We are a BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ friendly location. Our family home is conveniently located just off of Highway 14, along Sierra Highway, in Acton, CA. We offer parking in our large driveway with hookups for electricity and well water. You can save money by boondocking if you don't need to plug in or use well water -- just add it as an extra. Please fill your tanks with potable water and/or bring drinking water. Our well water is very hard so we filter. No black water disposal. There are no toilets, laundry, or other amenities. We currently do not have garbage disposal, but will again soon. No smoking or fires allowed. No exceptions. This is a high risk fire area. No leaking vehicles. A $400 fee to cleanup any vehicle leaks. No working on vehicles on the property.

You will park in front of our house in the driveway as far east as you can go and find a level spot. It is a fairly flat spot on a gravel and dirt driveway. The camp hosts live adjacent to your camp site. If you paid for utilities: There is an RV electrical hookup with 30A and 50A and our spigot is available for well water. Please provide a valid ID for each adult at the time of booking. We may decline requests if you aren’t verified on Hipcamp or your profile is not an accurate name, etc. Add any pets as an extra. Your personal vehicle can be parked in front of the garage or in front of our shipping container. If you have a second personal vehicle (in addition to your RV/trailer and car/truck), then please add the second one as an extra.

This is a vacant lot with a concrete slab for you to boondock camp. Please e-mail for approval. Not for short-term stays less than a week. Long-term stays possible for up to 28 days. There's a nearby faucet for well water only. Well water should be filtered because it is very heavy. There is no electricity, sewage, or waste bins on the lot.

This is our small, one-bedroom home that is still being remodeled, but available for "glamping" at our property when marked available. There's a bedroom with a queen bed and two couches that can be converted into single beds, too. We have a bathroom with shower and clawfoot style tub. The kitchen currently does not have a stove or refrigerator, but there's a microwave. The kitchen is not stocked with plates, etc., yet. It is a bit rustic because it was built by my grandfather in the 1940s so it comes with quirky charm and is not meant to be at hotel quality lodging.

Easy to set up on the drive thru drive way. No need to back up! Right by freeway access so it was easy to go visit all the things we wanted to on our vacation. Power hookups was convenient. No water hookup but had well water to fill our RV. Great spot to camp!

My husband and I enjoyed our week stay here at Eli’s! He was very friendly and responded quickly if we texted with any issues. He was patient with us when we had some travel delays and didn’t make it at the time we had hoped. The driveway is pretty level and it was easy to hook up to power. If you’re a big class A like we are, it can be a little tricky to get into the driveway, so definitely take it slow! Some grocery stores, gas stations, and a nice grassy park to take your dog to are all within 5 miles of this spot. For the price, you really can’t beat it!

Quiet and close to the highway

We had our RV parked here for nearly a week and have zero complaints. There is VERY little traffic on the street and nobody ever bothered us. The power connection was perfect and we got great cellular service here as well. We will almost certainly come back and stay again sometime.

Eli was very nice and on top that I was okay. I went with my RV and three kids alone. So it was definitely comforting to know he was alert of the surroundings. We had such a relax stay. Specially during a heat wave the 50 amps really came thru for us. Thank you for hosting us!

I really enjoyed staying at Eli's Acton Oasis. He was very hospitable and so were his camp hosts. He's working on getting water potable, but in the meantime I brought my own. It was very cozy. I parked in front of the house in the driveway. There was enough space for me to have my car next to my motorhome. The location was next to the highway, so it was a bit noisy at night. You get used to it though. You also have to be mindful of how fast people are driving when pulling in and out. Eli was really nice. I was thankful for a safe place to rest my head at night. I will be back soon!

Such close proximity to LA without LA prices! We went into the city almost every day :) The spot itself is level and has high clearance, perfect for the rv. Overall I'd recommend it!

Friendly, easy accommodations

Eli was a very warm host and welcomed us super last minute when our car broke down nearby. He even looked at our engine and gave us advice. Basic accommodations but we felt welcome and comfortable for the evening. Great for a boondocking stop, self contained vehicles would do best here.
