We are out of the city and when the sun goes down there is no city lights and all you hear is the sounds of the coyotes talking. The days are quiet and calm. If you have a side by side with you, there is immediate access to the desert to ride for miles.

Property is quiet, safe and peaceful. It’s like being in the country but you still have fantastic cell service! We have room to store up to 4 horses with our mare motels as well as an 100x300 arena right on the property. Fully fenced. Outhouse on sight if you are spending the day working with your horses and don’t want to dirty your RV. Furry friends are welcome as long as you don’t leave them unattended as we have coyotes roaming as well. Close to all amenities, 15 min to Cave Creek, 30 min to Scottsdale, 40 min to Phoenix. We are happy to announce that we have upgraded our front gate. It is now set back farther off of the road and is 20 feet wide. Extra large rig friendly! We do short term bookings 29 days or less. No monthly rates, sorry! We are dog friendly, but PLEASE do not show up with dogs without indicating in your booking that you are bringing them. Julie’s property is private, clean and well maintained. This was our 3rd stay at this property and we look forward to the stay every time. We always have a relaxing time while we are on property and enjoy the views and all of the scenery near by. Traffic in the area is extremely light with groceries and shopping close Excited for our stay next year. Julie is a welcoming host and it has always been great to see her when we arrive.

This spot was fantastic!! Nice and private on our part and the hosts part. We did not feel like we were intruding on her space and she kept her distance making us feel like it was our own private spot. The views were beautiful. It was nice being in town and close to everything but not feeling like we were in the middle of the city! The animals were a huge bonus. Our boys loved seeing them and hearing them every morning. The communication was fantastic. The rules/expectations were very clear and reasonable. We will definitely keep this in mind for future travels.

Your camping in the backyard of a house on a 2 acre plot. Although it appears to be suburban and the lot is walled/fenced on three sides there is an astonishing amount of wildlife here. Flocks of doves, coveys of quail, tons of rabbits, other birds and we could hear coyotes every morning. The Suarouro (sp?) Cactus are really impressive if you've never been right up close to one. Our stay was quiet and peaceful, and Louise let me park the sprinter under the shade next to the corral... That was huge for keeping the van cool in 105 Phoenix weather. Thank you for that. The place is 20min from Mayo Clinc so we will definitely be back. And yes... we got a fantastic loaf of homemade bread.

This is one of the most wonderful places I have ever stayed! Julie is a super host, so kind and checks in to be sure everything is in order. Great facility, private area separated from the house. Nothing else is available anywhere in the Santan Valley. Fenced area, great for dogs.

Very welcoming reception. Louise has got a big terrain. It is quiet and fully hook up is available. Louise is a very good host, respects your privacy. As a welcome gift she brought us home made cheese cake, so nice. Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved staying with Julie! Her property is quiet and secluded, but also so convenient to everything you could need. Julie is so nice! She welcomed us to the property and we had great conversations when we saw her on the ranch. The site is just as expected, easy to get in and to park. The power and water worked like a dream. The site was peaceful, private, and provided all of the amenities needed for our stay. The location was great for us...close enough to family, but just far enough away 😉 We brought out off road bikes, so proximity to trails was great! We highly recommend staying at Troy's and will definitely stay here again next time we pass through.
