Booking again!
Camp ground is gorgeous with the most adorable pond in the middle. The bathrooms are HEATED which was nice because the weather was way colder than we expected. There was big covered patio with supplies which was perfect because we needed more firewood. LOVE the venmo option. There were also power plugs so we were able to charge our phones when our portable battery was low. WILL book again but in the summer!

Great Little Campground
Zion Family Campground was really nice and very quiet. The bathrooms were wonderful and clean. Easy access between Bryce and Zion. There are not many options for nearby dining so be prepared before you arrive.

Scenery out of a calendar!
We had an amazing time camping in a RV spot! Our 30 foot travel trailer fit perfectly with room to park the truck. We have so many good things to say about this place! The bathrooms were amazing and so nice to use with a HUGE shower! The area is absolutely beautiful! Lydia’s Canyon is a dream come true! A run down Lydia’s Canyon gravel road was the most beautiful non trail run I’ve ever done. Fishermen- the pond has bass so come prepared! I wished I had some top water baits because the pond has quite a bit of vegetation! We caught some bass with crank bait and rattle trap! A few dogs were wondering around (a corgi and a German shepherd) the campground and they were very sweet! They both gladly came in our trailer to say hi when my daughter invited them in. The location of this campground couldn’t be better. It’s almost perfectly in the middle between Bryce and Zion. The small towns of Kanab and Orderville were great places to hangout and find good food!

Great location and privacy. Short drive to Zion and Bryce. Left our gear setup and left for the day and all our stuff was untouched when we got back. The firewood on site was perfect, it was a little cold when we were there. Would definitely stay here again!

Favorite Utah Campground
I really don’t want to describe how amazing our stay was because we’ll advertise our way out of a great experience! Soft grassy meadow campsites, spread out for privacy, fire rings, wood readily available, two super clean and well-stocked heated bathrooms with plenty of hot water, quiet by 8pm, just enough light at night for the bathrooms, sweet pavilion for gathering (we met camp neighbors there) and free stable Wi-Fi. And a perfect base camp location for Zion, Bryce and about 4 other parks. Groceries and gas close enough in Orderville. We will be back next year!

This is an incredible site. My four kids called it paradise. The lush grass tent sites next to well stocked pond is every kid (and many grown ups) idea of heaven. My kids had so much fun catching and releasing fish every morning while I made breakfast. The ground was pretty level and comfortable. The grass was so soft, walking on it shoeless was like treading on plush carpet. Clean bathrooms and amazing warm showers with great water pressure. Incredible location—so convenient to Zion, Bryce, and the assortment of Grand Escalante Staircase beauties. It’s quiet and well planned. The firewood is affordable dry and burns beautiful. My husband is already our trip back to the area and wants to double our time at Zion Family Camp! Thank you for sharing your oasis.

RV PULL-IN SITE 1
Private site.
Signage would help on approach and each RV site. Sewer is only available at sites 3&4 we thought it was included in each site. We were Assigned site 1 with no sewer service. When tent spots are full there aren’t fire rings available to RVers. Would be nice to have fire ring at RV spots. Would also be nice to have chairs at fire rings. It’s quite a was to walk with chairs, fire wood and anything’s else we wanted at the fire ring. WI-FI was great at pavilion. We were too far from the pavilion to access unless we were at the pavilion.

Off leash doggie Disneyland!
What a great find! It was our first time booking with Hipcamp and I’m so impressed! We had no trouble finding it and our campsite was amazing! It had electricity and water, but no sewer. But, spots 3 and 4 had sewer and no one was in spot 4 on our last day, so easy to dump before we left (although we didn’t.) Camping and RV spots are roomy. The wi-fi was pretty bad, but I was able to upload a video at the group pavilion in a pinch. We will be back!

The space is breathtaking. In the morning we watched a flock of wild turkeys enjoy their breakfast. Plenty of space between campers. Hook ups are always appreciated by RV campers too. There is a bit of road noise but not enough to ruin the peaceful experience.

