But above all, we have a private gate leading to the BLM land situated right next to the RV pad! Feel free to use it to go and explore, maybe even hike down to the river. Don't be surprised if you see people on horseback, as this is a very popular equestrian area. There are tons of sightseeing opportunities around us, such as Bisbee (be sure to check out Old Bisbee, and the Bisbee Breakfast Club for some amazing food), Tombstone (OK Corral puts on a very entertaining show), Cartchner Caverns State Park, Coronado National Memorial. All within a short drive from here. If you'd like to visit Mexico, you can cross at Naco (about 15 minute drive) or at Douglas (about 45 minutes) Lots of restaurants in Sierra Vista, but we recommend trying Mimosa Pizzeria, or La Sierra Steakhouse, both just a 10 minute drive down the road, along with Dollar General for your immediate needs. Say howdy to the cows on your way in and say goodbye to the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy the peace and quiet or saddle up and check out the local tourist attractions. Just a stones throw from historic Tombstone and the OK Corral and just around the bend from Bisbee and the copper queen mine; an old mining town with a new fangled twist. This slice of paradise is up high lonesome road off of Gleeson road. Follow high lonesome rd for a couple miles and then go through the white painted steel push gate. Some times the ranch dogs are loose and they bark and act scary but they won’t do anything. Just ignore them if they are there(it’s not too common). Continue on that road until a slight right down a steep incline onto silver bill rd. There is one more slight right to remain on silver bill rd and then you should be home free. Follow the road down the hill. Our gate is where silver bill rd. dead ends on the left hand side. Weekend Trip to RV sites, mountain view!

RV Ranch is located in a beautiful spot of Cochise County. Gorgeous view of Cochise Stronghold and surrounding ranges. It’s a working ranch so you’ll hear animal noises which added to the peace of the place for me. Full hookup, very level site made it a breeze to get settled quickly. I was so fortunate to witness the great crane migration during my stay. Thousands of them made their way to their winter home right overhead. Truly amazing. Highly recommend RV Ranch to anyone visiting this stunning area of AZ.

I work out of town occasionaly and dont like to waste money on motel rooms. Itd great there are places like this where someone can just pitch a tent, and enjoy the quietness of the outdoors. The campsites themselves were great. A small open area surrounded by trees. There were chairs provided around campfire pits. A portapotty was provided, which is a great benefit you dont get while rustic camping. The price was unbeatable! I will definately be back to spend some more time with the awesome hosts, and the adorable animals!

Our family needed a last minute spot to spend the night and refill water for our RV. The host was flexible and made sure we knew where to go since we arrived at night. Once we arrived, someone came to greet us and helped us park into our spot and set up. The location is walking distance to historic Tombstone town. Our family was able to walk over in the morning for a nice breakfast at Longhorn and explored the wonderful town before heading back on the road. A great refreshing stop for us.

Weekend Trip to Willow Whisper

Mesquite Meadows is as beautiful as pictured! The night sky, the sunset and sunrise from this spot is breathtaking. But the sights pale in comparison to the warmth and kindness demonstrated by Attila and Heather. As this was our "first full hook up run" with our RV they were happy to offer help if any was needed which was reassuring. In addition to that you can only imagine the joy we felt when Heather provided a fresh pint of homemade vanilla ice cream "which just finished churning." Needless to say, that was the first thing on the list -- finish that ice cream! What a lovely touch! We will absolutely be returning to Mesquite Meadows and enjoy the warmth, kindness, sights and peacefulness this Hipcamp offers. Highly recommended!

Amazing view of the mountains! This is a rural neighborhood with lots of 1-5 acre lots. It’s a perfect spot to be for, hiking, birding, mt biking. The river is close too. Tombstone, Bisbee, Kartchner Caverns and wine country all close for site seeing. Lisa and Dean are great and are creating a very cool space for art and healing. I loved walking the labyrinth!

The Lazy Horse Ranch is easy to get to off of the main road. I had a great night at Lazy Horse Ranch. It was quite and comfortably. The hook ups were in working order. I even got some much needed rain. I checked out the horses, the library, there was a place to make coffee, do laundry. They had information about trails in the area. Maybe I will bring my horses out for a horsey vacation in the future. Thanks for the nice stay.

We were nestled in close to the animals. We could watch the horse and goats play.

This was an incredible find! It ended up being exactly what we were looking for. It is about a mile down a dirt road, bordering a huge tract of BLM land. We have a 44’ fifth wheel and had plenty of room. When we arrived Heather greeted us with a loaf of fresh baked sourdough bread. Attila met us and helped us get set up. The site has full hookups and is level. They were available throughout the stay and we fell in love with the fresh well water. Seriously, the flavor of the water is amazing. Their golden retriever adopted us and is so sweet. The mountains provided the perfect backdrop every night. Tombstone, Sierra Vista and Bisbee are close by. We stayed here for 2 1/2 months and loved it. Would not hesitate to come back again.

We loved our stay with Attila and Heather. They met us at the site and assisted us getting set up. Heather also had homemade sourdough bread for us. The site has full hookups and borders thousands of acres of BLM land. It was exactly what we hoped it would be, remote, gorgeous and safe. It is about one mile down a dirt road, but plenty wide enough for our big rig. We have a 44’ fifth wheel and the site was big enough for us. One of the most surprising parts of the site was the well water. We loved the flavor of the water. The hosts are amazing and generous. We really enjoyed our time with them and would love to stay here again. It was about 25 minutes to Sierra Vista, Tombstone and Bisbee.
