We are a small farm on a 1 acre gated property that has two RV spots and a bar shed. We have full hookups in both sites.
Our town is rural but it's still close to HWY 101. We do live on the property, close enough if you need anything but far enough for privacy. We host happy hour for campers who are interested. Although the hours depend on arrival and our availability.
We have a common area between the two sites that offered a nice fire pit. Our farm has 3 goats, 2 pot bellied pigs and 20 chickens that lay fresh eggs daily. We LOVE animals but we CANNOT ALLOW PETS.
Also, sorry no tent camping. RV's only. We do not provide bathrooms or showers on site. Don’t have an RV? RENT OURS! We have everything you need for your family. Enjoy a weekend on the farm and glamp in our RV. We have all the amenities of home.
Coming to enjoy the area? The property is just a few mins off the 101 freeway on the Central Coast. We are only 15 mins South of Pismo Beach, 30 mins south of San Luis Obispo and an hour North of Santa Barbara. The beach, wineries and shopping are all very close. Or if you are looking for a quiet retreat with some super sweet farm animals stay here and enjoy the farm.
We do rent both sites out at the same time so if it’s privacy you are looking for please message us. Or If you would like to camp with friends or family we can accommodate two additional trailers. Again please message us to arrange this.

We are living our dream after recently finding and purchasing this beautiful 10 acre parcel, one of the sunniest in the canyon with a bucolic creek that flows all year.
See Canyon itself is a special place. Home to a multitude of birds and
wildlife, a beautiful scenic winding road, lush landscaping and a host of apple orchards.
Thanks to the micro climate we have here, we grow some of the best apples and stone fruit in the country. The coastal canyon is just a short distance to the beach and 15 minutes into town but feels like a world away when you are here.
The star gazing is incredible as the canyon walls block the light pollution and the milky way shines!
Welcome to our little slice of 10 acre heaven in the Canyon! Just bring yourself and we have everything else!! Nestle up in the Cozy Gnome Home, a 1967 vintage trailer and listen to the symphony of frogs in the creek just outside your window.
With love and labor... we gutted, redesigned and restored this little trailer for the ultimate functioning space for two. Detailed with a nice little kitchen with copper counters and everything you need for cooking and dining.
A Berkey filter for clean water, hardwood floors and a comfy bed complete with organic latex mattress, down comforter and cotton sheets.
Fold out dining table if you care to (or need to) eat indoors.
There is also an outdoor kitchen space with a sink (no hot water), gas grill (upon request), propane burner (bring your own small canister) and a patio table and chairs. We have a charcoal grill available too.
The creek runs mostly year round so feel free to get your feet wet on a hot sunny day.
We also have an outdoor warm shower and sink as well.
You are welcome to cruise the property and check out the chickens, ducks, goats and horses.
We have three dogs on the ranch, a curious and playful ranch dog Pluto (who will be your tour guide), a Boston Bulldogge, Astrid and our newest pup, an American Hairless Terrier, Cozmo, silly little guy :)
We are surrounded by orchards which have some of the best apples and pears in the country.
Seasonally you can stop by many apple markets and do a tasting. We also have a lively wine tasting venue less than a mile away.

This is an incredibly historic site in Santa Barbara history. 2 tribes of Chumash Indians lived here for 10,000 years. This is where Spain landed and began colonizing the area. In the 1950's and 60's, this was the site of the World's largest orchid farm. There is a book called The Royal Rancho, if you are a history buff.
We are a farm on the beach just North of Santa Barbara and Goleta, Ca. You will camp in a historic, glass greenhouse with incredible ocean views. Inside is a cob pizza oven that works awesome. (Bring your own firewood),,, a place to pitch tents and tiny artistic structures to explore. You will have a private bath and shower (Primitive, no electricity, but the hot shower has the best view in the world of any shower!) Bring your own toiletries and whatnot.

Our free standing casita is cozy and nestled in a natural serene creekside setting. The loft has a spacious queen size bed for your sleeping pleasure with adjustable reading lights on either side of the bed. The living area offers a fold down couch for another adult or 2 kids. There is a kitchenette with a toaster oven, electric tea kettle and coffee maker. There is a charcoal Weber bbq grill and a propane gas 2 burner stove. We provided a propane fire pit during the fire ban, bring propane and charcoal etc.
There is a well lit private bathroom with hot shower and flushable toilet 20 yards away. Please bring your own towels.
Please use that shower for the casita.
We have a moderate climb hiking trail down the road, Cerro Alto, that offers beautiful views of our coastline.
Simply sit back and watch the the wild turkeys and deer roaming freely on our land, or head out to taste some of San Luis Obispo County award winning wines.

