We (Tim and Victoria) moved out to our place in the desert in February 2008 along with our many plants. We have continued to grow our little farm of 6 acres to what it is today, which includes an orchard with about 50 fruit and nut trees and enclosed garden/greenhouse structures with veggies and herbs that are protected from wildlife and the elements. We have a seasonally heated pool with 3/4 wraparound deck and amazing views of the Tucson Mountains. We have a basketball court, a ping pong table, cornhole court as well for recreation. Our Beach site has a domed 'chill zone' with heaters in the winter, comfortable chairs for relaxation and a great spot to let your dog hang out unleashed. Tent camping right next to emus, where I’ll recommend! Enjoyed a two day stay here. People were quiet and kind, spaces are all nicely dispersed, and the location was great for us to avoid the hustle and bustle but enjoy a weekend exploring all around Phoenix.
If you can, recommend bringing your own campfire ring. Not all spots have fire pits.
Water spigots all over the campground, and that was great as well!

Toni & Karl’s property was safe, clean, and FUN. Wish I was in more of a social mood when I arrived, but I was ready for bed!
There was a little something for everyone. They had Dirty Dancing projecting onto the wall over their pool when I visited & a few tables of smiling faces.
I was worried about finding a spot to rest my head with the annual Tucson rock & gem show being in town, but Toni & Karl pulled through for me last minute. I arrived in just a SUV, and they made room for me. Very kind & welcoming! 10/10 recommend!

Great place on a piece of property in the middle of nowhere. There are distant mountains to the east and west and some nice trees and bushes surrounding the site.
There are neighbors 100 yards away but you have plenty of privacy. Beautiful stars and a distant lightning storm the night we were there

Hosts were super welcoming, available, friendly and helpful. The property was a little sanctuary oasis in an otherwise residential area, which surprised us when we first arrived as we thought it was more remote, but it really feels that way when you’re inside the property. Lots of beautiful shady citrus trees and flowery bushes. Our kids enjoyed the lawn area, swing, pool and play area so much, we didn’t do much else during our stay in Tucson besides enjoy right where we were. Also enjoyed walking the dirts roads and the Mountain View.
