We provide a nice level parking pad with firepit ring, big views of the rolling hills and a short walk to the barnyard. Nights are full of sparkling stars and the big milky way and be seen on clear moonless nights. Bird watching is amazing here too. Our animals include; micro mini cows, minature silky fainting goats, mini horses, mini donkey, mini Kunekune pigs, mini roosters, horses and a pack of the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet. We have partnered with Forever Protected Equine, a non- profit to support the retired working horses on to our pastures wear they can live a natural equine life with friends. This is a critical time for horses well being and safety. Instead of an uncertain future or slaughter they come here to be gently cared for until their sunset day.

Our 42 acres is located at the beginning of the award winning Adelaide Wine trail in Paso Robles.
Our ranch was once home to a horse boarding and breeding ranch which bred Paso Fino horses, known for their beautiful gait.
Having been a horse ranch, it left us with some nice trails that you can enjoy during your stay.
We have some nice uphill walks to view your local surroundings while sitting to enjoy a glass of wine or you morning cup of coffee/tea.
We are on a well out here so at times you may get a sulphur/mineral smell to the water.
Please bring your own drinking/cooking water.
It is safe to shower, my hair feels so much thicker!
On the ranch you will see that we have 2 donkeys, Desi (black) and Lucy (light grey).
Along with our donkeys we have to friendly goats, Fiona (brown) and Sadie (white), they love carrots.
but please stick to one carrot a day each, we don't want to over feed them.
We also have chickens which means have farm fresh eggs. $5 for 1/2 dozen.
Up on the hill you will see Connie a cow and her buddy Samuel, the bull. they love carrots but please do not go into their pasture. She'll think you're bringing food and gets very dangerously excited.
Please feel free to walk the property and become one with nature while observing the local indigenous floral and fauna.

The property is nestled in very quiet part of Atascadero among hundreds of oak trees and nature. There are 5 acres of hills of oak trees, bay leaf trees, frequented by the tree squirrels, deer and birds that live all over the property. The house is occupied and there are chickens and a sweet lab named Maverick. The driveway is easy to get in and out of for a car, truck, camper van, Westie (or same type of camper van); tent campers are welcome too. It's not very easily accessible for large trailers. The neighborhood is very quiet. Water is available by hose by the garage (it's not filtered) and if you have a pet 100% needs to be leashed and please pick up their poop. There's been mountain lion sightings within the last few years. There is no bathroom/cleanout, power or cell service/WIFI. You will be completely disconnected here. Please let us know if you have any questions and we are happy to help! There are some great places to eat downtown as well as for libations. Paso Robles wineries are only 10 minutes down the road; ask for suggestions and winery 2 for 1 tastings. Hope you enjoy your stay!

Camping here was an adventure! Nothing but green hills surrounded us. Olwyn was the sweetest person and very accommodating. Her animals were so fun to meet. The location is great, 20 min from town and 40 from the beach. Close to wineries and some hot springs.

This was the perfect little spot to set up our tent for the night on a road trip up the coast. Just far enough off the beaten path to be quiet and restful, yet still close to the amenities of town and didn't take us too far out of our way. The spot was clean and private enough, with a bathroom nearby. And it was a treat to wake to the donkeys sweet braying!

It is a farm Oasis! No other word for it! It is one of the most peacefull, quiet and calming spot we’ve been to! And just what we needed after the craziness of Los Angeles!

We had an excellent stay and was glad the fog rolled in to cool us off in the evening. The instructions made the whole process simple and pleasant. Would definitely go back if I was going to spend some time enjoying Paso Robles again. Easy straight shot to town and restaurants etc. the airstream was clean and had everything we needed.

This spot is a little peace of heaven. Our drive in from LA, through the Santa Monica National Recreation Area and up the pacific coast highway was one of the most beautiful drives we have ever made. The rolling hills surrounded by farm and vineyard were the perfect setting to close our day. Perfect temps in July and we slept with the windows open and didn’t even run the generator??? Spot was level and clean and great communication from Olwyn. She gave our kids an incredible tour of the farm and let them help with all the animals. Quick stay but would recommend without reservation! A+++

Olwyn greeted us warmly and led us up to a beautiful plateau overlooking the rolling hills and their quaint farm. It felt very private and we loved walking down the visit the animals. The golden hour felt magic here and the stars at night were spectacular!

What an exceptional spot! So peaceful! The hosts are welcoming and warm, just truly good people. Meeting the animals was beyond what I could have imagined. So many cute animals living their best life there under Olwyns amazing care. The kids LOVED it so much and couldn't wait to return to the campsites after our daytrips to greet the dogs. The dogs are such sweethearts and we were so sad to say goodbye. My daughter is still drawing pictures of Lizzy all the time and says she will never forget her. Highly recommend 10/10!

We absolutely loved this spot. My kids and dogs loved the farm since they were able to freely roam the land. It’s a very peaceful spot that overlooks the farm and other hillsides. There is no vehicle traffic noise. The farm animals were very cute and friendly. Olwyn and her husband were super friendly and interactive. My kids loved helping them feed the farm animals in the morning and evenings. We give this spot a 10 out of 10 and will be back in the near future.

We loved our stay at Dana’s ranch! We camped there for two nights and had a wonderful experience. Dana was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. The property has beautiful, private trails perfect for quick hikes. We would absolutely recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back!