Tule elk, prog horn antelope, and valley quail are just some of the animals you may encounter on our ranch. The pond is full of fish (bass, blue gill & sun perch) so don’t forget your fishing poles (catch & release).

Campfires -
We are an ember free site year round due to wildfire risks & insurance purposes. We do however have propane fire pit rentals for $20 per night. - great for roasting s’mores & the ambience of camping. Please do not cook any meals on them. All cooking is to be done in the communal kitchen area.
The summer days can get pretty toasty and the winter nights can get very chilly so check the weather before your stay and plan accordingly. Don’t forget your swim suits as we have soaking troughs for you to cool off in.
-Also please note we are located an hour from the nearest town, no stores or gas stations. Please come fully equipped with your own utensils, cooking essentials, food and beverages. We sell ICE!! $5 per 5lb bag.
We are off grid, there is no electricity, all lights are battery or solar powered. You may want a flashlight or headlamp for walking around at night.

Cellular Service - Verizon is the only dependable steady service out here as we have a Verizon tower on the ranch. All other service is spotty if existent at all.
We are a self check-in site. Upon arrival show yourself to the site following welcome note directions. Check in is anytime after 3pm, but no later than 9pm unless arranged with us (a $20 late fee will apply after 9pm). Check out is 11am on the day of departure.

You can find a Coleman 2 burner camp stove, small charcoal grill (bring your own propane and charcoal), and a brand-new propane heater (bring your own propane; 1lb).
Leave your world behind for a while and come see what this incredible experience has to offer. Whether it’s relaxing in the outdoor theater, partaking in our fun outdoor games, or snuggling up in the hammock chair with a good book, LBH has something for everyone!
Other things to note.
Very rustic cabin. No running water or trash service. We do not live nearby. In order to bring you this unique experience in this remote area, we ask that guests provide their own bedding and clean up after themselves, including packing out trash. There are no services for an hour in each direction, so please bring plenty of water and food and fill up your gas tank. There is a solar shower available for use, as well as a Coleman 2-burner gas stove, a charcoal BBQ and a brand-new propane heater for those cold nights.
Please remember to bring sheets & blankets as we ask that guests do not sleep directly on our brand-new mattress pad.

Welcome to Frog Hollow.
Feel free to hike up to the bench, past the deck, on the hill or over to the chairs and table nest to the field where the sheep and donkey are at the other side of the creek. Keep an eye out in the mornings, you may see a family or two of wild turkeys or deer cruising the property. Kick back, relax and enjoy the tranquility of the seasonal running stream and property.
Situated on 12 acres, our property is a great spot where you can unplug, unwind and simply check out from your daily chaos. Sit back and enjoy the songs of the evening crickets and frogs.
We are located on Hwy 41, a 10 minute drive to the coast, the famous Morro Rock, and 20 minutes from both San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles where you will find shopping, fine restaurants and plenty of local wineries in the area.
We are lucky to have over 300 award winning wineries in our area so if you like wine, this is a great place to tour and taste!
Frog Hollow is perfectly located for the weekend break or a leisurely mid-week holiday. Come visit us and check out our lovely land and quaint comfy living. Sabyl, our Border Collie, is around and may head down to greet you at some point during your stay.
Our free standing casita is cozy and nestled in a natural serene creekside setting. The loft has a spacious queen size bed for your sleeping pleasure with adjustable reading lights on either side of the bed. The living area offers a fold down couch for another adult or 2 kids. There is a kitchenette with a toaster oven, electric tea kettle and coffee maker. There is a charcoal Weber bbq grill and a propane gas 2 burner stove. We provided a propane fire pit during the fire ban, bring propane and charcoal etc.
There is a well lit private bathroom with hot shower and flushable toilet 20 yards away. Please bring your own towels.
Please use that shower for the casita.
We have a moderate climb hiking trail down the road, Cerro Alto, that offers beautiful views of our coastline.
Simply sit back and watch the the wild turkeys and deer roaming freely on our land, or head out to taste some of San Luis Obispo County award winning wines.

We are located about 1 hour east of Paso Robles California a short drive off highway 58 and about 1.5 hours west of Bakersfield.
Carrisa Plains is known for its beautiful display of wild flowers in the spring time, incredible sunny days, and spectacular wildlife viewing. The ranch is also located a short 29 min drive from the Carrizo Plain National Monument and Las Padres National Forest.
Tule elk, prog horn antelope, and valley quail are just some of the animals you may encounter on our ranch. The pond is full of fish (bass, blue gill & sun perch) so don’t forget your fishing poles (catch & release).

