Hey everyone! If you’re trying to lock down 4th of July plans, you already know spots up here in Northern Arizona are filling up fast. I’m opening up a 1-acre spot for the holiday weekend, and it’s perfect if you want to grab your crew, load up the toys, and actually have some breathing room. This is a 3-day weekend booking (Arriving Friday, July 3rd – leaving Monday morning, July 6th) for a bigger group of up to 10 people. It’s the perfect size for two families to roll in together, unpack, and set up the layout exactly how you like. 🚜 Bring the Toys & the Rigs Space for Wheels: Got ATVs, dirt bikes, or trucks? Bring 'em. Big Rigs: I have enough room to accommodate an RV up to 40 feet. Just do me a favor: shoot me a message ahead of time with your exact setup so I can double-check the clearance for you before you roll in. 🌵 Pure Dry Camping (Pack It In, Pack It Out) This is a total off-grid, rugged dry camp. No water, no hookups, no trash cans. You’ll need to haul in all your own water and completely handle/pack out your own waste and trash. Let's keep the high country clean! 🌲 The Launchpad The property is sitting in a great spot to explore the area: Cruise into Williams or Flagstaff for food and classic high-country vibes. Head north for a day trip to the Grand Canyon. Hit up some nearby lakes for a morning of fishing. 🎯 Holiday Note: The 4th is always a mad house for camping up here. If you want a full acre to yourselves to relax, drop your gear, and hit the trails, shoot me a message to confirm your rig size and let's lock it in!⛺ High-Country Holiday: 4th of July Family Tent Camping at Sidewinder Primitive Tent Sites | Wide Open Spaces | Starry Family Adventure Looking to escape the packed holiday campgrounds and overcrowded RV parks this 4th of July? Bring the kids, pack the tent, and head out to Sidewinder Camp for a classic, unplugged Arizona high-desert experience. If your family loves wide-open spaces, spotting wildlife, and exploring the rugged beauty of the high country, this is your perfect holiday basecamp. 🌌 The Night Show: Nature's Own Fireworks While we’re miles away from the noisy city fireworks, our dark night skies put on an even better show. Because of our elevation and clear air, the stargazing here is world-class. Introduce the kids to the Milky Way, count shooting stars, and enjoy a peaceful, quiet night under a blanket of constellations. 🔥 Important Holiday Update: Safe Camping & Fire Restrictions To keep our beautiful desert and community safe, strict fire restrictions are currently in place. This means no open campfires are permitted this weekend. We’re making the most of it, and your kids will love it too! Here is how to keep the fun going without the flames: Light Up the Night: Swap the campfire for fun LED lanterns, colorful glow sticks, or fairy lights to decorate your family tent. Stargazing Secrets: With zero campfire smoke in the air, the stars are going to be exceptionally bright and crystal clear this weekend. Camp Cooking: You are welcome to bring self-contained propane camp stoves for cooking up your holiday meals! 🌲 What to Expect at Sidewinder: Pure Tent Camping: This listing is dedicated entirely to traditional tent campers looking for an authentic, primitive pitch. Space to Roam: Plenty of room for the kids to explore nature during the day and run around under the big Arizona sky. Primitive & Off-Grid: Come prepared to pack-in and pack-out, teaching the kids the principles of respecting the wild landscape. Give your family a 4th of July weekend they’ll actually remember—full of fresh air, big views, and bright stars. Book your tent site today before the holiday weekend fills up!
