Deer and turkeys are spotted often near the creek! Renew, refresh, and be restored! Not long after you turn onto the private road that winds through the 14+ acre retreat called Haven of Hope, you will see Serenity Escape Treehouse on your right. Keep going and pass Rippling Brook Walking Trail on your left, and then Lost and Found Walking Trail on your right. Soon after, Peaceful Hideaway Treehouse will be on your left. Keep going up the mountain until you are greeted by the sight of a very large wooden deck and Happy Glamper RV under a permanent carport/awning shelter. Weekend Trip to Little Blue House @ Smith Lake

We absolutely loved staying at the Little Blue House! My first impression when I walked in was how clean and inviting it was. The beds are very comfortable, and there are plenty of pillows, blankets, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, and even a washer and dryer! There is no dishwasher, so be prepared to hand wash your dishes but that is not a big deal at all for me. Although it is rural, there is a Dollar General close enough so you can either drive there to pick up some items or DoorDash is also available to deliver your items to the front door. Of course my boys really appreciated the high speed WiFi and the smart TV where they watched their favorite YouTube channels and Netflix movies. We enjoyed using the fire pit for making s’mores, and I loved the outside lighting. Small disclosure, this charming home is not a lake house so it is not right on the water, but you can access the boat ramp just a mile and half away. I definitely would recommend this house!

3 nights at Little Blue House @ Smith Lake

The Little Blue House was whimsical, sweet, clean and welcoming! Really cozy with fully stocked kitchen. Great for dog guests with a fenced-in spot and a serene yard and nice quiet hilly road for morning walks. Nearby Bankhead national forest and Sipsey wilderness so it was nice to get out and about all day in nature then have showers, ac, and a comfy bed to come back to. Would stay again and bring friends!!

Weekend Trip to Haven of Hope

Excellent time at Serenity Escape Treehouse. We had time to hike the landscape at the treehouse, Little River Canyon, and Desoto State Park. We enjoyed time making smores, eating at The Hatter, and checking out the waterfalls and surrounding areas. The tree house was clean, accommodating for our family and pets, and had some warm little perks! Excellent stay!

The stay at the Treehouse was perfect. More than enough room for the (4) of us. The host had everything we needed and more. Super convenient to both parks we wanted to hike. You hear the roosters all hours of the day but we enjoyed it. If we’re ever in Northern Alabama again, we’d come back.