Our communal kitchen has : a large gas bbq grill, 3 smaller gas grills
as well as gas burners & sink. **Cleaned & Sanitized DAILY.
There are several counter high prepping tables around the kitchen (please clean up your cooking essentials & food after each meal as everyone shares this space).
Campfires -
We are an ember free site year round due to wildfire risks & insurance purposes. We do however have propane fire pit rentals for $20 per night. - great for roasting s’mores & the ambience of camping. Please do not cook any meals on them. All cooking is to be done in the communal kitchen area.
The summer days can get pretty toasty and the winter nights can get very chilly so check the weather before your stay and plan accordingly. Don’t forget your swim suits as we have soaking troughs for you to cool off in.
-Also please note we are located an hour from the nearest town, no stores or gas stations. Please come fully equipped with your own utensils, cooking essentials, food and beverages. We sell ICE!! $5 per 5lb bag.
We are off grid, there is no electricity, all lights are battery or solar powered. You may want a flashlight or headlamp for walking around at night.

Cellular Service - Verizon is the only dependable steady service out here as we have a Verizon tower on the ranch. All other service is spotty if existent at all.
We are a self check-in site. Upon arrival show yourself to the site following welcome note directions. Check in is anytime after 3pm, but no later than 9pm unless arranged with us (a $20 late fee will apply after 9pm). Check out is 11am on the day of departure.

This is Glamping at its best! We have two cabins that have kitchens with mini frig, microwaves and sinks. Complimentary coffee and tea as well. Very comfortable queen beds. The space
The Little Brave House offers unique accommodations in the middle of this incredible setting. Our off-the-grid cabin offers most of the comforts of home, including a brand new memory foam mattress, upgraded bathroom with comfy Cabela's toilet chair, outdoor theater with 2 incredible gravity chairs, solar shower, solar electricity, outdoor games, internet connection and so many more comfy, clean accommodations.
LBH inhabits a snuggly reading nook with a hanging hammock chair where you can also find some books and games. Solar energy provided outlets for standard 2 prong plugs + 3 prong plug adapters, as well as USB ports. A sweet solar shower available (bring your own water). You can find a Coleman 2 burner camp stove, small charcoal grill (bring your own propane and charcoal), and a brand-new propane heater (bring your own propane; 1lb).
Leave your world behind for a while and come see what this incredible experience has to offer. Whether it’s relaxing in the outdoor theater, partaking in our fun outdoor games, or snuggling up in the hammock chair with a good book, LBH has something for everyone!
Other things to note.
Very rustic cabin. No running water or trash service. We do not live nearby. In order to bring you this unique experience in this remote area, we ask that guests provide their own bedding and clean up after themselves, including packing out trash. There are no services for an hour in each direction, so please bring plenty of water and food and fill up your gas tank. There is a solar shower available for use, as well as a Coleman 2-burner gas stove, a charcoal BBQ and a brand-new propane heater for those cold nights.
Please remember to bring sheets & blankets as we ask that guests do not sleep directly on our brand-new mattress pad.

Weekend Trip to Creekside Glamping in the Canyon
Great Hipcamp, the area is bueatiful and the actual trailer is well stocked and comfortable. The details were a nice touch, and the outdoor shower worked very well.
The only thing to note is that the shared kitchen above the Hipcamp takes away a little bit of the privacy, but other than that, it was such a great stay. Would recommend!

I absolutely loved staying in the cabin. Booked last minute and everything was clean and ready upon arrival. The cabin is 'rustic' meaning not fully insulated from weather and sound but it comes equipped w heaters, ac and even a noise machine to block out outside sound. Bed was comfortable with plenty of extra blankets for the chilly nights and fans to use during the warmer daytime. The only hiccup I had was that the wifi was not working and it was in a dead zone for my cell. Host was immediately responsive but I was never able to get the wifi to work. Town is less then 5 minutes away so I decided to just go without during most of my stay but if this is a deal breaker for you its good to know. Overall its a delightful alternative to pricey hotels in the area or to camping w less amenities and we will definitely be back again next time we are in the area.

My HipCamp experience @ Hazel Homestead was great! The place was extremely convenient to everywhere I wanted to visit (Pismo Beach, Arroyo Grande, Morro Rock/Bay) - anywhere from 10-30 miles. There are so many things to do and visit in the area. I travel in a camper van, so safety, accessibility, and convenience is important for me. The proprietors were there to welcome me, but then left me alone unless I needed them. Hookups to electric and water were easy and very well maintained. The campsite was spotless and modern. Many extras were available such as fresh eggs, cocktail hour in a "tricked out" shed conversion (very well done), fire pit for relaxing in the evenings. In addition, maneuvering in the website with this HipCamp host was set up to make reservations easy. Everything was so well done. I will definitely book here again, as this was one of the best HipCamp sites I have ever stayed.

