Hilltop Yurt and RV Parking Enjoy a large deck with an outdoor shower and scenic views. The front half of the property features sloping oaks, open space, and a seasonal pond, while the backside is wooded with a path leading down to the creek bed at the base of the hill. Make a campfire, BBQ, pan for gold, and soak up the fresh air. A swing for kids hangs from an oak near the yurt, and other trees onsite are perfect for a hammock. The solar panel powers basic amenities in the 24 ft yurt (2 beds), including the on-demand water heater for the shower. The bathroom is an outhouse. There’s ample space to pitch tents or dry camp in an RV. Please note: The driveway is a bit steep, so 4-wheel drive is preferred.

We want you to have a great stay and avoid any surprises! Heart Valley ranch hosts 300+ acres of rolling pasture nestled along the beautiful Jackass Creek. Access to Yosemite via 120 takes 1 hour , Groveland 10 minutes, and Coulterville 5 minutes. You’ll find cows, goats, chickens, llamas and our two beloved livestock dogs on the property. Many pools to cool off in and sweeping sunset views from the highest point on the property. There is lots of nature to enjoy including bird watching, seasonal wildflowers, and other wild animals. We welcome all ❤️🌈 We highly recommend not bringing any animals, including service animals. We have two livestock guardian dogs that free roam the property and they are not friendly with other animals. IMPORTANT!!! Update jun19th: This year, water levels are lower than usual due to limited rainfall. As a result, swimming at the swimming hole will be closed starting in early July. Weekend Trip to Angels Hideaway

We had a great time at the Angel's Hideaway yurt. Commiunication with Audrey and Michael was A plus to get all the info we needed prior to our stay. It was easy to get to and as described. The property is lovely and felt very secluded. The yurt itself is rustic but that's what we expected and we were prepared. That said there were plenty of amenities beyond just a roof over one's head. Gotta love a yurt! Much more fun/easy in cold and misty weather than tent camping. The wood stove is amazing, the beds were comfy. Would def return in the future!

Weekend Trip to River Oaks Camp

Glamping at the yurt at River Oaks Camp was a peaceful getaway on a lovely property with impromptu visits by deer, turkeys, woodpeckers and toads. Wonderful hosts, friendly dogs, and engaging farm animals, and the river would have been terrific on a hot summer day. Apple Hill farms and businesses are a short drive away. Recommended.

It was a wonderful weekend in a yurt. It had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, there were all the necessary utensils, and there was a gas stove, which we never used. The shower was warm and the sunset was beautiful. Thank you so much, our whole family loved it and we want to come back!

magical spot. I will definitely be back. The New flushing toliet was a major glamping perk. Id say bring ear plugs just in case of barking dogs at night as sound carries in a valley (this is typical for a farm/neighbors to have working dogs staying alert for wildlife etc). Hosts were so dang sweet and the River was beyond perfect for a full day of swimming and relaxation. The steep hike back up to the yurt from the river was quick but could be a challenge for those with mobility issues etc. so pack light to the river. Don't miss this well cared for Oasis!

So good! We booked River Yurt 1 for our anniversary night and it was perfect! When we arrived we walked down to the river and swam. We had a dinner in Placerville, then lit a fire in the fire pit to complete our perfect evening. And though it was a hot day the evening was perfectly cool and we slept so well! Totally recommend!!!

We can't wait to come back to the yurt! Julie and her family were excellent hosts and there was plenty for us to do! The yurt was very large, plenty of room for 4 of us and had lots of extra touches that made it awesome. The perimeter had several solar lights as well as the interior. The site had a large picnic table and the inside of the yurt was amazing. They even took the center top off so we could see the stars. There was plenty to do around the property; from the swimming hole, toad hunting at night, hikes while seeing goats, cows, llamas and chickens, and a small play area for the kids. We loved Heart Valley Ranch!
