This 1968 Shasta Camper, located in a small garden within an urban neighborhood, sleeps up to four people, with additional space to set up tents if desired. It has a few amenities—some more rustic than others—including AC, refrigerator and freezer, stovetop (oven does not work), sinks, shower, internet, and coffee maker. Located just ten minutes from the Port of Long Beach and the Port of San Pedro, it’s a great launch point for cruise-goers. With swimming beaches only twenty minutes away, it’s an ideal option for a low-cost vacation. The campsite is a large flat area. For a trailer or RV it's a great place to park and the view is towards wide open spaces. With a tent or if you want more pure nature, you can drive out onto the property further towards the small ruin of the old homesteader's cabin or beyond. The property has a long-abandoned gold mine and circular arrastres where miners used mules to break up rocks. Nearby Acton has pick-your-own apples/pears/peaches at Bloom farms. We are at 3000 feet with strong sun during the day and cool mountains air at night. The camping is set away from structures, but if you want to stroll, closer to the ranch buildings, we have friendly small goats you can visit if interested and horses and a donkey to say hello to across the corral fence.

Lots of games for kids to play too, places to sit and catch up with friends and loved ones. A large lot. Very luxurious and picturesque. Location is great with easy access too.

Loren’s property was amazing! It was the perfect spot right outside the city to break in my new camper. He was very helpful when I needed help with understanding my power needs. He’s got a bunch of cool props hanging around the property which were also pretty cool. There’s a great French restaurant down the street that’s perfect for a nice dinner and glass of wine. Definitely recommend!

It’s a very nice spot. We loved all the old west decorative touches. We brought an RV and also rented the “Fearless Mary” airstream. Enjoyed the sunset and early morning views up there. Also dined below by the saloon under the big oak. It’s 25 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to shops and restaurants. The hosts were great. Emphatic thumbs up

Robin was a great host, the views were incredible, there was a hot shower and refrigerator to use, and the location next to the 210 fwy made it so convenient to visit my family during our stay. Robin is a great host, passionate about helping people connect to the land and each other. The land is beautiful, great views, wide variety of vegetation and steep rewarding trails. And the smell of the sage brush and other native plants is amazing. The tent sites are very rustic. There is one small shower (nice hot water!) and a small kitchen equipped with a mini camp stove to be shared by all. These are also rustic, with sand on the floor etc. I stayed at the "Patch of Forest" site and recommend it for quiet if your tent is nice and small.

Weekend Trip to Tiny Tiki Retro Hideaway

This was a gem - and Julia is really awesome. The site has a beautiful view. Incredibly relaxing and lovely to wake up to in the mornings. The outdoor bed and bathtub are such great touches and the little trailers themselves are well equipped and very nicely decorated, clean and cozy. I recommend this spot. It’s a very convenient location and Julia was a wonderful host, even taking us on a great hike that took us to some beautiful views. Go check it out!! We will be returning.