Although it rained 90% of the time we were there we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property and the sites were wonderful and well kept. Outdoor bathroom is super cute and well stocked. Fire pit (in ground and mobile), chairs, outdoor bbq, picnic table and water hookup at the site. The fresh eggs were delicious and firewood was available for purchase. The pond was stunning. We loved fishing and enjoying a dusk cruise in the paddle boat. I loved that although Nolan and his wife live on the property they gave us our privacy the entire time. If we needed anything, they were available but they gave us our space which we appreciated. Goats were cool too! Highly recommended.

Cool little campsite on Nolan’s farm. Left a day early to beat the rain and wind. But it’s a nice peaceful spot. The rolling hills past the pond is beautiful. If you’re a bass fisherman this is heaven. I caught over 10 bass in 2 1/2 days and my gf caught a bass and bunch of blue girl. Gf loved the animals. Super easy getting ice from the host. Definitely Would stay again. Dipped in the 40s at night but wasn’t bad if you have a fire and a good sleeping bad

This is the ideal location for a private (only 2 sites!), relaxing, and comfortable retreat on the beautiful central coast. The homestead atmosphere is thoroughly charming, and the presence of animals has a tangible "de-stressing" effect. Be sure to buy their delicious farm fresh eggs. Despite its rural "feel" it is close to everything you might need. Lots to see and do within a 45 minute radius, from Solvang to Montana de Oro. The sites are clean and well-maintained, and the hosts have a talent for hospitality. Cesar's "happy hour" made for a memorable conclusion to a long travel day. He makes a great "old fashioned", too.

It was incredibly calm and peaceful in the greenhouse and throughout the property. We could hear the ocean at night. It was really nice to be able to let our pups run around off-leash inside, especially in the morning so I could sleep in. Be sure to bring a towel for the shower.

Nolan's property was a lovely stop for our family. We planned to stop by San Luis Obispo on our way back from LA to visit with a family member but wanted to find a cool spot to check out with our kids (4 &1.5). The kids and I enjoyed walking around the property and saying hi to the chickens, dogs, pigeons (?), calves, horses, sheep, and goats. They also have a feed dispenser to get grains and bugs to feed the chickens. Having the tree shade was so great, as it was cool at the campsite despite temps being in the 90s. The pond was a great addition and my family enjoyed playing cornhole.
Nolan also graciously permitted us to extend our checkout time so we could go explore the Carizzo Plains National Monument nearby. I would be curious as to what it is like during the spring season since it was pretty dry and desolate in the summertime.
This is a really nice spot for families.

2 nights at Canvas Under the Oaks
It was my first time Glamping. And boy was this an amazing spot and experience. Shirley and Matt are so nice and attentive. We had everything we could need. They even had extra blanket and towels. I couldn't believe how large the tent was and it also had an island on the side where we could make coffee (which they were kind enough to provide) and prepare food on. Thanks so much Shirley and Matt for making this a positive experience.

The space was comfy & cozy & had all we needed. The compost toilet & outdoor shower were far cleaner & more pleasant to use than the average campground facilities. Would return!

Weekend Trip to Canvas Under the Oaks
Great location tucked in the hills above Santa Barbara. Pretty close to both downtown and Goleta, about 15 minutes from site.
The glampsite itself was extremely cozy and running shower with hot and cold water in the shack next door with an accompanying toilet. Little sink right one the outside for all bathroom sink needs and doubles as dish washing sink. Right next to that is the freshwater spring tap which might have been my favorite feature. Tasted so clean, better than any water you could buy in a store.
The tent was very clean and tidy, a few bugs here and there but that’s nature for ya. Bed was very comfy and comfortable, and rest of tent area was reasonably spacious. Refrigerator was a lifesaver, as was the fan with the temperature reaching high 80s while we were there.
Some cookware is provided, but did not use it as we got sandwiches in town to bring back for dinner. Deck right out front of the tent was awesome, set some chairs up and looked straight out into the foresty area and felt like we were in a tree house.
Did have service up there surprisingly, but WiFi provided as well. Very satisfied with our experience and will be coming back.

What a magical experience and stay! Great for families, brought our two little ones and they loved the animals, the stars, the passing trains, and the private beach. Pizza oven was a hit! The girls loved making pizza and watching it cook. Also loved exploring the various greenhouses, we left inspired for our own home garden.
Appreciated the fresh drinking water and running water for washing our dishes and showering after a day at the beach!
Beautiful sunsets and moon rises. The lighting in the greenhouse at night was so cozy. Kept our food closed up in a snap lid bin (especially at night) had hungry visitors like raccoons and mice sneaking around.
Overall, fantastic weekend!
