Our 11-site campground is situated on Arkansas Hwy 74E, approximately three miles east of Jasper and three miles west of the Hasty Cutoff for quick access to the Buffalo River! This is not a residential campground like so many in the area - it is exclusively for camping enthusiasts!
Being former camping enthusiasts ourselves, we built our RV park to accommodate rigs anywhere from a small popup to campers and motorhomes in excess of 40'. We also created each campsite to provide LOTS of personal space, with campsites being anywhere from 30 feet to 50 feet apart. Each site features a firepit, with small bundles of firewood available for purchase. Picnic tables are also available for your stay. We offer five campsites that are pull-through with full hookups, and six back-in sites that have water and electric only (a dump station is available for your convenience). Also featured is a BEAUTIFUL shower building; one side for the women, and one side for the men. Once you step inside and shut the door, you will have the beautifully tiled shower, toilet and lavatory to yourself until you are finished! Laundry facilities are also available on site - rather than charging exorbitant rates for using the washer and dryer like other RV parks or laundromats, we opted to make it available to our guests for a simple monetary donation. A lockbox is conveniently located in the laundry room for you to drop your donation into. Come stay with us and enjoy the beauty of the Ozarks and Buffalo River country! The White River is famous for its trout fishing. Deer hunting in the area, too. (Not on this property.)

This remote primitive campground is between Kingston and Compton, Arkansas. in the Ozark Mountains of the Boston plateau. The wooded 15 acres is nestled just above a scenic bluff looking south. You can set your tent on our grassy knoll or find a random spot anywhere under our hardwoods or pines. There is one designated gravel site pad for a mid size trailer.
The only roads to Spoken N’ Tru are gravel. I highly recommend taking the gravel route from Kingston. This particular gravel road is 5 miles. If you are pulling a camper this is definitely the best. There is another longer 8 mile option from 412 - south from Dryfork in between Marble and Ozark. The shortest route if from 103 but it has a deep creek crossing and don't recommended unless you have a good 4 wheel vehicle.
The best road to Ponca is County Road 1300 which takes you to Highway 43.
Please keep in mind that Spoke N’ Tru is a cozy but primitive camping site with no amenities so be ready to check your electronics before heading down our gravel roads. Lastly, please read amenity notes, especially regarding waste.

This is primitive, bring-what-you-need camping. We can accommodate tents, vans, and campers of most sizes. No hookups, no frills — just solid ground, fresh air, and space to spread out.

Calico Rocks was centrally located so we could enjoy City Rock Bluffs, Blanchard Caverns, Bull Shoals Lake and the town of Montain Home.
Patricia was a kind and interesting host, and very helpful in helping us order an electric extension for hook up. (The camp spot is farther away than most!) A very quiet and peaceful Hipcamp! We’d love to come back!

Can’t say enough great things about this spot! This was our 5th Hipcamp this week as we are traveling home to Louisiana from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and it was BY FAR the best one. Not only this week, but the best we have ever stayed at overall. When we pulled in, Shane came to greet us. He gave us local dining and hiking recommendations & was so kind, letting us know if we need anything at all to contact him. The property was spotless, not a blade of grass out of place. The layout of the sites was so well thought out. They were huge, giving plenty of space between each camper. It was nice to have access to full hookups and also trash disposal. And can we talk about the bathroom/shower!!!! Easily the biggest and best we have experienced. Could have spent an hour in the shower!!! It was so convenient that firewood was offered and you can pay onsite. Neat little laundry room that you can use for a donation. Such a cool park, great setup, great owners. Only downside was we only had time to stay 2 nights. Will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.

We were met by hosts shortly after arrival. They were very welcoming! The sites are spacious, the meadow view, gorgeous! The hookups are very convenient with sewer drainage at the site & potable water available. I loved being able to buy additional wood with an honor-system for payment. The restroom is a highlight with a wonderful shower & very classy accommodations !! Very pleasant stay.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I’d love to share how amazing this little campground is. We stayed at site 6 which gives you a little extra space and privacy. The campground overall is SO clean and quiet. The restrooms/shower were very well kept…the showers are such a nice touch to have a hot shower after a day on the river! You are close to everything here…I promise you won’t regret choosing this place! We will definitely be back.
Things to note, there is a nice dump station on site. It takes less than 10 minutes to get to downtown Jasper. The owner came by and personally met us to know we were being taken care of! The sites are level, clean and the whole place is picture perfect.

LOVED this spot. So well thought out, the location was so convenient, everything was well manicured and it was overall just really peaceful and beautiful. There was no wind like the last RV park we stayed at in Ponca and the bathrooms were really clean and spacious (although there's only one per gender!). It backs up to farm land and is separated by a barbwire fence you can hear the frog and crickets at night. We were the only trailer there during this trip which felt extra special - but site #6 has a great angle and space to it for a little extra privacy.

This was an absolute hidden gem. One of my favorite stays to date! Highly recommend this to anyone who wants an amazing getaway in the middle of the Ozarks. I stayed for a week during the month of April and the weather was fantastic. There were many hiking trails and access points to the rivers nearby. The owners of this RV park are the kindest people ever. The free to use washer and dryer units by the bathrooms were a huge plus. Would love to stay here again!
