The wood stove kicks out a ton of heat to keep you toasty while you sip on steamy hot chocolate that is provided for your enjoyment. Gather around the propane operated firepit in the backyard for some R&R. Bring a hammock 'cuz there are unlimited opportunities for stringing one up! Tons of activities will keep you occupied, including hiking and biking on the nearby Arizona Trail (just 1/2 mile away), or even sledding on your very own private 2 acre piece of paradise! What's even better is the property backs onto the National Forest, for unlimited enjoyment of nature. In the evening crack open a book, or start playing a game with your besties to close out a long day. The property is completely off the grid, making it very appealing to those travelers and adventurers who want to create a minimal carbon footprint on their vacation. The kitchen sink has a hand pump that draws water from under the sink from a 10 gallon water jug. You can refill the jug as needed from a hand pump located in the back yard. There is solar powered lighting and a USB phone charger station. There is no electrical power available. Cell service is available in the area depending on your carrier. The outdoor composting toilet is super clean with little or no odor. The cabin is located at 8200' in the San Francisco Peaks in the pines and aspens. Snowshoe or cross country ski, go sledding or snowmobiling, or just good old fashioned relaxation will make the time fly by. You have the entire road to travel on and maneuver around the big bumps. I drive my car to the property ever time and don't have an issue if I slow down and go around large holes. If there is a recent storm in the area the road will be difficult to navigate.

Spent one night on Luciano's peaceful and beautiful property. Luciano met us on arrival and gave us a quick tour before letting us settle in. A picnic table and a fire pit and a nice piece of level ground surrounded by trees provided the perfect place to camp and unwind after a long day of driving. And the night sky was one of the most brilliant we've ever seen. Highly recommend this site and the host!

We had an amazing long weekend at the cabin! The kitchen and cabin were fully stocked with everything we needed, and the clear instructions made every aspect of our stay simple and enjoyable.

this is the perfect cabin retreat to escape a busy life and a busy world. I wanted to disconnect from everything and I found the perfect spot.. this cabin is located in a small community and I heard no leaf blowers, ATV noise, or car noise. The only sounds were bird song and the wind blowing through the Aspens. I enjoyed the off grid aspect of this cabin. There were solar lights in the evening and a hand pump at the kitchen sink for water.. I spent most of my time on the front porch, reading books, and watching a little bird build a nest up in the rafters of the porch. The COmmunity is high and cool at 8200 feet elevation.. I was surrounded by majestic Aspen and pines. I highly recommend this cabin retreat if you want to escape the world and get back to nature. No asphalt and no noise made it perfect for me.. The host was very responsive and we had no issues.

The Glamper Cabin is so cozy and well appointed. It was the perfect escape from the Texas heat. We spent most of our time on the porch watching birds, playing cards and just soaking up the quite mountain air. We got just enough service to play music but were able to stay pretty shielded from the rest of the world. Very tranquil stay.

1 night at Highland Grand Canyon Glamping

We loved staying at Highland. The hosts have really put so much effort into sharing the beautiful land they're on with others, including water and power. The showers were super clean and comfortable and the beds super clean and cozy as well. Keep in mind the temperature extremes - I think the tent heated up too quickly in the morning/early afternoon and it got very cold at night. Fortunately the tent has a heated mattress that kept us warm! Finally, try to book a stay during a cleared sky new moon night. You won't forget the sight of the Milky Way from here.

This cabin was perfection. It was immaculately clean. We sat on the front porch, read our books, listened to the birds, and RELAXED. We sighted deer out the back window both nights. It was just what we needed.

This property is stunning and such an amazing get away. We loved all the hiking trails nearby and the escape from our normal lives. We celebrated our daughter’s birthday up here and she loved every minute. Super cute, clean, and lots of great activities!