10/10
We loved tent camping in Betty’s land! Beautiful land, clean restrooms, hot water for shower, on site wood and propane tanks for those who forgot to bring some. Wish we could’ve stayed longer, definitely plan to return, our 4 year old daughter did not want to leave. The first night we stayed there were 2 dogs, I assume Betty’s, they were super respectful and sweet to us. Even my husband who isn’t a dog person kept waiting for them to show up the second night. If you’re not a dog person you may not like them but honestly they are so well behaved and friendly it’s hard not to like them. They slept outside our tent for a little the first night it was pretty cute. Betty’s is approx 30-45 mins from Duck Creek, Bryce Canyon, Dixie Forest. Perfect place to travel with small ones, go explore and come back to a hot shower and continue your adventure in the campground.

A pleasant stay
Betty’s campground was in a beautiful area. She had a large pavilion big enough for all campers to use as well as kayaks, canoes, life jackets, propane exchange, and plenty of good firewood. Each site was equipped with a very nice fire grate. Banquet tables were stored at the pavilion and there for anyone to take to their campsite or leave set up in the pavilion. There was a dish washing station including dish soap for campers to use. Also two bathrooms with large showers were available for campers. There was a well pump at the pavilion to get delicious potable well water. There were ample flat spaces for tents. Some areas of improvement (which isn’t much as the campsite is so nice) would be to clean the bathrooms more often. If campers were expected to clean it, supplies, brooms, etc should be supplied.

Nature is all we need
It was a beautiful nature birthday celebration for my daughter. We had 3 of the campsites. It was peaceful, clean, the views were amazing and our family enjoyed every minute of our stay. We look forward to a future extended stay.

The views (especially nighttime stars) are great. The camping spots are grassy and clean. The bathrooms were so nice for what you typically get while camping, and they were fairly clean. Loved having the Pavilion space, too!

RV PULL-IN SITE 4
There was a bit of confusion as I booked RV site #4 via the HipCamp App which was under construction when we arrived however we were able to utilize RV site #2. My wife and I enjoyed the fact that there was no other RV campers for the majority of a week in the other sites which made it feel more like boondocking with electric and water hookups. Our dogs really enjoyed being off leash for the majority of the 5 nights we stayed. Overall it was a great trip and good location if you want to visit both Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. I would highly recommend staying at Zion Family Campground to anyone wanting to avoid the larger more crowded RV campgrounds but still have the same amenities.

Not what we expected
This place almost seemed like a scam. We expected something way different. We were the only people camping here and it was kinda creepy. It’s close to the road so you can hear trucks all night and the cows across the road mooing. And a sketchy truck parked next to our tent after dark and sacred the shit out of us. Didn’t feel very safe. Bathrooms were okay but needed cleaned.

Awesome place! The pavilion is so cute and has tables, chairs, and wood for purchase (and probably other stuff you would need). When we let her know the wood was out, they put more out quickly! Didn’t have to check in or out either, which is a plus.

Tent in an RV spot
The ranch was beautiful. Super nice to have a bathroom with a shower and dish sink! They answered quickly whenever I had a question. The pond area is really cool too! But only for tents. It was a busy weekend, and while we don’t have an RV, we stayed in an RV spot. The RV spots did not have a fire pit which was a downer, but was able to use an extra one near the pond. Thanks for the stay!

Great location just outside of Orderville (about an hour to Zion). Property was just beautiful! My kids loved the little lake, kayaks and canoe. The bathrooms were so well maintained and it was so so nice to take a hot shower after a few days shower free camping! Highly recommend.

Don't show up after dark!
Campground was nice enough. Hot showers and dish cleaning station were great. Pavilion structure and provided amenities were convenient. However their signage is really bad for the hipcamp sites, they seem to be an afterthought. It was entirely unclear which site was ours when we arrived at dusk. We ended up driving around to find it, and getting our campervan stuck with a wheel in their pond... Host nowhere to be seen, we spent an hour and a half to get from entrance to campsite due to this problem. It's also quite buggy by the pond itself.

The kids loved it!
We absolutely loved the serenity and the little extras (tables and chairs) provided to make the experience more comfortable. The environment was beautiful, and the bathrooms were clean. The dishwashing station was the icing on the cake. We can’t wait to come back. The kids loved roaming and exploring the property!
