Sugarloaf is an amazing camping location. The camp hosts made it even better. They are kind, friendly, and very helpful. The set up was great. Morning sun and afternoon shade was ideal for late May.

Beautiful site. It really has all the amenities you can ask for with a killer view. I would highly recommend. Great getaway from city life. Wife and I will definitely book again.

My partner and I absolutely loved it here! The eclectic yurts were awesome and the views were great. This host was so accommodating and was super helpful. We loved the army of chickens and ducks on the property as well! If you are looking for a nice getaway this is the place!

These glamping sites are awesome. Well equipped and furnished. Beautiful little state park with lovely waterfall nearby!

1 night at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park Glamping

This spot was wonderful. The bed is comfortable, the tent is spacious, and site 4 was definitely the best of the glamping bunch. The tent gets morning sun, but most of the site stays cool and shaded throughout the day. Note that there's a huge open space between sites 3 and 4, so they would be great to rent together for a large group. The park staff were very friendly and helpful, the showers were warm with decent pressure, and the bathrooms were clean. And the hiking was fantastic! They have a waterproof map you can buy at the visitor center for about $7 that's better than the free one (well worth it), and the free one has descriptions of the hikes including length, elevation changes, sun cover, vegetation, and views. Overall the stay was peaceful and just what we wanted. Highly recommend!

Loved our Glamping Trip to Sugar Loaf Ridge State Park. Everything very nice except I have two requests. We had a party of three at the glamping tent with 3 cars and another picnic table would have been very convenient. The other request is a dishwashing station with hot water. Many are camping in TV's and have access to dishwashing. But if your camping washing dishes can be a real challenge. But a great park and a great trip. Hope to go back soon!

Can’t believe this escape was only 35mins away from Palo Alto. The view from the Yurt was amazing as in the eggs and wine and all the other amenities that are provided. You really don’t have to worry. Plus Jon and Mary was super helpful and quick to respond to anything.

Very comfortable mattress! Cozy glamping tent with side tables and rug. Ample toilets and potable water in addition to shower house. Definitely will go back!

15/10 would recommend. What an incredible little slice of heaven. The hosts have gone way above and beyond to insure guests have everything they could possibly need. I cannot wait to visit again. My only regret is not staying longer. Pro tip: make sure you have a hat to sleep in if you're staying in a yurt.

1 night at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park Glamping

Such a lovely spot! Really enjoyed our stay glamping at Sugar Loaf. It was perfect for my two kids (5 and 2) and they had such a nice time! The nature was great, we saw deers and turkeys on our small hike to the creek and up the hillside. The toilets and showers were clean. Would definitely come back again!

3 nights at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park Glamping

Our Tent Cabin had comfortable beds that kept us warm, dry and cozy during our 3 night stay at Sugarloaf Ridge SP, while our sons stayed in campsites nearby. There are many trails around, including a "Planet Walk" where you'll learn about our solar system and planets' relative distances from the sun. We saw waterfalls, lots of flowers, mountain vistas during the day, the stars and an almost full-moon at night. Friendly Volunteers help Park Workers lovingly maintain the beautiful campground and its many trails. There are small outhouses near each site; and, clean bathrooms and showers with hot water (a Quarter buys 5-minutes) at camp. Historic wineries (Kunde, Chateau St. Jean, Ledson, etc.) and many good places to eat are nearby. It was a lovely way to spend Spring Break with our family!

Absolutely stunning views and vibes! I love how close the trails are and the chickens are a delight . They are so thoughtful and the attention to detail was incredible . No need to bring any essentials if you’re not picky because in the yurt I got it was fully stocked with everything from bbq utensils to plates , tea, usb charger , you name it . Definitely desire to come back .
