent it’s apples to oranges. If you love privacy and getting away from the city - this is it! While I might not know how much to compare to other glamp sites - this felt more like you are entering his home which he built himself and is STILL making upgrading! Full outdoor kitchen with burners, large prep area, dining area separate from the fire pit which you can also cook on, separate bar top, lounge area, hot tub, detailed decor, and a type of isolation that a get away deserves. We were looking for “Dog Friendly” glamp spots and must’ve gotten so lucky that from all the choices we picked SAGE. If you love dogs, have a dog, or want to meet the friendliest good boy - this is an off leash location which makes it feel like you are staying with a friend. Needless to say we cant wait to go back!

I only have good things to say about Radiance Cabin and the land! The cabin is spacious, lots of light and beautifully built. Nice bedrooms, outdoor shower, large kitchen. We sat around the fire every night and watched stars on the deck. Hiked around the property multiple times and especially loved the lookout at Dragon's Nest. Adam was so kind to give us tips of where to hike and swim close by that were fantastic. We're already talking about staying here again. Highly recommend staying here. Thanks Adam!
