My dogs and I LOVED this spot!! It’s rare to find such a private oasis in such an urban area but that’s what this is. The elec hookup for my van was ideal as well as being able to top off my water tank—such a bonus! The table and chairs were so nice to get out of my vehicle and sit outside drinking coffee and oh my gosh the fire pit and firewood provided— I used it every night! I had room to do yoga outside without feeling watched like I do in campgrounds. It was one BLOCK away from the loop and since I was in Tucson to ride bikes w friends, that was so ideal. The hosts are the kindest nicest people. We will definitely be back!!! My dogs loved being able to roam in the completely fenced off yard. They rarely get to be that free. We slept well and really enjoyed our time here. Many thanks for creating such a magical and safe spot Sophia!!!

Had a really great stay in The Cannonball. The little cabin was super cute and cozy, and Jennifer gave us a mini tour when we arrived which was such a nice touch. She was very reachable the whole time and genuinely warm and hospitable. The paths around the property are really well lit, which made walking around at night easy. Everything was clean, peaceful, and quiet. The only sounds we heard were wildlife, which made it feel even more relaxing. We also really appreciated having access to a toilet, sink, and shower. That made the stay way more comfortable. The only small thing is the cabin could use a bit more insulation for warmth, but the host mentioned they’re already working on a solution for constant heat flow. And the stargazing out there is AMAZING.

Toni & Karl’s property was safe, clean, and FUN. Wish I was in more of a social mood when I arrived, but I was ready for bed! There was a little something for everyone. They had Dirty Dancing projecting onto the wall over their pool when I visited & a few tables of smiling faces. I was worried about finding a spot to rest my head with the annual Tucson rock & gem show being in town, but Toni & Karl pulled through for me last minute. I arrived in just a SUV, and they made room for me. Very kind & welcoming! 10/10 recommend!

Nice piece of land for relaxing out of the city. I had a few days of work to do, and the Wi-Fi was adequate for emails and a Zoom call. The outdoor shower was amazing, and the host was responsive and kind. The only downside was an abundance of flies, possibly because I was near the chicken coop or just a fluke of the time of year. Not terrible, but if you want to be in your camper with the door open, a screen is advisable!

Beautiful spot nestled right where you want to be in Tucson. The host is super friendly and accommodating. The gate provides privacy and peace of mind while traveling. Our dogs loved running around and getting to relax outside the trailer. You’ll be close to delicious food and great hiking trails, and short drive from downtown. My partner and I spent a single night of our cross-country road trip here when we passed through the desert. And all I can say is that I wish we had spent a couple of weeks there. It was a remarkable place that Jennifer and Craig are building step by step. You will hear a little lost highway noise and rumblings of coyotes, horses and a few cats at night - but walking into an instant community makes up for all that. The tent is wonderful with communal shower (great hot water) and loo. A communal kitchen with amenities is available to come back to the the tent and cook on the propane grill. It was idyllic. A great way to cap off a trip. I will be back.

The campsite was overlooking a beautiful view of Tucson. Barb was an excellent host. The campsite was on her large beautiful property which we were able to walk around and explore. There was water available along with a shower and toilet for us very close to the campsite. A few other people live on the property and were incredibly welcoming. She even had some super nice horses we would greet every morning. We were staying on Sunday night and she invited us to join her and some other people who are staying on the campground to watch the Super bowl. Really enjoyed our time. She even gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants.
