Hiking and horseback riding trails lead directly from the property into Spur Cross Conservation Area—or take a short 10-minute drive to a main trailhead. Black Mountain Hiking Trail is also nearby and offers panoramic views of the valley. You can even ride your horse into town and tie up at the local cowboy bars! ⸻ A few things to note: • The landscape varies with the season—there won’t be green grass in the summer • Please keep pets away from cactus—they bite! • We’re located in a desert neighborhood, so please respect the nearby homes. Right outside our entrance going North on 80th Street you can hike over to the Grapevine Wash which is a short walk away from the Cave Creek Town Trail System for hiking and horseback riding, and if you’re adventurous you can hike up 2 miles of a 800’ climb on a gravel road/trails to “Mexican Hat” for an even more incredible view! We are a 30 amp full hook up (sewer, water & electrical) for 33’ RV’s and living quarters horse trailers. You will also have access to our community laundry area, with a large garbage can to dump a bag if needed. Some suggestions for town; Grab some quick delicous breakfast and coffee at Janey’s. Or American cuisine lunch at The Horny Toad, a Mexican cuisine dinner while watching the turtles in the pond at El Encanto! Ofrenda, right at the end of the road, also has great authentic Mexican cuisine. Many restaurants to choose from all within a short drive. Bashas, Safeway, Target, and Walmart and Sprouts are all within a 3-6 mile drive too! We have two turnout pens for horses. That are located right behind where you will park your trailer. They both have a cover that provides some shade, as well as running water. We do not provide any feed, so please make sure you bring some! We ask that you please do not feed any horses that do not belong to you. Or go into any pen that your horse is not in. For safety and respect :) Thank you in advance. Great spot to stay while exploring the Prescott area! Nice level spot with everything we needed- electric, water, sewer, fire pit and wood! Max went above and beyond to make sure we knew how to get there, where to park and to make sure we were comfortable. Bonus- we got to see javelinas every day! Host and neighbor house are near where you park, but we still felt private and everyone was very friendly.

Macy’s place was perfect for us! Quick drive to get out of Phoenix. Not too rustic, plenty of creature comforts, yet out of town with VIEWS and peaceful country setting. The ranch animals were a hit for my little girl. It was a three minute drive back to town for morning coffee. Brought it back to the trailer and enjoyed the peaceful, quiet morning. Macy and family were very accommodating. Her place felt very safe. Pet friendly was a plus.

I loved parking my little trailer on Kevin's property in Strawberry, AZ. The views around his ranch are beautiful. It's very quiet as well. Kevin was very responsive, and the place was easy to find. It was so nice to have access to a bathroom/toilet/shower on his property, as well as a little fridge. His fee was very reasonable. Access to his gym/weights/machines was an added bonus. What a great find! I highly recommend!

My friend and I stayed in the Trailer at the ranch and it was so special! It was easy to find and the nearby town was super cute. Macy was easy to get ahold of and we had so much fun meeting her Pigs. We also did the hour long horse ride and it was a highlight of our trip. Would definitely recommend!

We had a truly unique and peaceful stay at this RV spot! If you're an animal lover or just looking for a relaxing rural experience, this place is a hidden gem. Waking up to the sounds of cows and goats right outside was a refreshing change from the usual RV park vibe. It was fun watching them graze and interact throughout the day. It really added charm and personality to the stay. The site itself was clean, level, and had all the basics we needed. Hosts were welcoming and responsive, happy to answer questions and even introduced us to a few of the animals.
