A little slice of camping heaven, 41 acres with 800 feet of water frontage on Styx River. YaYa's is a completely primative or boondocking campground and swim area with porta pottie available. There is hot showers available at truck stop about a mile away and they have a dump station for those in RV. Come enjoy all the natural beauty or we are within an hour of hundreds of things to do for all ages. YaYA lives about 1/2 mile away and has a well available to refill your water. Primitive camping is permitted at designated wooded high grounds in the middle of the property. It is a 5 and 10-minute rugged hike in to the middle ground respectively. The trail remains under development, so please bring close-toed shoes or boots for hiking throughout the property (depending on rainfall, there may be mud and water).
We have two primitive campsites These campsites are first come first serve, they are not assigned when booking.
Our Glamper tent is a 10x12 canvas furnished full size bed with bedding, pillows and enough floor space for two sleeping bags.
The tents are located off a short trial, but rugged 2-minute hike from the parking area. We provide the opportunity to go camping without having to pack the tent.
Closed toed shoes are highly suggested as well as plenty of lighting with batteries or solar charging capability. This is a rugged, fun and serene camping experience.
Located less than 10 mins to Navarre Beach, - 30 mins to Pensacola Beach, - 15 mins to Naval Live Oaks, - 45 mins to Fort Pickens, - 50 mins to NAS Pensacola, - 45 mins to Santa Rosa Island, - 35 mins to Okaloosa Island, - 40 mins to Destin.

Large parking lot but watch for low power lines. Beach Cruiser Bicycle repair and gas motorized bicycle repair and sales. Have bicycle tires tubes and many bicycle parts in stock!
I only have 1 site renting, the parking lot is never crowded with other vehicles. Great place to park, no detours off of HWY 29, just pull in and pull out, circular drive and parking lot. Direct access to other Highways like Hwy 65. No alcohol at this campsite, serenity. AA meetings if you would like. Property established in 1963.

Oh WoW!!!!! I do not know where to start. This place is ABSOLUTELY hands DOWN one of the BEST places I’ve ever stayed. From the Serenity and Peace you feel to the Beauty of the Outdoors is an ALL in ONE Package!!! I absolutely loved it here.
The facilities are so well maintained. Bathrooms were very clean, shower was hot and refreshing, and the little hut or common area had a keurig for coffee and supplies so we could cook as if we were in our own home. I’ll be honest though, with all those lovely gems, I still cooked over my campfire. You gotta have at least one campfire meal.
Not only is this place a Godsend, the owner Amanda is amazing. She took time to hike up to our campsite to say hello and welcome us to her place of serenity. Had some laughs with us and gave us her direct line in case there was anything we needed. She took the time to make sure we would have the best experience ever. Shoot, Amanda even accommodated our neighbors who stayed in Yurt #7 and let them have a birthday party for their 13 yr old boy. This is rare because there is very limited parking and spots first go to guest. She went over and beyond though so this lil man could celebrate his BIG 13 with his family and friends. We even celebrated with them. I was kinda sad they left early though. Totally understand they didn’t want to stay because the weather forecast was predicting heavy thunderstorms. I definitely get it.

The property was beautiful! The accommodations were all very nice from the bathrooms and kitchen area to the campsites themselves. Very clean and very beautiful. Highly recommend taking the kayak trip and bringing some floaties/boogie boards for the river. Amanda is a great communicator and extremely nice, 10/10 recommend and will definitely be coming back! The campsites are spaced out nicely so they aren’t too far away from one another but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet, great for groups or couples!

This place was great! We stayed in the glamping tent/cabin, and despite absolute downpouring rain, we were bone dry inside, and quite comfortable. The AC unit gave us tremendous relief, at night we literally got chilly. Such a cool atmosphere in the whole area. The host was great, he met us even though we showed up late at night, he gave us a tour of the area and we saw him from time to time throughout the trip and he was a pleasure to chat with. Definitely recommend!

Nice property.
Joseph is a great host.
He is kind and caring, and respects the privacy of his visitors.
Plenty of potable water, and plenty of hot water in the bath house.
Trails into the woods and out to a wetland where beautiful pitcher plants dot the terrain.
High-bush blueberry bushes out there will please both bear and people alike.
I had a very comfortable stay at Joseph’s land.

15 ft pop-up camper
Gateway Trails is the perfect little getaway! It’s small and family run, making it the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy the nature without feeling crowded. I’ve visited as a solo female camper a couple of times and never once felt unsafe or uncomfortable here. The setting is absolutely beautiful and remote, but there are still some restaurants and stores in the area with great selections. Jay and Suzette are so kind and helpful as well; I really can’t recommend this place highly enough.
