Splitrock Farm Splitrock was part of a 160-acre avocado farm that prospered from 1970 to 2017, generating over 1million pounds of avocados per year until the previous owners switched off the water in 2017. Ben purchased 101 acres in 2021 with plans to harvest the dead avocado trees for firewood and replant with organic, sustainable crops such as grapes, citrus trees, and flowers. Splitrock's attraction comes from its unique groves, magnificent granite boulders, and sweeping vistas. Mixed within the avocado groves are several ancient groves and solitary trees that include 200 foot tall pines, hundreds of old oaks, and soaring palms. Gemini Moon Ranch is a wonderfully unique and charming place. We stayed in the Artist Gallery and it was so cute and comfortable. We also did a stained glass class with Tracy which was amazing!! Will definitely be coming back for Soulful Sundays, one of their events and a girls weekend.

Had a great time celebrating my 30th birthday here. Our hosts were very friendly and hospitable. I appreciated having a clean porta potty, running water and a well lit area already set up for us. Amazing views as well. Definitely would come back!

We loved our stay in the Tinned Ham Camper! The property itself was amazing with kitschy and fun decor, beautiful views, friendly hosts, and adorable cats. My favorite part of our stay was the hot tub just a couple steps from our door. We also loved that even though we’re in the middle of Eagle Rock it felt like we traveled to somewhere secluded and romantic. I can’t wait to return here!

Beautiful location with nice spacing between camp sites. Didn't feel our neighbors were too close. Host's were exceptional. Definitely camping there again. Rustic and primitive camping.

It’s a large site! Can have the kids playing and feel safe since there is a big area. Also a good place to play kickball

I love this site because it has a good amount of shade in the afternoon and is nearby the clean restrooms. There is a ton of room to ride bikes and take long or short hikes. I had a lot of fun. Thanks Ben!

Wonderful services and even better property. Everything from the bathroom decor and the interior of the teardrop trailer, to the small details around the yard that made the experience live up to its name. The hosts hospitality and responsiveness to our delays in arrival was very earnest and friendly, and their service was overall wonderful. Very cozy, very pampering, amazing hot tub. We didn’t get to use the beautiful pool with waterslide and grotto. And I haven’t even mentioned the great view, the awesome cave shower and the many kitties roaming around. A perfect getaway. Recommend 100%

Tucked away on a dirt hill, the bright orange VW bus sits shaded against a huge boulder. It opens completely in the back for a cool breeze and paints a retro picture. There are two metal chairs besides it. I was expecting a picnic table, but that was absent. Luckily, I brought a table. The wooden platform below the bus was a really nice touch. I would have loved an outdoor rug to complete the look. I would recommend bringing your own lighting (lanterns, headlamps, lights). Overall, it's a unique, van life camping spot.

Weekend Trip to The Ranch

We’re a group of RV campers - 5 rigs and 1 tent, totaling 13 people and we fit comfortably with room to spare. The camp site is private, clean, and incredibly relaxing. There are plenty of shaded areas to chill during the day, and a beautifully lit dinner space. The Ranch is perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. Every detail feels thoughtfully maintained, making it one of the most enjoyable camping experiences we’ve had. It’s clear this place was designed with comfort and community in mind. And then there’s Steven. He’s a great camp host. Very responsive, kind, and incredibly accommodating. Steven goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcome and cared for. We’re already planning our next visit. This place is a keeper!

Gnatcatcher Flats was absolutely perfect for our Trail Life group of about 30 boys and dads! Jordan was fantastic—helpful and welcoming—and the site itself is tucked away from everything, making it peaceful and private. We couldn’t have asked for a better location or value. Weekend Trip to Skyline Mountain

Such a cool sight with just the right amount of amenities to make for a great casual camping experience. The road up is no joke and you got to be unafraid to get up a dirt road that goes up quickly, but our cars could do it, even when we came in at night. Caleb was great and communicative and we will definitley coming back for the next time do our retreat, the amphitheater so well positioned and the town at night was beautiful to look at. Great sunrises and sunsets too!
