Welcome to Misfit Mountain 🌿✨ A peaceful off-grid glamping escape tucked away in the mountains. If you’ve been craving fresh mountain air, peaceful mornings, crackling campfires, and a break from the nonstop noise of everyday life… you’ve found your spot. 32 private acres of beautiful mountain property filled with scenic views, winding hiking trails, and the kind of quiet that’s hard to find these days. The trails throughout the property are well-maintained and perfect for exploring, stretching your legs, or pretending you’re starring in your own outdoor adventure documentary. 😄 The best part? Photos truly don’t do this place justice. The peaceful atmosphere, the sounds of nature, the cool mountain breeze, and the glow of the fire at night create an experience that’s hard to capture with a camera. Whether you spend your time hiking the trails, sipping coffee while listening to the birds, grilling dinner under the trees, or sitting by the fire staring at the stars… Misfit Mountain is meant to be a place where you can slow down, breathe deep, and simply enjoy the beauty around you. We can’t wait to host your mountain escape. 🌲✨Welcome to Huckleberry 🌿✨ Tucked away on 32 private acres of beautiful mountain property, Huckleberry is a peaceful off-grid glamping retreat designed for guests looking to slow down, unplug, and enjoy nature. With scenic mountain views, well-maintained hiking trails, fresh air, and peaceful surroundings, this little mountain escape is truly something special. (And honestly… the photos don’t even come close to doing it justice.) 🚙 4WD/AWD: Use 4WD, drive slow (5 mph), park at the top by the Huckleberry sign, then follow trail signs (5+/- min walk). 🥾 No 4WD/AWD: Park at base; hike 15–30+ min uphill on very steep, gravel terrain. Wagon available at top. (Please, refer to arrival instructions for more information.) Inside the bell tent, you’ll find all the bear necessities for a comfortable stay. The site is solar-powered, so we kindly ask guests to use resources responsibly. Standard 110v and 12v outlets are available. Sleeping arrangements include 2 folding mattress beds that can be used as 2 single beds or unfolded into 2 full-size beds, sleeping up to 4 guests max. We provide: • Pillows, pillowcases, fitted sheets and flat sheets • 2 towels, 2 hand towels, 2 washcloths (Blankets are not provided during warmer seasons.) The kitchenette includes: • Propane camp stove (propane provided) • Silverware, cooking utensils, plates, bowls and cups • Ceramic-coated pots and pans • Small sink with 7 gallons of tap water Because this is an off-grid setup, water should be used sparingly. (Mountain sunsets vs. mountain dish duty 😄) The shower house features an instant propane-heated hot water system with approximately 12 gallons of water available. Please conserve water during your stay. The outhouse includes a simple compost-style camp toilet. Our mountain motto is: “1 poop, 1 scoop.” 💩🪏 After each use, simply add one scoop of compost material. Outside, guests can enjoy a picnic table, BBQ grill, fire pit, and peaceful mountain atmosphere. A small amount of firewood is provided. Additional firewood can be brought by guests or purchased if available. Whether you’re hiking the trails, relaxing by the fire, or simply enjoying the quiet mountain air, Huckleberry is the perfect place to disconnect from the chaos and reconnect with nature. 🌲
